Sarah walked in with a face still filled with anger. "Where are you going?" asked her mother when she saw Fiona had changed into work clothes and wanted to walk out of the house.

Fiona stopped her steps when she passed her mother who was about to climb the stairs. "Ma's work," Fiona replied in a soft voice.

"You can't go anywhere. Mama didn't let you out today" Sarah said firmly.

"But Ma, I have to work," protested Fiona with a helpless face. Actually he knows, it's useless to argue his mother's speech because he won't be able to go against his mother's wishes.

Fiona's mother approaches Fiona. "worked? Do you think you don't know, you're definitely going to meet that guy, right?" accuse Sarah. "Didn't Mom ever warn you to break up with her? How did Leon feel when he found out, you had an affair behind him with such a lowly man?"

Cindy, who had just returned home, was called by her mother. "Mom locked Fiona in a room, never open the door if she asks you for help."

Cindy's mother grunts. "You must not be fooled by his appearance. Today, many people are styling beyond their means."

"It's possible that his watch was fake and hit a car, he could have hired him to cheat and ensnare innocent girls like you and Fiona" Cindy's mother replied lightly.

Cindy seemed to think. "Despite that, you shouldn't have treated Steven like that. Don't put it too low, Ma."

Later that night, Steven heads to his parents' mansion with Erick. Although Steven was lazy, but he was forced to go there because he did not want to argue with his mother.

"Ma" said Steven when he saw his mother sitting at the dinner table.

"Sit down" said Steven's mother. "Erick, you can sit, too" Steven's mother continued when she saw Erick just standing up.

"Thank you, Madam." Erick sat down next to Steven.

"What would you like my mom to talk to me about?" Steven immediately asked his mother a core question. Steven could guess that his mother would want to convey something important so take him to dinner together.

"We eat first, then we talk."

"Wait a minute, we have to wait for Sera. In a moment, he'll be here." Steven's mother stopped her son when she wanted to take food.

Steven raised his eyebrows. "Other than Sera, who else did you invite tonight?" Steven felt his mother's attitude looked unusual.

"Nothing else. Why why?" ask Steven's mom.

"Good night everyone." Sera entered the dining room with a smile.

Steven and his mother looked over. "Sera, sit down." Steven's mother directed her hand to the seat beside him.

"Thank you, Auntie," said Sera, sitting down.

Steven looked at Sera. "Why didn't you tell me you wanted to come here?" steven asked while looking at Sera.

"I thought you knew. Are you mad at me for not telling you?"

Steven smiled. "No, I'm just asking."

"Steve, you embarrassed Sera by asking questions like that."

"It's okay, Auntie," said Sera with a sweet smile.

"We better eat now" Steven said. "Sera must be hungry too."

Sera smiled happily to show Steven's attention towards him.

"All right." They started to have dinner with him. When they finished, they started talking.

"Steven, you and Sera have known each other for a long time. You guys have been close too."

Steven and Sera have been close for a long time, especially to their mother. Sera spent more time with her mother than she did. They are like a mother and a child.

Sera is the closest woman and understands Steven's nature. While others could not get close to Steven, only Sera was able to stand by his side. Steven has always treated Sera well.

Their closeness was misunderstood by Steven's mother. Although actually, Sera did put her heart on Steven. A lot of people are jealous of Sera for being close to Steven, even some of them think that Sera is Steven's future wife.

Steven's mother stared at her impatient child. "Mama's planning to make Sera part of our family."

Steven glanced at Sera who looked smiling sweetly. "Mama wants to raise him to be a child?" steven asked, smiling at his mother.

The smile on Steven's face instantly disappeared after hearing his mother's words.
