Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart
The Bitter Reality

After the door closed, Steven walked over to Violita and hugged her tightly. "I finally found you, you're here, I've been looking everywhere for you. I miss you so much, Fio."

Fiona's body stiffened instantly as she felt a tight hug from Steven, her eyes glazed with a loud heartbeat. For a moment Fiona sank into the warm embrace of Steven.

"Sir Steven, what are you doing? Please let me go." Fiona tries to push Steven's body, but can't because she hugs him very tightly.

"Fiona, I'm sorry, I was wrong. Please don't go again." Steven hid his face in the recess of Fiona's neck.

"I'm Violita not Fiona, you're Steven's fault." Fiona pushed Steven's body strongly.

Steven flinched as his body moved away from Fiona. "Fiona, I know you're still angry, I'm sorry for my attitude...."

"Didn't you hear what I said? I said I'm not Fiona." He grabbed his bag quickly then turned to look at Steven.

"I'm sorry, I can't continue this conversation, I have to go. I will send another representative to discuss this cooperation." Finished talking Fiona straight out of the meeting room while running.

Steven seems surprised by the reaction of Fiona who pretends not to know him. His heart also felt pain to see Fiona who seemed to not like being close to him. When she was already aware of her shock, she stepped out to catch up with Fiona.

"Where are you going?" Bryan stops Steven when he gets out of his office lobby. Steven's gaze continued to be on Fiona, he saw Fiona had just gotten into a car parked in front of Bryan's office building.

Steven looked at Bryan. "Give me the keys to your car quickly" Steven asked impatiently as he turned his hand to Bryan.

"For what?" Although he was surprised, but Bryan still took out the car keys and handed it to Steven.

"I have a need." Steven grabbed the key and walked toward Bryan's car. He drove his car at high speed to catch up with Fiona's car that had already driven first.

Steven kept following Fiona's car from behind until it stopped at a towering office building that read GSK Group. Steven parked his car in front of the building near the entrance when he saw Fiona had entered his office.

Steven accidentally does not catch up with Fiona into his office because he wants to give Fiona time to calm herself down. He realized that Fiona must not be able to forgive him. If she still insisted on talking to Fiona, it was not impossible that Fiona would hate her even more later.

Steven stays in his car for almost 3 hours until Fiona comes out with a man Steven knows is Reynald. Steven was surprised how Reynlad was able to be with Fiona while he was away with Leon.

Has Reynlad been hiding Fiona from her all along? But, if he's been with Reynald all this time, then where's Leon? He also can't find Leon's whereabouts after Fiona disappears.

Steven decides to follow back where Fiona will go with Reynald, he has decided to follow Fiona until she returns home. She must know where Fiona lives so that she'll find it easier if she wants to see him. He doesn't want to lose track of Fiona again.

After following Fiona for almost an hour, Fiona's car stops at one of the big houses in one of the city's elite neighborhoods. Steven sees Fiona go down along with Reynald and goes inside.

It is undeniable that Steven feels jealous and his chest feels hot when he sees Fiona's closeness with Reynald. Reynald did not even hesitate to embrace Fiona's shoulder when walking into the house.

After the door closed, Steven exhaled a long breath, trying to calm himself when his chest felt tight when he saw Fiona looked very close to Reynald. It hurts to see Fiona be happy without her.

Fiona, is this why you never came back, because you were happy with someone else? It seems so easy for you to forget me. As for me, there is not even a single day I missed without thinking about you. Is this karma to me for hurting you?

The next day, Steven returns to Fiona's office after returning home. Steven can't meet with Fiona anymore for work because Fiona has sent her representative to Bryan's office. That's why Steven decided to go to Fiona's office to meet her.

"Fiona, wait. I want to talk to you!" Steven stopped Fiona when he saw her just coming out of his office.

Fiona looked coldly at Steven. "Sorry Mr. Steven, I don't think there's anything else we can talk about. Sorry I have to go." Fiona walked past Steven at a quick pace.

Steven turned to chase Fiona. "Wait, please give me a chance to talk for a while Fio." Steven held Fiona's hand for her to stop stepping.

"Please let go of me, or I'll scream" Fiona said with an angry look.

"Yell, I don't care. I won't stop coming to you before you give me a chance to talk." Steven doesn't seem to be afraid of Fiona's bluff. He was still holding onto Fiona's wrist, it seemed like he had no intention of letting go.

"Master Steven, please let me go." Fiona stared intently at Steven who was standing in front of her.

"What's this?" A man's voice breaks the tension between Steven and Fiona. The two of them turned towards the voice.

"Mr Steven, it's you. I guess who." Leon steps closer to Fiona and Steven. "Did my fiancee make a mistake with you?" Leon stared at Steven and then turned to look at Fiona's hand which was still held by Steven.

"Sister, you misunderstood me, I can explain." Fiona immediately threw Steven's hand and stood beside Leon while flanking his arm.

Leon smiled as he looked at Fiona. "I believe you." Leon stroked Fiona's hand which was holding her arm. While Steven was still silently sculpting, he was completely shocked after hearing Leon's words.

"If there's nothing else you want to talk about, then, we'll say goodbye."

As Leon and Fiona were about to step up, Steven immediately said, "Wait!"

"What's wrong?" Leon asked as he looked towards Steven.

"I want to talk to Fiona for a second" Steven said.

Leon looked to the side. "Vio, do you want to talk to him?" ask Leon gently.

Fiona shakes. "No. We better go home." Fiona immediately pulled Leon's hand to leave immediately.

Steven was speechless with a surprised face and a disappointed look. He kept staring at the departure of Leon and Fiona with a devastated feeling. She did not expect that Fiona would not talk to her, even if it was only for a short while.

That night, at 10 p.m., Steven came back to Fiona's house. This time, she is determined not to go home before Fiona gives her a chance to talk.

Steven's heart was pounding as he rang the bell of Fiona's house. I don't know why he's so nervous right now. Several times Steven pressed the bell, but the door had not yet opened, after waiting for a while, the door finally opened.

"Where do you know I live here?" Fiona was shocked to see Steven standing in front of her.

"Fio, I want to talk to you." Steven ignored Fiona's question.

"Sorry, I can't, please don't bother me anymore. Get out of here." As Fiona was about to close the door, Steven held the door with his left hand and foot.

"I won't be home until you let me in and talk to you." Steven looked at Fiona with a serious face.

"If you don't want to go, I will...."

"Yelling?" reset Steven. "Please if you really want to scream" continued Steven again. "Fiona, I could've taken you out of here without anyone knowing if I wanted to. But I don't want to do it because I respect you. I just need a minute to talk to you."

Fiona turned her gaze to the side when she saw Steven staring into her eyes. After thinking for a moment Fiona finally let Steven in. He knew that Steven would never stop seeing him before he gave him a chance to talk.

"All right, come in." Fiona walked first towards the living room.

Steven was stunned for a moment when he saw a big size figura hanging in Fiona's living room. Inside the figura is a photo of Fiona being embraced by Leon from behind with a friendly look. Both of them smile happily.

"Please sit down."

Fiona is nervous when she realizes that Steven is staring at a picture of her and Leon. There was an uneasy feeling in his heart when he saw the disappointed face of Steven.

"So, are you really engaged to her?"

Fiona's tongue felt faint at once, she was unable to answer Steven's question. Steven's question made Fiona's chest feel tight. For some reason, seeing Steven's sad face made him feel guilty.

Seeing Fiona sitting speechless, Steven then sat down in front of Fiona. "Fiona, is there no place for me in your heart?"

Steven's gaze implied a deep disappointment.

While Fiona firmly grasped both her hands that began to tremble, her eyes began to glaze over upon hearing Steven's question.
