Chapter 115 - The Boss of the Invisible Dungeon
“Maybe they're like lich. They have a kind of necromancer,” Alvin said as they arrived near the gate, waiting for the monsters to go out the gate there.
“Then we just kill the boss, right?” cyntia said, suspecting that her Dungeon boss had control of the monsters' lives.
“I think so too. Let's hope the boss level isn't too far.”
[“Try to see Dungeon.” map]
Alvin opened the map again.
[“Note the 10 red dots on the left of the map. They move to one place.”]
‘Ya.’
[“Yang in the middle and on the right as well. Your guess may be right. If so, the monster that had power over the life of the army might be the leader of each army. It is possible that his troops could be killed after the leader of the army dies or they would die immediately when the leader dies.”]

Alvin turned to Cyntia again.
“They are approaching. There are 3 teams coming. I wish they were just S-ranked monsters like the ones before.”
Cyntia shifted her gaze from the empty air beside Alvin's body where both of Alvin's robot eyes were silently staring for a few seconds.
'Does he have some kind of system in his head?'
“So, what's your plan?” ask Cyntia.
“I'll leave the insect army with you. You prevented them from getting out of this Dungeon. I'll try to kill the leader.”
“Alright..."

Alvin's calling back his army of troops.
He placed 10 giant spiders right in front of the gate that was far behind them. The 10 spiders he assigned as the last defense that would eradicate the monsters should they escape the invading army he would have placed far ahead.
The grasshopper army that has aggro and natural taunt skills he placed in the front, while the mosquito troops he placed right behind the grasshopper troops.
Mosquito troops serve as a concentration bully of monsters with magic coming from the flapping of the wings as well as to weaken enemy troops with proboscis sucking their Mana energy.
The praying mantis, an Assassin-type insect, he orders to work with Cyntia, the, to finish off the army of monsters that escaped the attack of 30 giant spiders that he ordered as the main attacking force that positioned right behind the mosquito troops.
“I never thought I would be working with an army of robots to fight monsters,” Cyntia said as she stared in amazement at the insect army.
“Hopefully no one will escape and go out of the Dungeon."
Cyntia looked behind them, staring at the 10 giant spiders sitting on their legs folded in front of the gate.
“As long as we don't pass the monster sequence, I think they can handle it" said Cyntia, then laughed.
Alvin followed Cyntia's gaze and nodded slowly.
That one spider alone could finish off dozens of S rank monsters at once. So he was sure what Cyntia said made sense.
“Well, they're coming. I'll sneak towards the leader.”
“Be careful, ok?”
“Sure and remember.. all of you should not be seen by them.”.
“Ya?”
“I'll make you invisible.”
“...Alright."
“I'm going now.”
Alvin activates the ghost skill to hide the whereabouts of Cyntia and her army of insects, both their forms and their auras. After that, he went to the army of black monsters that were on their way to the gate.

When he had met the monster army, Alvin stopped his footsteps and stared at all the monsters that were flying not too far above him and they did not glance at him at all.
That way he was sure the monsters would not be able to see Cyntia and her army either.
Alvin was still standing still, waiting for the leader of the troops in that place. Because according to the map, the three leaders of the army will meet at his current place.

A short while later, he finally saw 3 monsters that had twice the height of him, coming from 3 different directions.
[“They monsters rank SS.”]
‘That's great.’
As the monsters got closer, Alvin fired spider webs at the monsters coming from his left and right and then pulled them towards the middle, intending to smash them at the monsters coming from his front.

When the three monster bodies clashed against each other, their bodies were not as shattered as he wanted.
The three monsters even bounced each other after colliding, so he had to break the net if he did not want to be dragged by the two monster body bounce that he snapped.

Alvin tried to burn the monster with a flame. He thought that if their bodies were rubber-bending, they should melt when they were burning with great force.

Alvin stopped burning at the monster to chase after the two other monsters who ignored him and had already flown again towards the gate.

Alvin jumped up to avoid the fiery black liquid that was pointing at him. He jumped a few more times before using the airbender to capture and return the fire slime that the first monster he burned, to him.
While returning the slime of the fire, he noticed that the first monster he burned was taking part in his burning body to throw at him.
'Didn't I activate the ghost skill? Can he see me?'

The monster's attack had only come to a halt as both of his hands began to melt. However, another fireball attack came from the last two monsters he burned.
Alvin stretched out his two arms, holding the melted fireballs with the airbender so as not to reach him.
After the attacks had stopped as the hands of the monsters had already melted, he was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.
But, that feeling of relief instantly dissipated as he did not feel any experience point being absorbed into his body. He opened the map of the Dungeon and saw the red dot belonging to the three monsters still there.
Alvin hurriedly used ice dew to freeze the body parts of the monster that were still burning and scattered around it.
He guessed, the parts would definitely merge again later when the fire was extinguished, so he froze it.
[“Find his heart and destroy it. They must have had a source of life that made them unable to die before being destroyed.”]
Alvin followed Mina's advice. He approached one of the monsters then ‘dismantle’ the monster's body with an airbender to look for the heart or whatever it is that keeps the monster alive, but did not find it at all.
[“It's weird.”]
“Is it possible for Dungeon bosses to keep them alive?”
[“Maybe. Come on come to him.”]
“But what if they live again and go to the gate?”
[“Gather all their body pieces and put them into inventory.”]
“...That's more dangerous, right? What if they live and destroy inventory?”
[“As long as I'm around, they won't be able to do anything.”]

“Good.”
Alvin collected all the pieces of the frozen body and threw them into the inventory.
He also took the time to look at the Dungeon map again to ascertain the situation near the gate.
Seeing the green dots still in the form of a fairly neat formation, he knew they were fine. He also went to the Dungeon boss, who had actually also moved towards him.

“Then this is the case, he could have walked out of the gate without the ten guardian spiders knowing, right?"
[“That couldn't have happened. The gate size is large. The size of the gate was actually not because of the level of the Dungeon but because there were monsters that had a body size almost as big as the gate,”]

As they were still talking and discussing, the sandy soil that Alvin was incandescent suddenly softened and collapsed.
He also felt that someone was pulling one of his legs until he fell into the sandy soil and continued to be pulled until finally his whole body went into the ground.
