Wedding Gifts from Steven's Mother

Fiona walked towards the door when she heard the sound of the bell ringing. Early in the morning she looked beautiful with her hair dyed up and wore a red knee-length dress that made Fiona's skin look brighter.

"Where are you going?" A sharp look was cast by Steven when he saw the appearance of Fiona who looked more beautiful than usual.

Fiona smiled stiffly. "Ayoo come in first." Fiona pulled Steven's hand before he asked another question again.

Fiona invited him to sit in the living room. "Why did you suddenly come here? Don't you have to work?" Fiona felt uncomfortable being stared at continuously by Steven without saying anything.

Steven raised the corner of his left seedling. "Why? Are you bothered by my arrival?"

Seeing Steven's ugly mood, Fiona moved to sit next to him. "It's not like that, soon work hours will start, you will be late to stop by here," said Fiona.

"My office is just across this apartment, after all, it's my company, no one would dare to be angry if I came late." Steven seems a little upset with Fiona. His tone was flat, not as usual.

Fiona held onto Steven's arm while smiling. "Yeah, I know. I'm just afraid you're late. I'm sorry, don't be mad anymore."

Fiona kisses Steven's cheek briefly to persuade him. Normally Steven would soften if Fiona did that, and it was evident after Fiona kissed her cheek, Steven's expression softened.

"You haven't answered my question, where are you going?"

"I'd like to see Jesy before you go to your mother's house."

Steven immediately squinted his eyes at Fiona. "Meet with Jesy or Leon?"

Steven of course remembered that Jesy was Leon's cousin. Leon is the man Steven is most jealous of since long ago, even they had a big fight just because of Leon.

"With Jesy, but I don't know if Leon's brother will come later either."

Last night, when Fiona called Jesy to ask him to meet, Jesy said he was at Leon's house. Fiona thinks maybe Jesy told Leon they'd meet.

Steven guessed that Leon would definitely come, even though they already had no relationship, Leon's feelings must still be the same towards Fiona.

Seeing Steven not responding, Fiona flanks Steven's arm. "Steve, I can't possibly avoid Brother Leon constantly. Before we got engaged, we were close. I just think of him like my brother, so don't think of anything."

"All right, whatever you want, do whatever you want." Steven stood up and walked out.

Fiona sighed when she saw Steven leaving with an angry face. Since he had promised Jesy, inevitably, he had to meet him. He couldn't have canceled it all of a sudden. Fiona finally decides to go meet with Jesy.

"Fio, you're so outrageous. How could you not tell me about your marriage" Jesy scolded when he just opened the door for Fiona. Fiona breezed in before hearing Jesy's longer scolding.

Looking at Fiona who was already sitting on the sofa, Jesy also sat down beside Fiona by folding both her hands under her chest. "Tell you, what excuse would you give me" said he, staring

"Sorry Jesy, I don't want to tell you, but I want to tell you directly. I'm sorry, okay?" persuade Fiona while shaking Jesy's shoulder.

"I was so happy when you got engaged to Leon's brother. I thought we were going to be a family" Jesy said with a disappointed face.

Jesy learns of Fiona and Steven's marriage to Leon when he meets his cousin after returning home to F.

"I'm sorry Jesy. I can't lie to my own feelings that the person I love is Steven. I can't replace him with another man, Jes."

Jesy showed his sullen face astray then exhaled his smooth breath. "Are you sure you want to make Steven your last port?"

"Yeah, I love her so much, Jes."

Jesy hugged Fiona tightly. "I hope you can live happily with her, Fio. No more tears than tears of happiness."

As Steven had guessed, Leon came by noon to Jesy's apartment. The three of them ended up spending the day exchanging stories until the afternoon.

As Fiona is about to return home, Leon offers to drive her. Fearing that Leon would be offended if she rejected her offer, Fiona finally allowed Leon to drive her to Steven's parents' mansion because her mother asked Fiona to come.

"You just got home?" steven's mother asked when she saw the new children coming when the time had shown at 8 pm.

"Did Mama miss us?" joked Bryan as he approached Isainta and sat down beside her.

"No. Mama just wondered why you guys just got home." Yesinta then turned to Steven who was leaning his body on the sofa while massaging his temple.

"Steve, Fiona was waiting for you to come home. He purposely cooked for you, even he did not allow our chef to help him" Yesinta explained.

Bryan reacted earlier than Steven. "Fiona is a dream wife. I think I should find a woman like her."

Steven glanced lazily at Bryan then sat up straight after that staring at his mother. "Then, where is he?"

Steven stands. "All right, I'll go to the room first."

"Sister, remember don't mess around! You're not married yet" Bryan shouted as he held back his smile.

Steven did not comment on Bryan's remarks and chose to continue walking towards his room. Steven walked into his room with slow steps when he saw Fiona sleeping in her bed. Seeing that Fiona is looking slumbering, Steven decides not to wake her up and chooses to take a bath.

"You awake?" Steven came out of the bathroom with only a towel wrapped around his waist.

"Yeah." Yeah."

Fiona turned her head for a moment towards Steven then turned her gaze back to the front after seeing him bare-chested. He held his heated and flushed face with both hands.

"I'll wait outside." Fiona quickly stood up.

Steven turned the corner of his lips when he saw Fiona who had turned back to the front with a embarrassed face. "Why go, weren't you deliberately waiting for me from earlier?" Fiona is shocked to find out that Steven is behind her.

"Yeah, you get changed. I'll wait downstairs." Without waiting for an answer from Steven, Fiona stepped up.

Steven swiftly caught up with her, locked the door and stood behind the door facing Fiona. "Steve, move. I'm going downstairs." Fiona's face panicked.

"You can't just walk away after you get into my room, Fio."

Fiona swallowed her saliva with her chest pounding erratically. "So mama told me to wait here, Steve. It wasn't me who came here on purpose" Fiona replied with a nervous face.

Steven walked forward and instantly Fiona reflexively retreated her footsteps backwards. "Stay you can't get out of here without my permission" Steven said.

"You-you... What do you want?" fiona asked nervously as she continued to rewind her footsteps quickly, after she looked back for a moment so that she would not stumble over something.

Steven smiled smirk. "This is my room so it's up to me to do what."

Fiona's face paled when she heard Steven's words. "Don't fuck Steve, Mama's coming here."

Fiona's footsteps came to a halt when she hit something until she almost fell backwards. Luckily he hit the edge of the bed so he sat on the edge of the bed.

"Mama herself told you to come here, so she definitely doesn't mind if we....."

"Stevee," cried Fiona, "we're getting married soon, wait until then. You can do anything afterwards. I won't ban you."

Intentions just want to prank Fiona, Steven was surprised to hear his words. Steven leaned over to look at Fiona up close. "Remember Fiona, you said so yourself, don't regret it later. I won't hold back after we get married because you asked for it yourself" Steven said, grinning.

The day went by so quickly, it did not feel like another 2 days Steven and Fiona's wedding day would be held. During these 3 days, Steven and Fiona never met again. They only communicate by phone, message, and vidio calls.

His mother forbade them to meet until the day their wedding arrived. Steven has also recently been busy finishing office work for a few days to the depam so he has plenty of time for his honeymoon after marriage.

This afternoon, Fiona has promised to meet Steven's mother. They plan to shop at one of the largest shopping malls in the city. Steven's mom said she wanted to buy him some presents for his wedding.

Finished in and out of many outlets with well-known brands and buy a lot of goods. Steven's mother took him to one of the specialty lingerie stores.

"Fiona, what do you think? It seems to suit you." Unashamedly, Steven's mother shows Fiona a very thin red and black lingerie.

Fiona's face turned red. "What's not too thin, Ma."

Yesinta smiled while hearing Fiona's words. "If the material is thick, it's called Fiona's nightgown." Steven's mother's reply made the store clerk stare at her smile.

"But Ma, if I wear that, it's the same as if I'm not wearing anything" Fiona said with a shy face.

"That's the point. You have to impress Steven with you on your first night so you can quickly give your mother a grandchild, so that you won't be lonely at home." Steven's mother doesn't seem shy about talking about it in front of others.

Oh, my God, mama, why is he so blunt, I'm so embarrassed. I can't imagine what Steven's expression would be when I see me wearing that lingerie. Just imagining it gives me goosebumps.....

Steven's mother looked at the clerk of the store. "Please pack that one, this one and that one, too" Mother Steven pointed out.

"Good Mistress."

If I were to wear that, Steven would think that I would deliberately want to tease him. How'this? I'm very embarrassed to wear it, but I can't possibly refuse my mother's hand.

Fiona was speechless when she saw the clerk take various models of lingerie that had been wrapped neatly and put in a shopping bag.
