It's been a week since Fiona's abduction. Every day Fiona routinely conducts therapy with Reni's doctor. Every day Steven accompanies Fiona to the hospital. Fiona's condition has improved, fast and proper handling makes Fiona's recovery does not take a long time.

During that week, Fiona was not working. Steven doesn't want Fiona to be burdened with work and tells Cindy to give Fiona a leave of absence. Since the company was taken over by Steven, Cindy did not dare to refute the orders from Steven.

Steven smiled thinly. "My company attended William's wedding."

"Aren't you going to come with Sera, why take me?"

Fiona turned her gaze to the side as if she was hiding the look of her sour face. At that time, he was upset because Sera openly invited Steven to accompany him to their best friend's wedding.

At that time, Steven was seen not immediately reject the invitation Sera did not even ask his opinion first so that makes Fiona think that Steven will come along with Sera without asking permission from him first.

Steven smiled faintly at Fiona's tone. He knew that Steven was jealous of Sera. "Why would I invite another woman if I already had a very beautiful lover like you."

"If you take me and then what about Sera?"

"I refused his invitation, dear. I couldn't have come to William's party without taking you in" Steven said, rubbing Fiona's cheek gently with his thumb.

"I will definitely take you, let alone this being held on a luxury yacht. Let's just say all of us are on vacation, you must be bored at home. You're gonna accompany me to William's party"

"When the ship docked in the land sebrang, I will take you for a walk, how?"

"But, isn't your job a lot?"

"I can ask someone else to handle the office business. I want to spend more time with you in the land of people."

"Excuse me, Miss." Steven and Fiona immediately turned to the officer who was standing not far from where they were sitting.

"I've chosen some of the best dresses, do you want to try it first?" ask the officer politely.

"Okay sir, please finish the payment first," said the official politely.

Steven nodded then walked towards the cashier. After they finished paying and receiving the goods, they immediately left the boutique.

"Fio, let's stop by Mama's house first huh?"

Fiona turned to Steven. "Why are we going there?" fiona asked with a worried face.

He hasn't dared to meet Steven's mother yet.

Steven clasped Fiona's hand. "Meet your mama and have dinner there. Did you forget that we were supposed to see Mama a week ago?" steven said softly.

Fiona just remembered that, if it wasn't for her being kidnapped, they would have gone to see Steven's mother to talk about their wedding plans.

Fiona pensively for a moment. "You should have told me from morning, so I could have prepared something for your mother." Fiona feels bad not to come to Steven's mother's house without bringing anything.

Fiona smiled awkwardly as she looked at Steven's mother's flat expression. "Yes" Fiona replied politely.

Steven led Fiona to sit down next to him. "I heard from Steven, you were kidnapped, is that true?"

"Yes, Aunt. Steven saved me" Fiona said.

His mother took a quick glance at Steven then looked back at Fiona. "Ma, there's something I want to talk about, but we better eat first" Steven suggested.

"Wait, mom is waiting for someone."

"Who?" Steven was curious as to who his mother was waiting for.

"Wait a minute, he'll be here."

"Good night all." Sera smiled sweetly as she just entered the dining room.
