Scratches of Wound in Fiona's Heart
The Truth.

Sarah opened her door and was shocked to see that along the front street of her house there were many rows of parked cars accompanied by a group of well-built and black-clad men standing behind Steven and Erick.

Sarah circulated her gaze throughout the front area of her house that was already filled with Steven's people, after which she stepped closer to Steven while laughing sarcastically. "Why did you bring so many people here? Do you intend to tear apart my house?"

Steven looked at Sarah with a flat face. "I'm not here to make small talk with you. Where is Fiona?"

Sarah folded her hands in front of her chest. "Fiona?" sarah said in a mocking tone. "He doesn't want to see you" Sarah said indifferently.

Steven's eyes turned cold. "You don't think I know that you purposely locked Fiona away so I can't meet her."

"That was Fiona's wish. She said she doesn't want to be in a relationship with you anymore because she's sick of you. She's decided to marry Leon."

Steven's jaw was hardened, he gritted his teeth and stared intently at Sarah. "Never play games with me. Fiona couldn't possibly want to marry that man because she didn't love him." Steven doesn't seem to believe Sarah's words.

"If you don't believe it, look at it with your own eyes when she marries Leon" Sarah said.

"I wouldn't believe it before hearing it straight from Fiona's mouth. You better bring Fiona here before my patience runs out" Steven threatened with a sharp eye.

"You can't meet him. This is my residence. Here, my rules apply," said Sarah arrogantly while looking down on Steven.

Steven seems to be losing patience. "What basis do you forbid me to meet him?"

"Of course because I'm his mother. I'm entitled to rule Fiona's life."

Steven screeching. "You think I don't know that you're not Fiona's birth mother? Didn't I tell you I know who you really are."

This time, Sarah instantly fell silent and her eyes widened. He was quite surprised because Steven knew that. "Are you drunk? You came here only to rummage unclear." Sarah would not admit it. He tried to trick Steven.

"Do I need to give you proof that you're not Fiona's birth mother?"

Sarah looks surprised. He never expected Steven to have proof that Fiona was not his biological child.

Steven looked back. "Rick, give me the proof."

Erick nodded and handed the paper to Sarah. "How can you have this evidence?" Sarah looks dumbfounded.

Steven grinned. "That's nothing. I know all the secrets you've been keeping from your late husband."

"What do you mean?" sarah asked with a surprised face.

"Cindy, is not the son of Mr. Halim, but he is the son of another man. Exactly the son of Mr. Sandi, the man who once liked you."

Sarah's eyes immediately widened and her body trembled. "You don't talk just like that. Cindy is my husband's son. Don't you dare slander me, otherwise I can report you."

"Do you think I came here just to say nonsense? I have DNA test evidence that indicates that Cindy's not Halim's son." Steven turned to Erick and without being ordered again, Erick came forward and gave the results of the DNA test to Sarah.

Sarah grabbed the paper quickly. "Here, how can we do this DNA test?" Sarah's hand trembled after reading the DNA test results.

"What..?? My husband did it? But how can it be?" Sarah stared with a shocked expression as well as disbelief in Steven.

"True, he found out that Cindy wasn't his son. You must be asking, why did your husband just keep quiet instead he was mocking this and not questioning it to you?"

Steven smiled cynically. "There are two things that make Mr. Halim want to take you back and forgive you." Steven paused his words for a moment. "First because he thinks maybe it's karma that he has to accept for betraying Fiona's mother and second because he wants Fiona to get complete affection by making her your child, as a redeemer for his mistakes against Fiona's mother," said Steven.

Cecilia, Fiona's real mother was Halim's lover. Sarah is Fiona's mother's best friend. Sarah could only like Halim secretly because at that time, Halim and Cecilia had been in a long relationship. On the eve of the wedding day, Sarah traps Halim until Cecilia and Halim's marriage is canceled and ends up married to Sarah.

"He's willing to forgive you for Fiona. Someone takes care of her and raises her, she's willing to forgive you and try to accept Cindy like her own child because she thinks that you'd love Fiona like your own child if she did the same to Cindy. Your husband wants Fiona to have complete affection, but it turns out you never loved him. That's why Mr. Halim loves Fiona more because he knows that you can never actually accept her and love her."

Steven looked at Sarah with a relaxed face. "You must not have thought that it turned out that Mr. Halim knew the truth all along, right?"

"She also betrayed me by having an affair with Fiona's mother so it's only natural that she forgave me because she did the same as I did." Sarah doesn't feel guilty in the least.

"You're wrong, Mr. Halim never cheated on you behind your back. His only fault is that he's too stupid to fall for a snake woman like you."

"Yesdm... How dare you say that to me!" sarah said with an angry face.

"I'm telling the truth. You pretended to be a good friend and then took your own best friend's future husband and framed him. If it's not a snake woman then what do you call it?" Steven looked very calm to Sarah.

"It's Cecil's own fault, why he's in a relationship with a guy I like."

Steven sneered. "You don't even feel guilty about seizing your best friend's future husband."

"Didn't he betray me, too. She had an affair and was pregnant with Halim's son when we were married. Isn't he more rotten than me?" said Sarah arrogantly.

"You're wrong. Fiona's mother never cheated on you with your husband."

"You think I'm stupid. Halim came with a newborn baby and told me it was Cecil's son and asked me to take care of him because he already had no mother because Cecil died after giving birth to him."

"You are stupid. Did Mr Halim ever claim Fiona as his biological child? He just said that it was Madame Cecilia's son and he never said that it was his biological child. You created that thought. After all, what does a call mean, if I call mom, does that mean I'm your real son?"

When Halim brings Fiona home, Halim simply says Cecilia is dead and that it is her baby. Seeing Halim bring Fiona home makes Sarah angry and immediately accuses her husband of having an affair to produce a child.

Halim, who was still down and saddened by the departure of Cecilia, did not criticize Sarah and chose to be silent. He just said that Fiona would be a part of their family. If Sarah disagrees, they are forced to divorce. Inevitably, Sarah accepts Fiona and takes care of her let alone Halim promising to give all the treasures she has to Cindy and Sarah. Despite being married to Sarah, there is only Cecil to her heart Halim.

"You mean, Fiona's not Halim's son?" sarah asked with a surprised face.

Sarah does not know that Fiona is not actually the son of Halim. Halim deliberately hid it so that Sarah would care for and raise Fiona. Had she known that, not her son, Sarah would not have raised and cared for him.

"Of course not. Fiona is the daughter of Cecilia's mistress and her late husband so Fiona has no blood relation to your family."
