The time had already shown at 4pm, Fiona immediately rushed to get downstairs. Doni's been calling him if he's waiting for the parking lot in front of his office building.

When Fiona was in front of the loby someone approached her. "Fiona."

Fiona was slightly surprised to see the man in front of her. He looked left and right, like he was looking for someone. "Sister Leon, why are you here?" fiona asked with her eyebrows intertwined.

"I want to talk to you, it's important."

"How about tomorrow we just talk, brother? I have an appointment." Fiona is unlikely to break her promise to Steven for dinner because she was the one who invited him.

"I only need an hour. I can't see you tomorrow because I have to get out of town" Leon said with a serious face.

Fiona held a moment of Leon's words. "All right, wait a minute."

Leon nodded while looking at Fiona who was seen walking away from him while calling someone.

A few minutes later, Fiona came back to Leon. "Where are we gonna talk?"

"At the cafe near here, just" proposes Leon.

Fiona nods and walks with Leon to her car. Leon decides to take Fiona to a cafe located right across from Fiona's office.

"What do you want to order?" Leon looked at Fiona after he finished looking at the menu book.

"Coffe latte." Fiona closes the menu after ordering a drink.

"You don't want to eat?"

Fiona shook her head quickly. "No Brother."

Leon nodded then called a cafe employee and ordered 2 drinks for the two of them. "What does Brother want to talk to me about?"

Fiona has little time to talk to Leon. He didn't want to waste his time because he had to leave immediately.

"Your mom said you ran away from home with a guy? Is that true?"

"Mama called Brother?"

"No, yesterday I went to your house, and your mother said you left the house. Your mother said you lived with a man, is that true?"

Fiona sighed. "Yes, that's right."

Leon looked into Fiona's eyes. "If you have a problem you shouldn't leave the house and go with a stranger. Everything can be discussed."

"I'm not going with a foreign man Brother.I'm going with Steven."

"Steven again?" Leon doesn't like Steven.

"When your father died you lived with him, now you live with him again. Fiona, you've changed." Looks like Leon's disappointed with Fiona."

"When you had a problem, you always came to me and Jesy, if you had a fight with your mother, you stayed at Jesy's house or stayed at my house with Jesy. Now why do you so easily live with a man you don't even know very well. What exactly do you think of me as?"

"Sister, I have a reason why I went with Steven. I did intend to tell Brother and Jesy after I finished my family business."

"Follow me home. I won't let you stay with him. You can explain everything to me later."

Fiona started to panic at seeing Leon's angry face. "I'll tell you everything, but I can't go with you right now."

"You can't stay with him anymore. Anyway I'm your lover, regardless of us having a show or not but you're still my lover so I don't agree you're staying with him."

"Fiona... What are you doing here?" Hearing Fiona's familiar voice immediately turned to face Leon.

"Steve," said Fiona with a surprised face.

Steven walked over to Fiona and grabbed her hand. "Follow me." Without waiting for Fiona's approval, Steven immediately withdrew his hand.

"Steve, wait a minute. I'm not done talking to Leon's sister" Fiona said with a panicked face.

"You can't take him. He'll come with me." Leon holds Steven's hand holding Fiona's hand to stop Steven from taking Fiona away.

Steven looked at Leon. "Don't interfere in my business." Steven looked at Leon with a look of obstruction.

"Fiona is my lover. You can't just take her away without my consent. I think I told you before at the party."

"Enough, you don't argue here." Fiona attempts to mediate between Steven and Leon.

Steven smiled cynically. "Fiona told me you were just playing a show. Don't be so confident, he doesn't love you." Steven threw Leon's hand and pulled Fiona's hand back into the parking lot.

Before reaching the parking lot, Fiona restrains her steps so Steven can't pull her back. "Steve, please give me some time to talk to Leon. I have to explain to him what really happened. You better go home. We'll see you later tonight."

Steven stopped the ledge and turned to look at Fiona. "You're telling me to leave?"

"Steve, I need to talk to Leon first. I can't just walk away without explaining the problem to Leon."

"So you'd rather be with her than me?" steven asked with furrowed brows and a disappointed look.

"It's not so Steve, please understand my position. Brother Leon will definitely come looking for me at your mansion if I don't explain to him."

"Why did you explain to him, he's not your family" Steven said with a dislike.

"Steve, before I met you, he was the one who always protected me. He's like my family Steve. I can't just go and ignore it."

"You...." Fiona hung up her words.

Seeing him unable to answer his question, Steven said, "Alright, I understand. Go." Steven takes Fiona's hand off and leaves.

Fiona stared sadly at Steven, waiting for him to disappear from her sight and then back inside.

At 7 p.m., Fiona returns to Steven's mansion with Leon having told her everything. At first Leon disagrees that Fiona is returning to Steven's mansion but Fiona says that if she will soon move out of Steven's mansion, Leon finally agrees.

Fiona walks into Steven's room but finds no whereabouts. Fiona then calls Steven many times but is not picked up, she then sends a message. After waiting for about 15 minutes, Steven replied and said he had business and would not go home. Fiona decided to talk to Steven tomorrow morning.

Somewhere, Steven was sitting in front of a bar table holding a glass filled with low-alcoholic beverages. "Master, Miss Fiona called you." Erick holds Steven's phone that was tipped by his boss.

Steven placed the glass on the table then glanced with no interest at Erick. "Leave it."

Steven looked back to the front, raised his glass and drank it. "What about the restaurant reservation, sir?"

Earlier this morning, Steven asked Erick to reserve a table at one of the city's famous restaurants for a night out with Fiona.

"Cancel" Steven said without glancing at Erick.

"Then what about the surprise you've prepared as well as the ring?"

"Cancel everything" Steven said indifferently. He went back to drinking the drink in his glass. "The ring is for you, if you don't want it, you can throw it away or sell it."

Dumped it? Of course I'm not as crazy as you who would throw away a high-value object. These are specially ordered rings and they are not cheap. I can buy a luxury house with this ring.

"Didn't you have been preparing for this for a long time? Why did you cancel it?"

Steven rubbed his face rough. "Do you want me to embarrass myself and beg for love with him? I also have Rick's self-esteem."

"But at least you tell her how you feel."

"That's it. Don't talk about it anymore."

In the morning, Fiona awaits Steven's arrival in the living room. "Good morning Miss Fiona, I asked Mr. Steven to deliver Miss to the office." Doni has just come and is standing in front of him.

Fiona stood up. "Steven where to? Didn't he come?" ask Fiona curiously.

"Mr Steven's not here, miss. Mr. Steven went straight to the office."

Fiona looks disappointed. "All right."

"Let's Miss." Doni directs his hand out to let Fiona walk first. Fiona nodded then walked out.

Fiona sends Steven a message to ask him to come to the mansion later tonight but Steven says he can't come because there is an important event. Fiona finally asks Steven to meet her the next day and Steven agrees.

Tonight, Fiona already has an appointment to meet with Reynald to attend the acaea that Reynald told her the other day. After preparing, Fiona heads to Reynald's office. He accidentally met there because it was closer than the party venue.

"Hi, Fiona. You're beautiful tonight" Reynlad praised when he saw Fiona's graceful and elegant appearance in a white dress.

Fiona smiled awkwardly. "I just don't want to embarrass you. You said this event was attended by important and big people. How could I look ordinary."

Reynlad was delighted that Fiona was thinking about her image. "All right, then we'll go right away."

Fiona glorifies "Yes."

Arriving at the venue, Fiona and Reynald enter immediately and are greeted with several Reynald business associates. They talked while standing up.

Fiona was more silent while opening her mouth when asked. After speaking, Reynlad again invited Fiona to meet with other business partners.

When Reynlald was talking to her business partner, Fiona accidentally saw Steven standing not far from her and was staring coldly at her.

"Steve," murmured Fiona inwardly. His face looked disappointed when he saw a woman standing next to him flanking Steven's arm affectionately.

Both Steven and Fiona did not greet each other, they just stared at each other from where they were standing until Steven finally left together with the woman beside him.

So, this is what you said there was important business so you wouldn't see me. It turns out you're having fun here.

Fiona smiled bitterly. I was a fool for thinking you liked me.

"Rey, I'm sorry to go to the toilet first."

Reynlad called Fiona for a moment. "Do I need to drive you?"

"No, you just wait here."

"All right."

After asking where the toilet was located on one of the servants, Fiona walked carefully while holding the dress she was wearing.

Not yet in the toilet, Fiona is shocked when her hand is pulled by someone. "Follow me."
