Leon's Doubts About Steven

"Sister, why don't you tell me first that you want to come here?"

Fiona walked up to Leon who was standing in front of his car. Fiona who just finished bathing and was surprised when she got a call from Leon who said that he was in front of Steven's mansion.

Leon looked at Fiona. "Why? Did Steven forbid you to meet me?"

Fiona walked up to Leon. "No, not like that. I'm just afraid, I wasn't there when you came here." Actually Fiona was worried that Steven would be angry to see Leon coming to her.

Leon immediately pulled Fiona's hand. "I want to take you somewhere."

"Sister, wait, I've got to go with Steven first." Fiona tries to stop Leon from pulling her.

Leon stopped his steps and turned half of his body to Fiona. "Yin? What'd you let her do?" Look at Leon with a surprised face.

"Look, I've actually been in a relationship with Steven."

Leon releases Fiona's hand and flips her entire body to face Fiona. "Having a relationship with him?" Leon seemed to be in disbelief at what he heard. "So, you're already her lover?"

"Yes," Fiona replied firmly.

Leon did not move, his body frozen for a moment. "Fiona, I don't want to interfere with your problems, but do you know Steven well?"

Leon just doesn't want Fiona to pick the wrong pair. Fiona is an innocent girl, although she used to be a popular woman at school and on campus, but, she never had a relationship with men. Leon is worried that Fiona will only be played.

"Steven is a good guy, all this time, he's been helping me a lot" Fiona explained.

"Fio, do you know that every man will do amazingly well, if he wants to. Not all of the kindness shown by the man was sincere. You don't even know which is sincere and which isn't with you. The proof is that you're often used by friends around you."

During school because of Fiona's cleverness and kindness, often he was used by his friends to get good grades, but behind him they sneered at Fiona who was very easy to use, as well as when in college.

"But Steven is different, brother."

"Fio, you've never been close to a man other than me and Fian, so how do you know that Steven is different from the others?"

"I believe in my choices, I will not misjudge people."

Leon shook his head and then sighed. "Alright, it's up to you. Now come with me, there's something I want to show you."

"But Brother, I have to..."

"I'll take responsibility if Steven gets mad at you. He's not your husband Fio yet, he can't forbid you to meet me."

Fiona thought for a moment. "All right." There was no point in him arguing with Leon at this moment. He better come with Leon and tell Steven later.

Leon's car leaves Steven's mansion after the two of them get into the car. "Where are we going?" ask Fiona while on her way.

"Have you had dinner?" Leon turned to Fiona for a moment before returning to focus looking ahead. "Not yet."

"All right, we'll have dinner first." Leon parked his car at a restaurant not far from his driving location.

Fiona and Leon enter the restaurant and sit in one of the empty seats. "What do you want to order?" Leon stared at the menu book while asking Fiona. No answer, Leon then raised his head staring in wonder at Fiona. "Fio," call Leon again.

Fiona nodded and looked at Leon. "Anything" Fiona replied. He looked straight ahead. Leon frowned and then flipped his body backwards in the direction of Fiona's gaze.

"Isn't that Steven?" Leon turned his body back to look at Fiona who was still silent.

Fiona looked down and looked in any direction. "Looking at your reaction, I'm sure he didn't tell you he was meeting another woman here" Dion guessed.

"They're just friends, brother."

What are they doing here? Why didn't Steven tell me he was going to meet Sera.

"Fiona, I told you not to trust a man you don't know very well. I doubted it more. It's just that your mom doesn't like Steven."

"Sir, Sera and Steven are close because they have been friends for a long time. Same with you and me." Fiona is still trying to keep thinking positively.

"All right, it's up to you."

"Sir, can we eat somewhere else?"

"No, I don't want Steven to see us here. I'm afraid he'll misunderstand."

"Fiona, are you still worried that she'll misunderstand you when she meets another woman herself without your knowledge?"

Leon still does not understand the thoughts of Fiona who still had time to think about Steven's feelings.

"All right, we're out of here." Leon stands up and walks with Fiona out of the restaurant.

During the trip, Fiona just kept silent while staring out. "Fio," call Leon.

Fiona looked at Leon. "I'm sorry" Leon said suddenly.

"For?" ask Fiona.

"My words were," said Leon, turning to Fiona for a moment. "I don't mean to interfere with your problems. I just don't want you to get hurt."

Fiona tried to smile. "Yes, I understand." However, Fiona is very familiar with Leon's true nature. There was no malicious intent the first time he said anything about Steven.

"Actually, what does Brother Leon want to tell me to take me out?" ask Fiona.

"I've found a place to live for you." Leon's initial intention to meet Fiona is to invite her to see a new place to live for him. These few days, he's out of town so he just got to meet Fiona tonight.

"No need, Brother. I've got a new place to stay" Fiona refused quickly.

"Where?"

"In Steven's apartment," Fiona answered honestly.

Leon pulled his car over on the side of the road and looked at Fiona. "Fiona, you're not married, how can you live in her apartment?" ask Leon in a slightly high tone.

"We don't live together, the apartment he doesn't use anymore" Fiona said.

"It's on your will or Steven's insistence?"

"He didn't force me, but I chose to stay there myself."

Leon looked at Fiona with a complicated look. "Fiona, I don't care if you're in a relationship with her, but living in her apartment means she wants to tie you up so you're always in her control."

"Sister Leon, I'm planning to marry him."

Leon's eyes grew bigger. "Fiona, do you realize what you're saying right now?"

Fiona nodded confidently. "Of course."

Leon gave a rough breath. "Do you want to marry her just because of your father's will?"

"No."

"So, you really love her?"

"Yes," Fiona replied firmly.

Leon looked at Fiona seriously. "Rethink your decision, don't rush to make a decision. You have to make sure first whether Steven really loves you or not. You don't even know what Steven's past is, do you?"

"I don't need to know his past, the most important thing for me is the present." According to Fiona, everyone has their own past.

"Fiona, you won't be able to be with Steven."

"Why?" fiona asked with a surprised face.

"For the reason you found out for yourself" Leon said as he re-run his car. "The past that you said wasn't important will be the biggest obstacle in your relationship" Leon continued, without looking at Fiona.
