Dinner

A message came in while Leon was flipping through the file in front of him. Leon grabbed his phone and read the message he just got in. A message from Sonia who sent the name of the restaurant where they would meet later tonight.

Leon stared for a moment at the message sent by Sonia, after which he put his phone back on the table next to the file he was reading.

In the afternoon, Leon immediately drove his car to his house to bathe and change clothes before going to the place Sonia had determined. This is the first time Leon has met a woman he doesn't know other than the office.

Leon is a little closed to his personal life. He was used to being alone and not very fond of crowds. His time is spent working, even if he is tired, usually he will take Fiona and Jesy for a walk.

Finished preparing Leon immediately drove his car to a famous restaurant in the city center not far from the Sonia company.

On arrival there, Sonia had already come first. Leon greeted Sonia before sitting in front of her. "Sorry to keep you waiting."

Sonia is sweet. "It's okay. I just came too. Anyway, you didn't come late." Sonia called the restaurant staff and ordered food.

"Sonia, your car's been repaired, now it's in my house. I'm gonna ask someone to take her to your house."

"Don't let me take you to your house" Sonia refused, "you helped me last night. If you don't mind, I'll come back to your house to get my car" Sonia said.

"All right, no problem."

"Leon, I want to thank you once again for your help yesterday. To be honest, yesterday I was so scared when my car tire suddenly deflated on a deserted road. Fortunately you came to help me. I'm very grateful to you" Sonia said sincerely.

"I'm just passing by. Actually, you don't have to take me to dinner just because of a little favor like that. It is appropriate for men to do if they see a woman who needs help" Leon said.

"Not all men are sincere in helping women without a motive like you."

Leon rattled the corner of his left lip. "Sonia, you're so innocent. You remind me of someone." Leon leaned his back against the chair and tied his hands together on his lap, "one cannot be said to be sincere just for having helped once. I think you're too quick to judge me" Leon continued.

"Let's see, I just feel like you're a nice, sincere guy."

Leon smiled faintly. "Sonia, don't be so easy to trust a man you just met, including me. It's possible that the man approaching you just wants to use you because he knows your family's identity."

Sonia's forehead shriveled for a moment, after which she said, "You know who I am?"

"Of course you know," Leon replied casually, "Who is not familiar with the successor of the Liang Group."

Leon had known about Sonia for a long time. Sonia's face has appeared in several electronic media and business magazines thanks to her ability to manage the large company of her family. He is also famous for his generous nature.

Sonia was stunned for a moment. "I didn't think you knew about me. I'm flattered."

They continued the conversation until their food came. During the conversation, Leon did not talk too much, he listened more to Sonia tell him about his life. Leon is indeed not the type of person who likes to talk a lot especially with new people he knows.

After eating, they headed for Leon's house. While on the way, someone called Leon. "Sorry Sonia, it looks like we can't go to my house. I have to go somewhere"

"Did something happen?" sonia asked with a surprised face.

"Yeah, I have to pick someone up. Can you come with me for a minute? I'll take you home after that" Leon said when he was done getting a call from someone.

"All right, no problem."

Leon immediately turned the direction to where his destination was. Leon stopped near the stop when he saw the woman he knew sitting down. "You wait here" Leon told Sonia and was immediately taken in by Sonia.

Leon then approaches the girl after opening the car door, while Sonia only stares when Leon approaches a woman sitting at the stop.

Leon is seen helping the woman to stand up after which embraces her shoulder and invites her into the car. The woman looks like she is crying. Leon told the woman to sit in the back because in front was Sonia.

When he was sitting in the back, the woman immediately stared at Sonia. "You who? Why are you in Leon's car?" the woman asked as she looked towards Sonia.

Sonia looked back while smiling awkwardly when asked by the woman.

"He's my friend" Leon answered while wearing a seatbelt before Sonia answered the woman's question.

The woman seemed to be squinting her eyes at Sonia. "really?"

Leon looked at the woman. "He's just my friend" Leon said, "I'll take Sonia first, and then just drop you off."

"Yes." Yeah."

During the trip, there was no sound at all. Just a faint sound came from the girl sitting in the back. Sonia occasionally glanced back in curiosity with the woman sitting in the back seat.

Just now that he saw Leon's unusual treatment of the woman made Sonia think that maybe Leon had a special relationship with her. On arrival in front of Sonia's house, Leon goes down with Sonia.

"Thank you for driving me" Sonia said as they stood by Leon's car.

Sonia stared at Leon's car for a moment and then looked at Leon. "That womanuuu...."

"He's my cousin's sister."

Sonia smiled shyly. "I'm sorry, I thought it was your boyfriend."

"No, I am close to him" Leon said, "then I go home first."

Sonia just got into the house after Leon's car left her house.

After work, Leon and Sonia decide to reunite to deliver Sonia's car. This time, they met at a restaurant near Leon's office.

"This is your car key." Leon puts Sonia's car keys on the table.

"Thank you Leon."

"Hmmm."

"I'm sorry for bothering you."

"No problem, it's just a small matter" Leon replied casually.

While they were enjoying their dinner. Two people approached them both.

"Sonia, what are you doing here?" Sonia and Leon looked together. When he saw who was next to him, Sonia immediately stood up.

"Mama, Papa," said Sonia in surprise. Leon, who heard Sonia's words, was surprised as well. "We're having dinner, Ma, Pa," Sonia continued.

"Who is he?" ask Sonia's father while glancing at Leon.

Leon stood up and greeted Sonia's father and mother before Sonia replied. "Know, this is Leon. She is my lover," Sonia replied spontaneously and instantly made Leon and his two masters shocked.

"really??" It seems that Sonia's father did not believe her son's words.

Sonia immediately flanked Leon's arm and turned to him while smiling sweetly at him. "Really, right, sweetheart?"

Leon did not answer. He looked stunned for a moment before replying to Sonia. Leon still doesn't understand why Sonia lied about him about their relationship.

"Yeah, right. My name is Leon" said Leon politely, "I'm sorry I just got to introduce myself directly."

Sonia's mother smiled happily. "It's okay. We also just found out that Sonia already has a boyfriend."

"Why didn't you ever tell me you already had a boyfriend?" sela's Father Sonia.

"I'm afraid you'll be angry if you know I already have a lover" Sonia replied in a soft voice.

"Then invite your lover tomorrow to dinner at home. Somebody wants you to talk to him."

"Why don't you just talk here, Pa?" Sonia looks worried. Instantly he felt an unpleasant feeling. Will his father interrogate Leon.

"It's too open here." Sonia's father looked at Leon. "Come tomorrow night to our house."

"Well," Leon replied politely as he nodded.

After he finished speaking, Sonia's parents immediately left.

"Leon, I'm sorry I got you involved. I had to do it" Sonia said with a guilty face.

"Why did you lie to your parents?"

"Actually, my parents tonight invited me to meet the man I was going to be betrothed to, but I refused. I didn't like the guy that's why I said there was important business so couldn't go with them. I didn't think my parents were here."

Leon took a breath. "Sonia, what you're doing is not right. Your parents would be upset if they knew you were lying to them."

"I know, I spontaneously answered like that. I'm sorry Leon. I'll explain to my parents later."

"I'll see your parents tomorrow. However, I have also introduced myself as your lover and agreed to come there."
