Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart

Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart
Steven's Cold Attitude

Steven's mother took a deep breath after which exhaled it through her mouth. "That woman is Fiona Adiguna House."

When hearing Fiona's name mentioned by her mother, Steven felt like he was struck by lightning in broad daylight. His heart was pounding very fast, his face instantly paled like a corpse, his body stiff as if his blood flow had stopped flowing within his body.

Steven was silent for a while until his consciousness returned. "Fiona?" reiterate Steven with a face of disbelief.

Steven took a deep breath trying to control himself. "I know you never liked Fiona, but you never tried to scapegoat her to make me hate her." Steven tried

"Steve, I told you that you never hated Fiona. Why all this time you never agreed to your relationship with Fiona is because you knew in the end, you would never forgive someone who had a relationship with Gwen's death even though Fiona was innocent."

Steven was silent while looking down. All sorts of thoughts raged in his mind. His inner being is at war, whether he will stick to the original plan to avenge Gwen's death or forgive Fiona and let Gwen's troubles pass him by.

Seeing that Steven was still standing, his mother reopened her voice, "Now it's up to you, it's useless that mama's preventing you. You wouldn't want to hear what Mom said if it was Gwen's problem."

For Steven, Gwen is his life, so nothing will stop him if he wants to punish the man he found guilty in Gwen's accident.

His mother did not want to interfere anymore, now he left everything to Steven. Previously, he had tried to keep Steven away from Fiona but Steven himself was not willing to let go.

"You should have listened to my mother's words from the beginning. Mama has asked you to end your relationship with Fiona, but you're still tight-lipped about your stance on keeping her. Even when mom told you to find out about Fiona, you turned her down under the pretext that you knew everything about her."

Steven's memory goes back to the spin when his mother asks him several times to stay away from Fiona in order to protect them both.

It turns out that's why her mother disapproves of her relationship with Fiona because her mother knows that she will never forgive anyone who has harmed Gwen, even though in reality, it wasn't Fiona who caused Gwen's death.

Actually, Fiona just happened to be in the car that hit Gwen to death. Had her mother not covered up about Gwen's accident, it's possible that Fiona would have been in the bars by now.

Steven sat in one of the chairs nearby. Her body felt limp to find a reality that was very surprising to her. "Ma, how did this all happen? Why did you hide all this from me?" Steven looked at his mother with a disappointed and angry face.

"Because mom and dad don't want you to make mistakes that will make you regret later. If, you knew from the beginning about Gwen's accident, are you sure you wouldn't have done anything to Fiona?"

Steven was silent to his mother's words. "So, you knew who Fiona was from the beginning?"

"Yeah. In the past, your father asked Halim to take Fiona out of the country so you couldn't find Fiona if one day you found out the truth about Gwen, but in fact, for whatever reason, Halim brought him back here until you finally met him," Steven's mother said.

When Steven first brought Fiona to his parents' mansion. His mother was shocked to see Steven carrying a girl who looked a lot like the girl who had a relationship with Gwen's death. Out of curiosity, Steven's mother decides to investigate Fiona. From there, he knew that Fiona was indeed the person he meant.

"So, papa's been involved in this?"

Steven was really made like a fool. For years he was lied to by his own family, but they knew how to fall apart when he lost Gwen first.

"Yes, the reason why you can't find anything about Gwen is because your father told people to erase all traces of Gwen and Fiona's accident. In your opinion, other than your father, who else can do that without being tracked by anyone."

It was only fair that when he investigated Gwen, she never got any information, even though she had already deployed all her connections. As he recalled the moment he had Erick investigate Fiona, he found no data regarding the accident that Fiona had experienced. It turns out that her father had deleted everything related to Gwen's accident including Fiona's data so that she could not find the slightest information.

Steven was pensive for a moment, before again asking with his mother. "Then, where is Gwen's grave?" Steven reopened his voice after a moment of silence.

"In country H, in the southern part of the city S. That's where Darius buried Gwen's body." Steven's mother looked at Steven who was back in silence, "do you intend to go there? Steve, remember, in two days your application will be implemented, don't make trouble before the event."

Steven ignored his mother's warning. "Who's the name of the person who hit Gwen and where is she languishing at the moment?"

"Steve, do you really want to avenge Gwen's death?"

"Steve, listen to your mom's story first. Don't you want to know how the accident happened? At that time, Fiona was in a state of cris...."

Steven turned around, turned his back on his mother. "I don't want to hear any more explanations. Supposedly, Mama told me when Gwen was in an accident, instead of covering her up" Steven cut in a cold tone before his mother finished her speech.

"Steve, don't do things you'll regret later" Steven's mother said before her son left her office.

Steven did not comment on his mother's words and chose to walk to the door. When she had just stepped out, she saw Fiona already lying unconscious on the floor near the entrance of her study.

Quickly, Steven crouched down to grab Fiona's body and tried to resuscitate her. "Fio, wake up Fio...." Steven looks really panicked to see Fiona pass out. "Fiona.. wake up."

Heard the voice of his son calling Fiona's name. Steven's mother immediately followed her son. "Fiona, why, Steve?" I asked Steven in a panic.

Steven looked at his mother. "Fainting, Ma." Steven lifts Fiona's body and leads towards her room followed by her mother from behind.

"He must have listened to everything we talked about."

Steven's mother looked at her son who was sitting next to Fiona who was already lying on the bed.

"Ma, don't talk about that anymore."

Steven's mother sighed with a resigned face. "Alright, mama stay first. Talk carefully with him when he's conscious." Steven's mom got out of Steven's room and shut the door.

Steven was seen looking at Fiona's face with a complicated look for a long time. Her hand made an outstretched mukai wanted to caress Fiona's face, but was held up in the air. He finally pulled his hand, took his cell phone and contacted someone.

After waiting for half an hour, Fiona finally opened her eyes. Steven still had not moved from his seat and was still looking at Fiona's face.

"Steve's." Fiona called out to Steven in a very slow voice.

Steven looked at Fiona with a flat face. "Why are you here?"

Fiona woke up from her sleep and sat up straight. "I want to see your mother."

Steven was silent, while Fiona looked at Steven with a sad face. "I've heard everything. Steve, I. at that time...."

"Come home, I'll have Erick drive you, "cut Steven while turning his eyes to the side. He deliberately avoided the gaze from Fiona.

"Steve, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry," Fiona said in a quivering voice, "I don't...."

"Fiona, you better go back to your apartment. There's Erick up front, he'll drive you home."

Looking at Steven's cold demeanor, his chest throbbed in pain. This was the first time Steven had been cold to her. Fiona forced herself to keep smiling and said, "Alright, I better go home by myself." Fiona got out of bed with a sick heart, "i'll go home first."

Steven no longer replied to Fiona. Nor did he attempt to prevent Fiona from going home on her own. Normally, she wouldn't allow Fiona to go home by herself, but not this time, she just kept quiet, letting Fiona step out.

Before passing through the door, Fiona stopped her steps, after which, she turned to Steven. "Steve, there's still time if you want to cancel our wedding. I'll wait for your decision tomorrow."

Seriate....
