By the end of the day, Steven already had an appointment to meet with Sera at one of the restaurants downstairs. When he saw Steven was sitting in one of the restaurant chairs, Sera immediately smiled as she approached Steven.
"Steve, have you been waiting a long time?" ask Sera softly.
Steven raised his head then smiled when he saw Sera had just come. "No, sit down." Steven placed his phone on the table and turned to look at Sera while sitting leaning back.
"What do you want to drink?" asked Steven while putting the menu book in front of Sera.
Sera opened the menu book and looked at the menu list. "Cappucino," Sera replied.
Steven called the waiter and ordered drinks for them. "Steve, I'm so glad you invited me here alone. We haven't spent a long time together like this."
Since Steven had a relationship with Fiona, Steven has rarely met Sera. In the past, they often met just to talk. Steven also often accompanied Sera to various places if Sera asked for it.
"Sera, how long have we known each other?" Steven did not respond to Sera's remarks but instead he switched the conversation.
Sera's eyeballs stared towards the upper right while recalling something. "It seems, it's been 17 years," Sera replied, "why?"
Steven held a faint smile on his lips. "It's been a long time, too." Steven stared down while playing his fingers.
"Sera, as long as we know each other, have I ever done anything bad to you or unconsciously hurt you?"
"No, why?" Sera felt there was something strange about Steven's question.
"You know what Fiona means to me?" Again Steven did not answer Sera's question but rather allowed her to think for herself.
Sera silenced for a moment while looking deeply at Steven's eyeballs. "Yes, I know."
Steven turned his gaze to the side for a while while sighing. "Then why are you still teasing Fiona?" asked Steven in a heavy voice.
"I don't understand what you mean" Sera said.
"I already know everything Sera." Steven deliberately did not continue his speech to see the reaction from Sera. "You told people to put drugs in my drink and you told people to make Fiona faint and bring her back to her room, so I didn't suspect her and thought she was sleeping."
Sera's eyes grew bigger, and she immediately swallowed her saliva. He did not expect that Steven would easily find out about his actions.
"I don't care if you set me up, but haven't I warned you to never bother Fiona again?'
Sera was suddenly nervous. He was afraid that Steven would hate him for what he did. "Steve, I didn't mean to hurt, Fiona. I just don't want him to bother us. I'm sorry Steve. I know I was wrong. I just love you so much that I can't think clearly at that moment" Sera said with a guilty face.
"Sera, you should know what kind of person I am. Don't do anything I don't like."
Sera held Steven's arm. "Yeah, I know. I'm sorry this time, Steve. I promise I won't do it again" pleaded Sera with a wailing face. "I was wrong, please forgive me Steve."
Seeing Sera who was already sorry, Steven started to soften. "Well, I'll forgive you this time, but not next time. Never repeat it again."
Sera nodded. "Yes, thank you Steve."
"This thing, let us both know. I will not prolong this matter. I assume this problem is over. Don't ever reveal this and don't tell anyone, including Fiona."
"Good, Steve."
If Steven doesn't remember Sera's services to him and his mother, maybe Steven's already made calculations with Sera. After all this time, Sera had been very good to him and his mother. What's more, Sera was always beside him when he was down after Gwen disappeared.
Without Steven and Sera realizing it, it turns out that Fiona is standing behind the wall listening to all their talk from the beginning to the end.
Turns out you really care about Sera, Steve. You're still trying to protect her, even though you already know you're the one who caused me to faint and who set you up. It seems, Sera is indeed very important to you compared to me.
It's free for me to tell you that Sera was the mastermind of my kidnapping. You will definitely protect her, even if she tries to harm me. Steve, it turns out that in your heart Sera remains the most important. I should have realized from the beginning that I would never be able to defeat Sera.
Fiona looked sadly at Steven and Sera for a moment, after which she left the restaurant.
After Fiona's departure, Steven spoke again. "Sera, I'm asking you to never kick Fiona again, let alone harm her. I forgive your mistakes for seeing our good relationship all along, but if you still don't heed my warnings in the future, then don't blame me if I make calculations with you" Steven said firmly.
"Yeah, I promise I'll never bother Fiona again Steve" Sera said in a soft voice.
"Fiona is everything to me. In this world no one is more important than her, than my mother, so don't try to test the limits of my patience by teasing her."
*******
Since the incident at the pool, Steven hasn't seen Fiona again until nightfall. After meeting with Sera during the day, Steven returned to his room to sleep. In the afternoon he met his friend and chatted in the lounge on deck 7, which overlooks the outdoor pool.
At night, they move to deck 16 where the nightclub is located. It's called the white hot party. The sound of the music played by Dj sounded deafening, the atmosphere crowded and dim. Just a multicolored light beam shooting to and fro. A disco light seemed to rotate in the middle of the space.
Downstream people with clothes that vary in style, ranging from the usual, skimpy clothes to open backs, all pass in front of the eyes. The scents of perfumes, alcohol and cigarettes sting filled the breathing room.
Steven and his three friends were sitting at one of the tables, drinking alcohol while staring at the men and women who filled the dance floor who were moving and shaking his body in rhythm with the music played.
"Steve, look at the woman at the very end of the table, from the moment she looks at you, she seems to be attracted to you," william said in a high voice while directing his gaze to some beautiful women in skimpy clothes.
"It's not just the woman who's interested in Steven, look around us, they're all staring at him" Wilson said.
Actually, wherever Steven is, he's always been the center of attention. Her charm always managed to captivate the hearts of the beautiful women who had seen her.
"If I were you, I would have used my charms to ensnare the beautiful girls that were here" William said.
"Isn't she the youngest daughter of the owners of the Sensa Group?" erland said while staring at the woman who had previously stolen a glance at Steven.
The guests who came to William's event were mostly important people as well as people from the upper and influential circles. That is why, people who are in the club are also not just anyone.
"True, he's Mr. Frank's favorite son." William nudged Steven's arm that looked still indifferent. "Aren't you willing to give Mr Frank's son a chance to get to know you?" william Goda.
"Don't talk nonsense. I don't like getting randomly acquainted with just any woman."
"He's not a woman. She is the young lady of the Sensa group. How can you say that as if he were a commoner" William cried.
Steven looked indifferent, he grabbed a glass and drank it. "What does this have to do with me?"
William sighed with a frustrated face. "He likes you, at least you can get to know him first. Do I need to call Mr Frank's son here so you can chat with him?"
Steven glanced at William with a flat face. "Don't fuck around! I already have a lover."
"I also know, but it never hurts to just chat, anyway Fiona also chatted with another man this morning," said William.
Wilson immediately nudged Willian's arm when he saw Steven's gaze turning cold. "You'd better get acquainted with them if you want to become a widower soon" Steven sneered without looking at William.
"Siaaaal, I almost forgot that I was married. I'm sorry Angel. I'm not gonna fuck around."
Wilson and Erland chuckled at William's behavior. He asked Angel for permission to meet his three friends. He should have spent time with his wife as a newlywed, but he asked her to give him time to gather with his three friends because it was rare that they could get together in complete formation.
They were all busy people so they rarely met. Fortunately, Angel understood and allowed William to accompany his three friends. When the time showed at eleven p.m., Steven returned first to his room leaving his three friends who were still at home there.
"Steve, where have you been? I've called your phone a few times but you didn't pick up."
Fiona was standing in front of Steven's room when Steven had just arrived in front of his room.
"My phone's left inside." Steven opens the door and enters, followed by Fiona behind him.
"Where are you from? Why does your body smell like cigarette smoke and alcohol?" Fiona asked again when she had not yet received an answer from Steven.
"William took me to the club on the top deck" Steven replied as he walked into the closet, undressed and changed his clothes. She no longer felt awkward unclosing her clothes in front of Fiona.
"Steve, are you still mad at me for this morning's trouble?" ask Fiona carefully.
Finished wearing clothes, Steven approached Fiona who was standing by the bed. "No, I'm not angry," Steven replied gently.
"But why are you avoiding me today?"
Steven doesn't see Fiona all day, but he tells Erick to watch Fiona and deliver food on time for her.
"I'm not avoiding you. I thought, you might need some alone time and won't be bothered by me."
Steven walked towards the bed and sat down on the edge of the bed. "Go back to your room, it's night."
Tomorrow afternoon, the ship will be leaning on country C. That is why Steven told Fiona to rest enough so that she has the energy to travel in C country later.
"Can I sleep here tonight?" ask Fiona.
"Fio, you better sleep in your room. I was drunk tonight. I can't guarantee not to touch you if you sleep here tonight."
Fiona looked down with a disappointed face. Actually he was not disappointed because Steven did not allow him to sleep in his room, but he was disappointed because of Steven's cold attitude to him. "All right, I'll go back to my room." Fiona turned her body then walked towards the door with slow steps.
Actually, the reason he wanted to sleep in Steven's room was to talk about the misunderstanding between the two of them. He felt that Steven had avoided him since the incident earlier this morning, so he wanted to get it over with. He did not want the relationship to stretch just because it allowed the problem to drag on.
Before reaching the door, Fiona turned around and said, "Steve, between me and Sera, who are you going to choose when we both need you?"
Steven frowned in confusion at the question posed by Fiona. "What do you mean?"
You can't even answer an easy question from me, like, I'm not your seniority anymore.
Fiona smiled bitterly. "It's okay. I'm going back to my room." Fiona steps out and closes Steven's bedroom door.
Seeing something strange about Fiona, Steven followed her to her room. "What's wrong?" fiona asked when she had just opened the door to her room and saw Steven already standing at the door.
"I want to sleep with you tonight."
Seriate....
