Chapter 158 - State of Emergency in Front of the Wall
Goddess Ann spoke to Alvin. "I have to go now. Get out of here before the gate closes."
Alvin nodded quickly. She was horrified that she could crush the bones with just a gentle touch without any magic energy at all.
"Don't use your power against humans or I'll come and take your life. Understood?"
Alvin nodded again as he fixed the bone on his crushed shoulder after the goddess Ann let go of her grip.
"You can just activate the girl's Mana energy if you want to turn the poison in your body into Mana energy and expand the Mana energy storage capacity."
"-you mean?"
"The essence of Mana that he possessed came from the descendants of Seraphim. You're lucky."
Alvin blinked his eyes, not understanding.
"Where do you think you can get that death gate magic?" goddess Ann twirled her index finger in front of Alvin's chest, pointing at the invisible Hunter Equpment.
"This "dense Mana energy that wraps around your body does indeed come from the Mana core of alien beings and magic crystals from other planets. But the Mana core that formed this dense Mana energy belonged to the descendants of Seraphim."

Alvin frowned, then laughed afterwards.
Takayoshi Sato smiled sinisterly at him.
"If you already know me, then get rid of it. You...," Takayoshi's turn now frowned when he couldn't sense Mana Alvin's energy, "How can you remove your Mana energy? You're a hunter, right?"
Alvin nodded slowly.
"You're right. In addition to hunting monsters, I also hunt lost hunters like you."
Takayoshi laughing.

The fire then burned the entire floor to the walls of the room and eventually burned and blew up the entire laboratory, as well as the island where the laboratory was located.

A great battle between the City S hunters and the lich troops took place in front of the gates of the Maxwell family.
Lich this time came with a number that reached tens of thousands that made the battle run unbalanced.
Cyntia as the only hunter who could kill them easily had also started to experience fatigue until she had to pull over and rest, leaving the hunter army led by Lowe Frostman and Sam Maxwell to fight in his place.

"Save it," said Cyntia as she turned her gaze to the battle under the fortress.
"Are we going to end today?" sarah said with a sad face.
Cyntia stood up, then looked into the distance, at the thousands of lich troops that had just arrived from the direction of the city center.
He did not answer Sarah's question. He was also unsure if they could survive past today if they could not kill the lich troop necromancers who were somehow hiding where.
There was no meaning in killing those lichs as long as the necromancer wasn't killed because the necromancer would constantly raise his dead army.
"It's okay to chop off their heads before I can find the necromancer's whereabouts" Cyntia said.
"But you can't leave this fortress, Miss Tia."
"You should be able to rotate with. well..," said Cyntia, before finally swallowing back the speech when he saw the troops Sam and Lowe had been pressed all out.
Of course the troops would not be able to rotate to defend the fort well. Each lich was equivalent to an S rank hunter whereas within that combined hunter army there were only 5 S rank hunters.
Cyntia finally came down from the 12-meter-high wall to help Sam and Lowe's troops who could not survive at all from the queue lich who were like fighting to finish them off.
