Fiona's Return

Fiona's mother's step stopped when she saw her son who had disappeared for several days was seen sitting at the dining table. The night Fiona came home. He was in his room and did not know about his son's return. She just found out from her housekeeper that Fiona's back.

“Finally you're home too. Where have you been all this time?” Sarah stared angrily at her son.

Fiona turned her head to the middle-aged woman who was standing not far from where she was sitting. “I stay at a friend's house, Ma.”

Fiona looked scared at her mother. He squeezed his hands firmly when he saw his mother's sharp gaze. He tried to hide his nervousness.

He was forced to lie because he did not want his mother to know that he was staying at Steven's house, as long as he did not return home. He just didn't want to drag Steven back into their troubles.

“Do you think mom will believe? Are you staying with your girlfriend?”

Fiona's mother won't believe her son's words. Sarah suddenly remembers the man who claimed to be Fiona's lover and who helped Fiona while in the hospital.

At first Sarah doesn't care about Fiona not coming home after their last meeting in the hospital. He thinks that Fiona might be staying at Jesi's house. Sarah seems to know it's her son's habit if they've been arguing.

Fiona is trying to control herself. Somehow he didn't like to hear his mother insulting Steven all the time.

Sarah stood up. “You must be wrong. There's no way my husband would give all his possessions to Fiona.” Sarah was immediately emotional when she heard her husband's will.
