The atmosphere at night in the ballroom of Raffles hotel seems to be crowded. All the guests are present. From the family of women have also been waiting since, but from the men there are no signs yet to come.

The women were already seen getting impatient waiting for the arrival of the men. Sarah, Cindy and Fiona also look worried and anxious waiting for the arrival of Steven and his family after they waited for almost 2 hours.

The proposal should have been held at 7 pm, but until 9 pm the men had not yet appeared. Some of the invited guests had already started to unsettle and whisper. Fiona repeatedly tries to call Steven's phone number, but is inactive. Unpleasant premonitions began to overwhelm his feelings.

"Fio, how, can Steven be contacted?" Cindy approached Fiona who was sitting in the waiting room in the ballroom.

Sarah who had just walked into the waiting room, immediately said, "Fiona, try to call Steven's mom." He also started to worry because he had waited too long. Some guests began to question when the event would begin.

"Yes Ma." Fiona picks up her phone and calls Steven's mom. Several times he tried to call but was not picked up.

Shortly afterwards Steven's mother and some of his relatives were seen entering the ballroom and heading to the room where Fiona was. "Fiona, Steven's missing." Steven's mother's words succeeded in making Fiona and her family surprised.

"Help me find him, have Jorsh deploy all his men to search for Steven."

The time continues until the time shows at 11 p.m. All the guests and relatives had gone home, only a few people were left. The application has been canceled because Steven did not come and there is no news from him.

Fiona was still sitting in her place. He just kept quiet with a blank look. Cindy and her mother had persuaded her to go home several times, but Fiona refused. He wanted to stay there waiting for Steven to arrive.

"Fio, stand up, we better go home now."

Leon eventually approaches Fiona to persuade her of not being able to bear the sight of Fiona forcing herself to stay there.

"Sister, I want to stay here, I'll wait until he comes." Finally Fiona opened her mouth after a long silence.

"Something I want to talk about." Steven helps Fiona stand up and pulls Fiona's hand towards the door.

"You can't take him away after you humiliate him." Leon stops Steven at the door so he can't take Fiona.

Steven's gaze flashed. "Don't interfere in my business."

"Did you hear that? Get out of my face." Steven immediately pulls Fiona's hand past Leon.

On the way Fiona just silently follows where Steven took her. This is the first time Steven has brought his own car. Erick would drive him wherever he went. There was no chatter between them until the car stopped right in front of Steven's mansion.

"Why did you just arrive when the proposal was canceled? Are you intentionally trying to embarrass me?" Fiona finally opened her voice to break the silence between the two of them after they were silent for quite a while.

Steven was still silent as he looked ahead while putting his right hand on the steering wheel. "Didn't you bring me here to talk about our relationship?" fiona again. He reopened his voice when he saw Steven was still silent.

"Fiona, did you see the last moment before Gwen breathed out?"

Instantly Fiona felt her chest hit by a boulder when she heard Steven say. It turned out that all he thought about was Gwen. He thought Steven was thinking about the continuation of their relationship.

Steven's apology has already answered questions from Fiona regarding the continuity of their relationship. Fiona opens her phone screen and contacts someone.

Finished calling someone, Fiona said, "Alright, I get it." Fiona tried hard to hold back her tears. "Steve, once again I'm sorry for Gwen's passing. If I could choose, I would exchange my life for hers" Fiona said in a trembling voice. She squeezed tightly into her dress so she could look tough in front of Steven.

Fiona simply replied to Steven with a faint smile, after which, opening the car door and walking towards Leon who had just exited his car.

Before getting into Leon's car, Fiona turned to Steven with a smile. "Goodbye, Steve," Fiona said in a soft voice.

Steven just looked at Fiona's departure from his car. After Leon's car disappeared from his sight, Steven closed his eyes for a moment before leaving his mansion.
