Waiting for Him Consciously

Erick, who had just wanted to get into the ICU room, came to a halt when he saw his boss pounding on Fiona in a hurry. He was amazed by his boss's behavior. He even rubbed his eyes a few times to confirm what he had seen just now.

Erick was silent for a while. He was very surprised when he saw his boss holding a woman he just knew. The reason, his boss never cared about any woman so far.

How can a woman who has just been met today, can get special treatment from her boss. He was astonished at his boss's behavior today. After canceling the meeting, he now even banged himself on the woman. His boss is not the type of person who likes to waste his time on people he does not know.

After being on IGD, Steven placed Fiona's body carefully in the patient's bed. He then asked the doctor to check on him immediately. He was standing not far from Fiona and was watching the doctor who was checking Fiona's condition.

"Sir, sorry to bother you. The big lady called and asked where you were. The big madam asked the Master to contact her immediately." Erick spoke slowly to Steven.

"Did you tell my mom I was here?" Steven glanced at Erick at a glance.

"No Sir. I'm just saying that you have important needs, so you can't be bothered for now."

"Good, don't tell my mom anything. I'll take care of it later." Steven turned his gaze again to Fiona.

"Okay sir" said Erick, nodding his head, "I found this left in the ICU room, sir." Erick handed over the paperbag that Steven had requested.

Steven looked over and reached out to take it. "You're taking care of this woman's move to the treatment room. There are too many people here, it is not comfortable for him to be here for too long. Order a VVIP room for him," Steven ordered to Erick.

Erick poked for a moment. Today, he was constantly surprised by Steven's attitude. He realized there was something strange about his boss today. Did his boss' head hit? Or is the boss taking the wrong medication? I don't know, that's why there's so much weirdness being shown today.

Steven who realized there was no movement from Erick then turned his head and said, "Why are you still here? Didn't you hear what I just told you?" 

Erick immediately came to a realization from his shock. "Sorry sir, I'll take care of it right away." Erick walked quickly out of the IGD room.

"Are you a patient's family?" ask the doctor who examined Fiona earlier and is currently standing in front of Steven. 

"No" replied Steven short. 

The doctor's eyebrows pucker up. "Well, if that's the case, I'll have the nurse call her family." The doctor wanted to walk but was stopped by Steven. 

"Is there anything serious about him?" ask Steven. 

The doctor looked at Steven in surprise. "Don't you say it wasn't his family? I can't tell you then."

Steven's blocking the doctor who's going through it. "I'm not his family, but I'm his girlfriend."

The doctor was a little surprised. "Why didn't you say that earlier. He was just exhausted, his body was weak, probably because he had not eaten yet. Plus wet clothes that are too long attached to his body. She was also shaken. As her lover, you should pay more attention to her. You shouldn't let him rain and wear wet clothes without replacing them" the doctor said at length, shaking his head. 

"Sorry Doctor, I'll pay more attention to it" Steven said. 

Erick, who had just finished taking care of room administration for Fiona, was again stunned when he heard Steven apologize to the doctor.

“Did that doctor not know Steven? Has he gone crazy how dare he nag my boss? If he knew who my boss really was, he would definitely tremble with a pale face" Erick murmured inwardly.

Erick then walked over to his boss. "Sir, I've taken care of the room for this lady" Erick said.

Steven looked over for a moment. "Seek the nurse to move it right now and ask the nurse to change the woman's clothes with the clothes you were carrying" Steven ordered quickly.

"Good, Sir." Erick walked away leaving Steven still standing looking at Fiona.

After a while the nurse arrives and immediately moves Fiona to the treatment room followed by Steven and Erick from behind.

Right now, they were standing at the door of Fiona's VVIP room, the nurse was changing her wet clothes with the clothes Erick had just bought.

Steven and Erick turned their heads when the door opened. A nurse just came out of the room. "It's over, sir, you can come in now" said the nurse politely.

"Thank you" said Erick.

Steven sat down on the chair beside Fiona's bed. He just silently looked at Fiona's pale face.

Erick watched his boss's movements from a distance. He did not dare to approach let alone disturb his boss. He chose to sit on the sofa waiting for orders from his boss.

As Steven looked at Fiona's face, his hands began to stretch out to Fiona's face trying to tidy up the hair that covered part of her face. He could only pay attention to the details of the woman's face in front of him. Plain face, pointed nose, thick eyebrows, thin lips that look pale. There was a strange feeling that was felt when he looked at the woman in front of him.

Steven turned his eyes to Erick. "Rick, find out who his family is. Call them immediately." Erick immediately stood up after hearing his boss' orders.

"Good sir." Erick then walked out of the room.

Steven decided to walk to the couch. He wanted to break down his tired body, for some reason today he had absolutely no spirit. After sitting down, Steven leaned back and closed his eyes. 

When Erick came back, he saw his boss was closing his eyes. He walked very slowly because he was afraid to wake his boss. He then sat down on the sofa that was beside Steven.

Half an hour was waiting for his boss. There was no movement at all from Steven earlier. Erick just kept quiet while looking at his boss. Not usually the boss can sleep when like this. Even his boss was used to overtime, and only slept a few hours.

"Have you contacted his family?"

Steven's hoarse voice suddenly broke Erick's daydream and Langsubf changed his sitting position when he saw Steven had just opened his eyes.

"Hospital authorities have contacted his family about his father's death. I've also asked the nurse to tell her family that Miss Fiona is being cared for in this room" Erick said.

"Fiona? Is Fiona the girl's name?" Steven looked at Fiona from a distance.

Erick nodded quickly. "Truly Sir. He's the second son of the Widhiawangsa family."

Steven's forehead shriveled for a moment. "Widhiro?"

"Right sir," Erick replied as he nodded steadily.

"Have his family arrived?" ask Steven again.

"Not yet Sir. They're on their way out of town. It might take 2 hours" Erick explained.

Seeing that Steven was just silent, Erick said again, "Will Master leave? I can ask the nurse to standby to keep Miss Fiona here."

Steven stands. "No need, I'll take care of him. You go buy him a meal." Steven was back in the chair next to Fiona's bed.

"Good, Sir." Erick immediately left the room.

Steven turned his head as Erick returned to Fiona's room with fruit and plenty of food. He sat down on the table, then sat back on the couch.

"Master can eat first while waiting for Miss Fiona to wake up. It's past lunch hour" Erick reminded.

"You eat first, lest you also faint. I don't want to be bothered by you. I'll eat after he wakes up" said Steven, who turned his eyes to Fiona.

"Good sir." Erick starts eating without refuting his boss.

Seeing movement from Fiona's bed, Steven rushed to her. "You're sober?" steven asked as he looked at Fiona's open eyes.
