The Hunter System

The Hunter System
Chapter 102 - Dungeon Break In City Center S (4)

After rescuing the desperate and near-death Association hunters, Alvin goes to another location where in his friendship map are numerous blurry red and green dots. It was the location where the lich and the hunter-hunters of the Superkraft guild, who had escaped too late, were located.

Arriving there, he saw the very famous Mark Friedl was almost unable to stand when the S-ranked hunter was played by dozens of lich.

The handsome man in his early 30s who was valued by many women in the City of S, now like a ball played by the lich-lich.

‘While I used to be a little jealous of him. Handsome, strong and rich.’

["If you don't help him quickly, he'll die. But it's up to you. I don't care either."]

Alvin, who had disabled the ghost skill because Mina seemed to be keeping a secret that she still had not revealed, jumped down from above the spider.

The loud noise from his iron boots upon encountering the asphalt, startled the lich-lich who was completely unaware of Alvin and his troops coming because they did not emit any Mana energy at all.

The horde of lichs, as well as all the surviving members of the Supercraft guild, fell silent at the same time when they saw an army of very eccentric robots.

While all the lichs were still silently staring at him, Alvin finished them all off with fire magic, then killed them again with a thunder bolt after they rose from the dead.

"Come to the last location" said Alvin quietly, sending the message to the insect troops.

He then left the place without paying attention to the hunters from the Superkraft guild who were stunned to see his presence, as well as his army of soldiers.

"W-who are they?" mark asked Aneryn, a woman who usually has a lot of important and insightful information.

"Super hero."

"What?! What are we then?"

"..."

......................

His legs could hardly be felt anymore. Moving non-stop for a full 1 hour by already draining away all of the Mana energy, making the state of Cyntia now truly apprehensive.

He also has many wounds on his body and now can only fight by standing still in his place, unlike before which is very agile and always moves agilely here and there.

As it was about to collapse out of stamina and Mana energy, Cyntia suddenly felt recovery magic energy coming from behind her.

“Sorry to be late,” said Alvin quietly.

Cyntia immediately turned her head and stared in shock at the robot.

“A-alvin? How can you..."

"You seem too focused and don't see my arrival."

Cyntia bowed listlessly. He's not unfocused. He could no longer focus even if he wanted to.

"Your voice..."

‘Rimi, can my voice do not you change?’

[“I know you want to show off. But don't do it now. He also knows that this is you. It's okay he knows, but not with the people who are in there.”]

‘...Alright...'

“Just rest, miss Tia,” said Alvin quietly, while continuing to recover the condition of Cyntia.

"But mere.ka..."

Cyntia was stunned to see thousands of lichs now being moons of hundreds of insect robots holding the lich back from getting close to Cyntia and dozens of civilians crouching in fear behind them.

"They're...," Cyntia stared at Alvin's costume and looked back at the insect army that was confronting the lich, "Are they your summon troops?"

"Huh?"

Alvin was a bit surprised to hear his question because such a thing never existed. No matter how high level a Mage-type hunter was, no one could summon any creature from another world like in comic stories or novels.

"Yes" said Alvin.

Cyntia nodded softly, staring at the lich that was easily slaughtered by one insect that resembled a praying mantis while the mosquitoes made them weak by sucking up Mana energy, which was the same, it also confused the lich troops with the buzz of its wings containing magic energy and made the lichs unfocused on attacking.

Fortunately, Alvin didn't call the giant spiders because they didn't fit in that basement. Otherwise, Cyntia would have been even more astonished.

So far, Alvin insects have experienced a considerable increase in strength.

On his way to this place alone, Alvin has experienced a level increase many times until he is now at level 100.

As Alvin leveled up, his basic status also rose. Therefore, the insect army that had copied Alvin's basic status grew stronger. Not to mention they had copied 25% of the status of Hunter Equipment. The insect's strength had now exceeded that of an S rank hunter.

"So that monster summon turned out to exist..," muttered Cyntia who suddenly felt a lack of knowledge. He looked at Alvin again and smiled at him.

'I went home to protect him... Who would have thought he was this good.'

After recovering all of Cyntia's Mana energy, Alvin released Cyntia's shoulder and walked towards the battle.

He then kept all his bugs back and changed jobs to Assassin. He entered among the thousands of lichs who had just risen again and entered continuously until arriving in front of the two necromancers from the army and then beheading them.

Alvin heard Rimi say the word level up to eight times before ending it.

'Level 108.'

["You can take a level 101 quest any minute while you're at level 110."]

'Yes.'

After the two necromancers died, all the lich troops fell down. Their bodies piled up in the basement and the sight was so horrible and disgusting to be seen by the citizens that many of them threw their faces away from the sight of the stinking pile of corpses.

Alvin dragged thousands of bodies and moved them into the inventory until the basement was clean again.

"W-what happened? Where are they?" Cyntia asked after seeing all the bodies of the lich disappear by themselves after being dragged by Alvin with a net.

"I keep them."

"You can keep them?"

"Yes. Just like summons, they can also be stored," said Alvin.

"That's it..."

"Then I go first, Miss Tia. I will destroy all the magic pillars of the Dungeon" Alvin said. He then turned around to leave the basement.

"Wait," Cyntia pulled Alvin's wrist just as he was about to walk away.

"Yes?"

"You didn't check Vina and Uncle Marco first?"

"I think they're okay. There's you and the whole Maxwell family here."

Cyntia averted her gaze as both of Alvin's robot eyes looked at her.

"Y-yes... Careful, ok?"

"Yes. Thanks..."

Alvin then left the place using ghost mode. He went to the 3 gates of the Dungeon that were still not closed to mine all the crystals there with the insect army. After that, he destroyed the magic pillar.
