Doni's Mistakes

After finishing paying for the food, Leon is seen walking towards Fiona and Jesi who are already standing in front of the cafe entrance. They walk to Leon's black sedan to the mall.

After getting tired of going around the mall and satisfied shopping. The three decided to have dinner at a western restaurant not far from the location of Leon's mall.

“Eat, after that we go straight home,” Leon said when the food they had come.

“Iya kak,” Fiona and Jesi replied in unison.

The three of them enjoyed their meal in silence.

“Kak, will you take me first huh? After that you just delivered Fiona,” pinta Jesi after she looked at the drink.

Leon nodded in agreement. “No need, I just took a taxi home,” reject Fiona when she heard the words Jesi.

Fiona couldn't possibly approve of Leon driving her home. Leon will be suspicious if he is escorted to Steven's mansion because Leon also knows Fiona's true residence.

Leon looked at the clock in his hand. “It's already night. I won't allow you to take a taxi home by yourself, too dangerous for you,” Leon stared at Fiona who looked a little agitated.

“But I didn't go home. Mama asked me to follow her to papa's sister's mansion. We plan to stay there because there is currently an event there,” Fiona lies.

Leon's eyebrows are fused. “Why didn't I know that your papa had a sister living in this city?” jesi asked before Leon let out his voice to ask the same thing as Jesi.

“Actually papa's sister lives abroad. Recently, he decided to move here after learning of the news of papa died.” In Fiona cursed herself when she had to lie to Leon and the only friend she had.

Jesi mutters after hearing Jesi's explanation, while Leon seems to think hard while staring in full search at Fiona.

“No problem, I will keep dropping you off.”

Leon insists on dropping Fiona off because he is worried about Fiona. Fia does not want to let Fiona go home alone by taxi, besides, she feels that Fiona is hiding something from her.

“Iyaa, it's better for Leon to take you. It would be safer if you went home with her,” persuaded Jesi when he saw Fiona seemed to be refusing again.

“Alright then,” said Fiona resignedly.

He feels Leon will still insist on driving him, even though Fiona continues to refuse. There's no point in him arguing. He is also not used to using a taxi to go home at night especially when the clock is already showing at 10 pm. Usually he would ask the driver to pick him up.

They finished dinner quickly as the night got late. After they finished filling their stomachs. Leon invites Jesi and Fiona to drive them home immediately. The car drove by after they exited the restaurant.

“You guys be careful on the road,” said Jesi when he arrived in front of his apartment. He was waving at Leon and Fiona.

Leon and Fiona nodded and fell on Jesi. "We go home first" said Fiona.

Jesi nodded as she continued to stare at Leon's car which started leaving her apartment.

“You just show me the way to your uncle's house,” Leon said shortly after leaving Jesi's house.

Fiona nodded. “Sorry to trouble you, brother." Fiona felt bad for Leon when she saw the tired streak on her face.

Leon turned his gaze for a moment at Fiona. “What are you talking about? You still think of me as someone else?” Leon doesn't like to hear Fiona.

To be honest, she was happy to be able to drive Fiona home because she still wanted to linger with Fiona. Leon misses the old days of freely meeting Fiona. However, now because their respective busyness makes them unable to meet every day.

Fiona looked at Leon. “Which is possible, I just feel big brother look tired today.”

Leon rubbed his forehead. “I just lack of sleep, lately a lot of work that I have to take care of.”

"You must take care of your health, too, brother. Don't get too tired at work" Fiona said.

"of course... I know you're a hard worker. Just don't ignore your health, brother."

On the way they talked the times they often met. Leon occasionally looks to look at Fiona while responding to Fiona's words. After Fiona got tired of talking, Leon started to focus on driving without speaking. Fiona tried to close her eyes for a moment after telling Leon the address of Steven's mansion.

“Why don't you follow him until he gets home here?” Steven looked intently at Doni. When she gets home from work, she sees that Fiona has not yet returned to her mansion. Time shows at 11pm.

Steven arrived at his mansion at 9 p.m. She is shocked to find Fiona has not yet returned home. He said he would be home in the afternoon. Steven decided to clean up first. After that, Steven asked Erick to contact Doni and told him to come to his mansion that very night.

“Sorry Sir, Miss Fiona asked me to come home soon. He said his friend would drive him home later.” Doni bowed while looking down at the glittering gaze of his boss.

Steven walked up to Doni who was not far in front of him, while Erick as usual would stand behind Steven. “Actually who are you working for? Why do you listen more to his words than I command?”

Doni bowed again. “Sorry Sir, it's my fault.”

“Report everything you know while you were watching Fiona earlier.” Steven walked into his mansion and sat on the living room sofa with his legs resting on his other legs. Erick stood beside her while Doni stood before her.

Doni started telling me everything he saw. Starting from her drive Fiona, pick up Jesi until Fiona has met with Jesi and Leon. Doni did not go home immediately when Fiona was at the cafe with her friend. Even he followed Fioan secretly.

He kept an eye on Fiona for 3 hours. After making sure Fiona is okay. She turns to leave Fiona after Fiona asks her to go straight home and not wait for her.

“Why did you just tell me that they met at the supermarket?” asked Steven after hearing all the reports from Doni. He was a little surprised when he heard that Fiona had met Leon before.

“Sorry Sir, I don't think this is an important thing I should report to you.”

“Are you tired of working for me? You even made 2 mistakes at once today. Have I been too soft on you lately?” Steven stared intently at Doni who was looking down not daring to look at him.

“I'm sorry, Sir. In the future I will not make mistakes again,” said Doni carefully.

“What boy is Fiona's boyfriend?”

Doni raised his face looking at Steven who was seen staring at him with a flat gaze. “I don't know Sir, but I think they're very close. Looks like the guy likes Miss Fiona, Mister,”, Doni said as she looked at Steven's flat gaze. “What do I need to find out, Mister?” continued Doni when he saw Steven speechless after hearing his words.

Steven tapped his finger on the armrest of the sofa. “No need. You can go.”

“Good sir, I'm sorry,” said Doni bowed then took a few steps back and then turned around to leave Steven's mansion.

“Iyaaa Tuan.”

“Did my mother contact you to ask where I was?” tanya Steven turned to Erick, after seeing Doni was no longer seen.

“Iyaa Sir. I've said that you always stay in an apartment that is not far from the office because of the many office affairs that require you to overtime and can not go home for a while," Erick explained.

Steven stands. “Good. You go home,” says

"Good sir." Steven walked towards his room leaving Erick who appeared to be bowing after his departure.
