"Where are you going?"
"I want to go home, I'm afraid my mother will look for me" Fiona replied softly.
Steven looked at Fiona's face. "Let's stay here a few days until your mother calms down. He could've kicked you out if you showed your face while he was still angry."
"But, I can't trouble you constantly." Fiona squeezed both her hands, while looking at Steven who was seen looking at her expressionlessly.
Actually Fiona was also afraid to go home because her mother looked very angry at her at that time, but anyway she also had to stay home.
"If you feel bad for me, you can reply later, for now you just follow my words." Steven did not let Fiona go home for a while because she was worried about her mother's treatment later.
Steven immediately stood up without hearing Fiona's reply. Erick who had finished breakfast stood up. They both stepped together.
Fiona chases after Steven who seems to have walked out of his mansion. "Steve's." Steven's steps came to a halt when he heard Fiona call his name. He then turned around. "May I ride to the front?" Fiona approached Steven who was facing her.
Steven looked at Fiona with a sharp look. "Didn't you hear what I said? Stay here a few days."
Fiona slightly shriveled, seconds later she smiled stiffly. "I just want to go to my dad's meal" Fiona explained.
Steven's expression softened. "You wait here." Steven walked up to Erick. Moments later, Steven walked up to Fiona again after speaking with Erick. "I've asked people to take you there. He'll protect you if you accidentally meet your mother there. You just wait inside. He'll be here soon."
Fiona seemed a little surprised by Steven's words, how could he be so kind to her. He only knew her yesterday. "Thank you so much Steve" Fiona said sincerely.
"Remember! You should come back here again after you're done eating your father. Doni will wait and take care of you while there." Steven is only afraid that the incident at the hospital will happen again if Fiona accidentally meets her mother at her father's grave so she tells other bodyguards to accompany Fiona.
Fiona nodded. "Thank you so much Steve." Steven walked away from Fiona, who looked as if he was looking away.
Half an hour later came the person that Steven was referring to. “For Miss, I am Doni who was assigned by Mr. Steven to deliver Miss,” said the man wearing a black suit whose body slightly bent.
Fiona who had been sitting in the living room waiting for Doni to come pick her up, immediately stood up to Doni. “Call Fiona. You don't have to bother me, after all it looks like we're also the same age.”
“Sorry Miss, I don't dare. If Mr. Steven knows I'm calling your name straight away. I can be fired,” said Doni.
“Alright, it's up to you,” said Fiona resignedly. He doesn't want to make things complicated.
“Mari Miss, we're leaving now,” take Doni while pointing her hand outwards.
Fiona nodded then walked towards the car. In the course of no chatter at all between them.
The journey to his father's meal was almost an hour long. Arriving at her destination, Fiona lamgsung approaches her father's grave. “Pa.. Fiona came,” Fiona said when she arrived at her father's grave. Clear liquid started to come out from Fiona's eyelids. Doni just looked from a distance. He wanted to make room for Fiona to be more free.
Fiona is seen standing after sitting in front of her father's grave for 1 hour. With a slow step Fiona approached Doni. “I'm done,” Fiona said when she was in front of Doni.
“Mari Miss.” Doni waits for Fiona to walk ahead of him.
“Fio... What are you doing here?" ask a man who was already standing next to Fiona when Fiona was picking some fresh vegetables, while Doni was standing not far from Fiona.
Fiona who knew the voice turned her head. “Sister Leon,” he said with a happy face. “I'm buying groceries for cooking.” Leon is the cousin of his best friend.
“I heard from Jesi that your papa just died yesterday. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I couldn't be there when you were grieving because I was out of town. I just got back this morning.” Leon looked at Fiona with regretful eyes.
Fiona smile. “It's okay brother. I also forgot to tell you, after all the funeral was done quickly yesterday,” Fiona said, smiling awkwardly. He also felt bad for not telling Leon that when they were very close.
“Why are you here? Isn't this far from your house? Why are you shopping here?” asked Leon with a frown.
"So I have business here, so all of me shopping for groceries at home,” Fiona replied lying.
He couldn't possibly tell me that right now, he was living in Steven's mansion. Leon will definitely not agree and will directly tell him to stay in Jesi's apartment or at his house. Jesi is Fiona's closest friend.
Leon. He seems to believe Fiona's words. “You bring your own car or drive?”
“I brought my own car.”
“What are you doing here, Brother?” fiona asked while putting the vegetables she chose into the trolley.
“I finished a meeting with the client earlier near here, so all I stopped by to buy this,” Leon said as he lifted a transparent plastic containing fresh fruits.
“Mean, find a girlfriend or find a future wife as soon as possible so that someone can take care of your needs,” Fiona's advice that looks to smile thinly on Leon.
Fiona sometimes feels sorry for Leon because her parents are no longer there. Since both of his parents died, Leon has lived alone in his parents' estate. Everything he did himself. She doesn't like it much if there's someone else in her house. He just asked someone to clean his house every morning. When they are finished, they are allowed to go home.
“I haven't thought of looking for a boyfriend. How about yourself? Have you found a man who can make you fall in love?” Leon knows that Fiona is very difficult to fall in love with men. Even with her beautiful face, a lot of men who often approach her, but none of them can make her fall in love.
“No. I am still at home, after all I have to organize my life again after papa's departure,” said Fiona while walking pushing her trolley towards the shelf section containing fresh meat of super quality followed by Leon beside her. Doni can only follow Fiona from a distance while monitoring the movements of Fiona and the man who is with Fiona.
“I know you are a strong woman, however you must continue your life. You have to live happily. You mustn't drag on in grief. I know it's not easy for you, but there are still people around you who love you. I'm saying this because I've been through things that you're going through right now. I know what it feels like to be left behind by the person we love the most,” said Leon while gently rubbing his head shoulder.
Fiona was silent for a moment because of the sudden movement of Leon who rubbed his head. He raised his head then smiled at Leon who was currently looking at him with a serious face.
“Thank you Brother. I just need time to adjust. You don't have to worry. I won't do anything stupid,” said Fiona who caught a look of worry on her face.
Fiona continued pushing the trolley as she was done choosing meat and seafood. Doni was a little surprised when he saw the man was seen stroking Fiona's head. He squinted his eyes looking at the man. They look very familiar. He was worried about whether to report to his boss over what he saw in front of him.
“Shopping you want to go home directly or how?" leon asked as Fiona walked towards the cashier.
Fiona takes her trolley to one of the cashiers that looks empty. “I go straight home, there's still something I have to do.” Fiona put her leather goods on the cashier's desk.
