After work, Fiona is immediately escorted back to her apartment by a new bodyguard arranged by Erick. Doni is still recovering, so he can't yet be assigned to look after Fiona.

Actually, Doni has been declared cured and healthy by doctors, only Steven asked him to rest again for the next week.

After thanking her new bodyguard, Fiona walks into the loby of her apartment. There was already someone waiting for him.

"Fiona." A man approached her when he saw her had just entered the loby.

"Rey," Fiona said politely.

Reynald smiles. "Can we talk for a minute?"

Fiona instantly recalls Steven's ban on not being close to other men, but Fiona feels bad about Reynald considering he's been helping her a lot after Steven's departure abroad.

"Alright, but I can't take long."

"No problem, we're talking there." Reynald pointed at the sofa that was in the loby.

Fiona nodded then followed Reynald's steps. "Fiona, there's actually a lot I want to ask you, but it looks like you're busy. This time, I just wanted to ask you a few things. Others, I'll ask you once you have time."

"What do you want to ask me?"

"Is it true that you're in a relationship with Steven like he told me?"

"Yes, Steven is my girlfriend and we are planning to get married" Fiona said. He had to explain to Reynald in the future so that there was no misunderstanding between the two of them.

"Fiona, have you thought about it carefully? Do you know Steven well?"

He never told anyone about his abduction, only Cindy and her mother knew. After she was released, Cindy had time to see her condition when she was in the hospital but Cindy had promised not to tell anyone else.

"It doesn't matter where I know. I didn't mean to interfere with your problems. You know I've cared about you for a long time. I'll respect your decision to be with Steveb. But, if you have a problem or you need my help, don't hesitate to contact me. I expect nothing from you. Think of me as your brother. Don't stay away from me, that's my only request."

Reynald could sense that Fiona was trying to stay away from him ever since he was in a relationship with Steven. Their relationship is not as close as it used to be. Reynald's mind was immediately fixed on Steven, surely he was the one who asked Fiona to stay away from him.

Fiona thought while looking down, after which she turned to look at Reynald. "All right, but I can't be like I used to be. I have to keep Steven feeling as well."

"I know, I don't intend to ruin your relationship with Steven. I just don't want our relationship to be like people who don't know each other. At least don't avoid me if we meet outside."

"Yeah Rey, I'm sorry. I just don't want Steven to misunderstand you."

"Fiona, there's actually a very important thing that I want to talk to you about, but I can't talk about it being extinguished here."

"What's important?"

"Contact me when you have some free time, but I'm asking not to take too long because it's very important. If you can see me this week because I have to go abroad next week."

Fiona comes to Steven. "Steve, why are you here?" Of course Fiona is surprised by Steven's sudden arrival, usually he will preach it first if he wants to see him.

Steven stared flat at Fiona. "Why? Are you bothered by my arrival?"

Fiona smiled stiffly as she approached Steven. "It's not Steve, I'm just surprised."

Steven walked up to the elevator without saying anything. Before catching up with Steven, Fiona sighed first. "Steve, wait for me!" Fiona ran over when she saw the elevator doors would be closed. Since there was someone else in the elevator, Fiona decided to just shut up.

When the elevator opens, Steven walks first. "Steve, listen to me first." Steven just kept quiet, opened the door and went inside.

"Steve's." Fiona approached Steven who was already sitting in the living room. "I was just chatting with him." Steven sat leaning back while playing his phone regardless of Fiona.

"Stay away from him, I don't like being too familiar with him" Steven said without looking at Fiona.

"Alright, don't be angry anymore" Fiona said.

Steven put his phone on the table and looked at Fiona. "Fio, once again I see you meeting him without my knowledge, I will punish you."

Fiona gulped her saliva with a tense face when she saw Steven's stare. "Yes." Yeah."

"Come," Steven pulled Fiona's hand closer to him, after which he hugged her from the side. "Fiona, mama wants to see you" Steven said as he placed his chin on Fiona's shoulder.

Steven shrugged his chin, pulled away from Fiona's shoulder and played her hair. "Mama wants to talk about our marriage."

"Did your mother change her mind and want to cancel our marriage?" Bad thoughts immediately crossed Fiona's mind.

"No, my mom wants to speed up our marriage."

Fiona's pupils dilated. "really? You're not lying, are you?" fiona Cecar.

"No, why would I lie to you."

Steven begins to tell Fiona about the meeting with her mother and what they are talking about until her mother tells her to speed up their marriage.

"We must not waste this opportunity. You don't have to tell my mom the truth. Just shut up" Steven said after he finished telling Fiona.

"But, Steve...." Fiona just doesn't want to lie to Steven's mom

Steven clasped Fiona's hand to convince her. "Fiona, we're not just speeding up our marriage. Without that, we would still be married. It's just the time that's accelerated."

Fiona was silent for a moment. "Well, when do we see your mother?"

"Tonight, get ready. I'll wait here."

"All right, I'll take a shower first." When Fiona is about to wake up, her hand is held back by Steven.

"Wait a minute, you haven't apologized properly to me." Steven pulled Fiona's hand and briefly kissed her lips.

"Stevee.." screeched at Fiona with a flushed face.

"Bandy." Steven smiled as he let go of Fiona's hand. "Other times, if I see you meeting Reynald again, then, the punishment will be different" Steven threatened.

Fiona walked towards her room after nodding. When Fiona is ready, they head straight for Steven's mother's mansion.

"Steve, are you sure that your mother came here to talk about our marriage, not to cancel it?" fiona asked when they had just gotten out of the car.

"Yeah baby. Don't you trust me?"

"I'm just afraid of Steve's disappointment." Fiona still doesn't believe it completely.

Steven headed to the dining room, where his mother was already waiting. "You've come, sit down." Steven's mother looked more friendly than their previous meeting. Steven and Fiona nodded together then sat next to each other.

"We eat first, after that we just talk."

After eating, Steven's mother opened her mouth. "Fiona, Steven must have told you about the mascud I called you here."

"Yeah" Fiona replied politely.

Steven's mother looked at her son. "Mama has set your wedding date. You will be married in 3 weeks, while the proposal will be held next week. How, do you agree?"

Steven and Fiona immediately replied without hesitation. "Well, since you've agreed, mama will prepare everything." Steven's mother turned to look at Fiona. "Fiona, tell your family that we're coming next week to propose to you."

"Good Aunt."

"When do you have free time? You have to go to your boutique to choose the dress model you want to use on your wedding day."

Fiona thought for a moment. "Fiona's getting a aunt this weekend."

"Alright, mom will make an appointment with the owner of the boutique. Mama will call you later."

After talking about their wedding plans, Steven went to his room to clean his body. While her mother invites Fiona to chat in the family room.

Steven's mother looked at Fiona who was sitting in front of him. "Fiona, you must be wondering, why did I suddenly approve of your relationship and hasten your marriage? Of course the main reason is because Steven's already harming you. The other reason is because maybe you guys are meant to be together. Although I had once kept him away from you, but still fate brought you together again after a few years apart."

Fiona frowned at the sign of not understanding Steven's mother's words. His mind floated when Steven oergi went out of the country with no news. Could that be what Steven's mother meant.

"What does Aunt mean? Fiona doesn't understand."

"Fiona, this is a message from my late husband, I can't tell you. You don't have to find out anything else. Your job right now, please please please please make Steven happy.
