"Why rush once? You just came." Erland felt strange about Steven's attitude.

"Erick's waiting for me outside."

Eland squinted his eyes. "Is Erick really waiting for you outside?" erick asked with a full glance. "Or is Sera really waiting for you?" guess Erland.

Steven stared pushyly at Erland. "Don't talk nonsense, I'll go first. I'll call you later." Steven immediately walked away from the three of them without turning his head at Fiona in the slightest.

Fiona continued to look at Steven's back which seemed to have moved away. "You why Fio? Are you sick?" leon asked when he saw Fiona's pale face.

"No." Fiona shook her head and looked at Leon. "Sister, I'm going to toliet for a second" Fiona said.

"The toilet is straight, turn left after that stay straight to the right," Erland explained to Fiona.

"Thank you" Fiona told Erland.

Fiona walked in with quick steps. Not in the direction Erland was pointing, but instead, he walked towards the exit.

Fiona turned her head to the left to look for Steven. He steps up when he sees Steven walking towards the parking lot. "Steve wait." Steven seemed to keep going.

"Steve," Fiona shouted in a loud voice. Steven stopped his steps right next to his car and looked back and saw Fiona running to get to him.

"Steve, wait a minute. I want to talk." Fiona stood right in front of Steven. His breathing was wheezing from chasing Steven, after catching his breath, before speaking.

Steven spread his gaze around before looking back at Fiona. "Did your girlfriend know you were seeing me?"

Fiona was silent for a moment. "No," Fiona replied in a soft voice, "there's something I want to talk to you about." Despite Steven being cold to her, Fiona keeps trying to look okay.

Steven pressed the corner of his lips. "Sorry Miss Fiona, I still have important business so can't talk to you."

Fiona looks disappointed to hear the answer from Steven. "Steve, are you still mad at me for what happened?" fiona asked with a sad face.

"Anged?" steven asked with raised eyebrows, "you mean I get angry when you reject me and prefer another man?"

"Steve, I can...."

Before Fiona could finish her words, Steven cut in. "Listen Fiona, we don't have any more urursan. I don't care who your lover is and who you're related to. It has absolutely nothing to do with me."

Steven walked to the back door of his car. "Come inside, maybe your girlfriend is looking for you."

Fiona squeezed both hands when she saw Steven was already in the car. "Steve," called Fiona in a quivering voice as Steven's car drove off leaving her alone there.

Tears that from earlier he was able to hold directly dripped. Fiona wiped her tears, lowered her head then sighed heavily. After feeling calm, Fiona went back inside.

"Where have you been?" leon asked with an anxious face when he saw Fiona walking towards him.

"Sorry Brother, it seems like I can't accompany Brother any longer here," Fiona said with a regretful face.

Leon looked down at Fiona. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought you here. I know you don't like places like this."

Fiona shook her head quickly. "It's not like that brother, I just don't feel well."

Leon takes off his suit and puts it on Fiona. "We'll just go home, I've been chatting with Erland for quite some time."

Fiona nodded and walked along with Leon towards the exit.

Arriving at home, Leon immediately returned home after seeing Fiona enter the house. "Why are you so quick to come home and where's Leon?" ask Fiona's mother when she sees her son has just come home when he hasn't been away for long.

Fiona stopped her footsteps, looking at her mother for a moment. "Sister Leon's home, I'll go to the room first, Ma." Fiona immediately walked towards her room so that her mother would not ask her much.

Sarah looked in wonder at Fiona. "What else is with that kid? Did he have a fight with Leon?" monologue Fiona's mother.

Fiona couldn't sleep well last night. Steven's shadow kept spinning in his head. After work, he intends to meet Steven. Yesterday, he hadn't explained to Steven yet but Steven had left.

After Fiona finished preparing, she walked towards the dining room. Fiona looks lethargic as she sits at the dining table. "Fio, what's wrong with you?" cindy asked when she saw her sister just silently chewing the bread in her mouth. Her mother is also seen not opening any chat with Fiona even though they are in the same room.

Fiona gulped down a glass of milk before answering her sister's question. "It's okay, Brother. I've finished breakfast. I'm leaving first."

Sarah looks just staring at Fiona's departure with an indifferent face. "Maybe he had a fight with Leon last night" replied Sarah's origin.

"Arrangled?"

Cindy was doubtful of her mother's words. He knows Leon's personality. Although sometimes Fiona can be provoked emotions with certain things, but different from Leon. He can always control himself. That's why Cindy doesn't believe in her mother.

Sarah nodded. "You better have breakfast and then go to work. What are you poking at him for. He's grown up, can solve his own problems."

Sarah sipped her tea and looked at her son. "Didn't you fight with him a lot? I know you don't like him either" Sarah said indifferently.

"Ma, I do fight with him a lot but that doesn't mean I hate him. I did envy him because papa always paid more attention to him than me, but after I thought, maybe because Mama was never nice to him, she said, that's why you pay more attention to him than me."

Cindy admitted she was angry with her father for looking more loving to Fiona. Everything Fiona wants is always fulfilled by her father, even without Fiona asking her father to always try to give the best for her. That's what makes Cindy feel angry and envious at Fiona and often they fight over it.

"Your father loved her more than you. It's because of Fiona ana...." Cindy frowned when she heard her mother stop her words. "Because he is a spoiled child" continued Lydia after a moment of silence.

"Ma, stop. Don't talk about the past. Stop being cynical and indifferent to her, no matter how much Fiona is your child." Cindy is seen chanting her bread after finishing her speech.

"You wouldn't act like this if you knew the truth." Sarah was not happy with her son's words.

"I mean Mama?" ask Cindy with a curious face.

Sarah stood up and looked at her son. "Finish your breakfast and go. Don't let you regret not having anything."

Cindy's forehead shriveled at her mother's words. Actually he still wanted to ask his mother the meaning of his words, only when he saw the clock in his hand. It seems he has no more time.

In the afternoon Fiona intends to meet Steven at his mansion, but he aborts because Leon invites him to meet not far from his office. Fiona rushes downstairs when she finds out Leon is waiting for her downstairs.

"Have I made Brother wait a long time?" fiona asked when she saw Leon leaning against her car. "No," Leon replied as he shook his head.

Leon opens the door for Fiona. "Come in." Fiona smiled as she nodded. The car drove off after Leon got into the car.

Leon accidentally chooses a restaurant close to Fiona's office so as not to take a long time on the way. When they have just entered the restaurant, Fiona accidentally sees Steven talking to Erick and a woman.

The woman was the woman Fiona had seen 6 months ago when she accidentally saw Steven at one of the restaurants while she was meeting with Reynald.

Fiona continued to look at Steven and Steven was accidentally looking at him. They looked at him for a moment then Steven directed his gaze at the woman in front of him.

Erick is of course aware of Fiona's presence when he sees Steven's gaze, but he doesn't want to comment anything afraid that his boss will be angry with him after seeing Fiona coming along with a man.

Leon leads Fiona to sit by the window. "What do you want to order?" leon asked while looking at the menu book.

"Anything."

Leon nodded then ordered food for them.

Fiona looked back at Steven who was also looking at her. They looked at him for a moment and Steven turned his eyes. Leon followed Fiona's gaze and immediately frowned.

"Isn't that Steven, the guy Erland introduced last night?"

Fiona immediately turned her eyes to Leon. "Yes" Fiona replied briefly

Leon placed both of his hands on the table then advanced his body looking solemnly at Fiona. "Have you known Steven before?"

Seeing Fiona's unusual gaze and Steven's unnatural demeanor last night makes Leon think that they actually know each other.

"Yeah," Fiona answered honestly with a bow, "actually the mansion I once told my uncle belonged to Steven, actually" I'm Fiona. "I lived there a few days after my father's death."

Fiona then tells Leon everything. There's no point in him covering that up with Leon. He no longer wants to cover anything from Leon because in the end Leon will definitely know the truth.

"Why didn't you call back then? You can stay at my house and Jesy instead of having to live with him. Moreover, you just know him and do not know if he is a good person. How can you stay alone with him under one roof?"

Just this time, Leon showed emotional turmoil from the tone of speech. He was used to being calm but this time he couldn't seem to pry his words. Although Leon does not speak in a high tone, Fiona can tell that Leon is angry with him.

"Sister, at that time I had no other choice. I can't think clearly nor do I want to trouble you and Jesy. I just want to calm myself down. After all, Steven took good care of me and has helped me many times. I just appreciate her sincerity" Fiona explained.

Leon took a breath. "You'd rather live with a stranger than me and Jesy? Don't you think of us as your closest people?"

"Sorry Brother, that's not what I meant. I just...." Fiona sighed. He chose not to continue because he thought he was wrong and there was no point in him defending himself.

"Did your mother know about this?"

"Yeah," Fiona replied while nodding.

Leon looked seriously at Fiona. "So, you intend to mend your relationship again with Steven?"

"I just want to explain the misunderstanding between us. I wasn't expecting anything else. Anyway, it looks like he hates me." There was a tinge of disappointment in Fiona's words.

"Is this why you asked me to pretend to be your lover in front of your mother because you were waiting for her to come back and intended to marry her?"
