Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart

Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart
Not Worth It for You

"What's wrong, Ma? Why did you ask me that?"

"It's okay." Steven's mother's face turned indifferent.

"Aunt Mey," call Steven's mom.

Aunt Mey stepped quickly towards the dining room. "Yes, Madam."

"Prepare for dinner" Steven's mother ordered.

"Okay, Madam." Aunt Mey walked towards the kitchen, while Steven looked at his mother with a probing gaze.

Moments later, Mey's aunt came in with a food trolley along with five other waiters and arranged the food at the dinner table.

Once the food is all served, they start with the dinner. Fiona looked still awkward, she ate very carefully. Without him realizing that Steven's mother was still stealing glances at him.

"Fiona, how long have you known Steven?" Yesinta looked at Fiona after they finished the night tomb.

"It's been 2.5 years, Auntie," Fiona replied politely.

"How do you know each other?"

"Steven helped me when my father died" Fiona replied honestly.

"So, your father is dead?"

"Yeah," Fiona replied while nodding.

"Then what about your mother?"

"My mom is dead too." Fiona tried to answer him firmly. The fact that right now, he had no one back made him sad.

"So you don't have any parents?"

"Yeah right," Fiona replied while nodding.

"Then who have you been living with?"

"With my foster mother and sister."

"Lifting mother?" asked Steven's mother with a surprised face.

"When I was born I was immediately adopted by a family because my mother died after giving birth to me. While my father died before I was born," Fiona said with a sad face.

Steven's mother turned to look at her son. "Do you know about this?"

"Yeah, Mom. I know."

Steven's mother stood looking at her son. "Steven, mommy wants to talk to you for a second. Come with mama." Yesinta immediately walked out of the dining room without waiting for an answer from her son.

Steven stood up and bowed while holding Fiona's shoulder. "You wait here first, don't go anywhere. I'll be right back."

"Yeah" said Fiona, nodding.

Steven walked up to his mother to the reading room. When Steven walked in, his mother immediately turned around and approached her son. "You know that already but you're still in a relationship with Fiona?"

"Ma, that doesn't matter to me. There's nothing wrong with him."

"Mama doesn't agree with your relationship. You better end your relationship with her."

"What's the reason you disagree with Fiona? Is it because of her time?"

"He doesn't deserve you."

"Not worth it in terms of what, Ma?" asked Steven while holding back his anger.

"Did he know who you were? You can't just look for your life partner Steve. You're the heir to HK Group" said Dave's mother in a slightly elevated tone.

Steven squinted his eyes. "Are you sure that's the reason, not because there's another reason?"

"Mama did it for your own good. Rather than with Fiona, you'd better be with Sera."

Steven looked down and then raised his head to stare carelessly in the direction after that just looked at his mother. "Ma, I don't love Sera. Fiona was able to shake my heart, even the first time I saw her. And, that's never how I felt when I was with Sera" Steven explained.

"Can't you support me?" asked Steven expectantly.

"Mama can make him stay away from you if you want, Steve. So, don't try to defy mom."

"That means mama wants to see my life fall apart."

Steven's mother turned her back, turned her back and turned her head slightly back. "Have you forgotten Gwen?"

"Ma, that's just massalu. I don't want to remember it anymore."

"Alright, then we'll finish this conversation. You better get Fiona home. It's already night."

Steven sighed. "Ma, I beg you. Don't interfere with my business with Fiona. Let me make my own choice."

Steven's mother was silent and did not pry into his son's words. "I'll go first."

Steven stepped out of the reading room towards the dining room.

"Let's go home," Steven asked as he pulled Fiona's hand.

Fiona held Steven's hand. "But I haven't said goodbye to your mother" Fiona said as she looked at Steven standing next to her.

"All right." Steven pulled Fiona out. Throughout the journey no one spoke at all. They are busy with their own thoughts.

Arriving at the mansion, Steve tells Doni and Erick to put Fiona's belongings in the living room.

"Fio, go to your room. I want to talk to Erick first."

Fiona nodded. After thanking Doni and Erick, Fiona Naek and above.

Steven turned to look at Doni. "You can go home. Tomorrow come back here again" Steven ordered.

"Good, Sir."

"Rick, come with me to my office."

"Good, Sir." Erick followed Steven to his study. Steven's face looked very serious. Erick figured something must have happened over dinner with his mother.

"Did you know the guy Fiona was with?" steven asked as he was just sitting at his desk styling Erick who was already standing in front of him.

Fiona doesn't know that Steven and Erick saw her while talking to Reynald. Steven and Erick did catch up with Fiona to the toilet because they were worried about Fiona not coming back.

Seeing Fiona look very familiar with Reynald makes Steven's chest hot. Enraged, Steven immediately left the place so that Fiona did not know that she had caught up with him.

"Yes, Sir. He's Mr. Reynald, owner of the Retzh Group."

"Is he the guy you reported was approaching Fiona?"

While still abroad, Erick does have time to watch Fiona and report to Steven, before Steven tells Erick to no longer keep an eye on Fiona. "Yes, Sir."

"Have they ever been in a relationship?"

"Never, sir," Erick replied quickly. "Do I need to investigate Mr Reynald?"

"no need. Let it go." Steven looked pensive for a moment. "You can go home."

"Good, Sir." Erick stepped out of the room, while Steven looked down and rubbed his face rough

Steven walked to the glass window of his study. It was seen that heavy rain began to fall accompanied by lightning and thunderous lightning. Steven was silent as he looked outwards while thinking.

A little while later, Steven walked out of the study room towards his room to clean his body. After the shower, Steven sat on the bed holding his phone. Not long after, there was a knock on the door.

Steven got out of bed and walked towards the door.

"Steve, I want to talk to you for a minute" Fiona said as Steven opened the door.

"Come in."

"Can we just talk outside?" ask Fiona in a soft voice.

Steven who had just intended to step up, instantly turned back to look at Fiona with a look of astonishment.

"Why? Aren't you used to come into my room? Are you scared of me now?"

"No, that's not what I meant. I just...."

Fiona's eyes widened as Steven pulled out his hand and then closed his body against the wall after Steven closed the door of his room.

"Steve," Fiona said in a low voice while looking down.

Steven cages Fiona with both hands resting on a stick closer to Fiona. "Do you now intend to avoid me because you already have a new resting place?"

Fiona's brows fused together, she then raised her face looking at Steven with a face that looked puzzled. "What do you mean?"

"After Leon and Reynald. Fiona, don't try to test my patience. I'm not a patient person, Fio."

"I don't understand what you mean, Steve." Fiona turned her gaze to the side as she felt their faces very close. Instantly he was nervous.

"Reynald, do you like it?" ask Steven the point.

"How did you know about Reynald?" Instead of answering, Fiona asked Steven a question.

"The answer is my question" Steven said in a heavy voice.

"We were just friends with Steve. I don't like it" Fiona replied with a bow.

"Don't try to be close to another man." Steven looked down at Fiona who was still down.

"Why indeed?" Fiona ventured to ask Steven even though his voice sounded small.

"I don't like you being close to other men" Steven said in a heavy voice.

"Why?"

"Do you really want to know the answer?"

"Yeah" Fiona replied in a soft voice.

Steven smiled at his smile. "Because...." Steven grabbed Fiona's chin, looked at her and brought their faces closer together.

Fiona was immediately nervous when she saw their faces that were barely any distance away anymore. Fiona held her breath and reflexively closed her eyes while tightly squeezing the edges of her clothes.

Seriate...
