Chapter 18 - Entering the Trap With Pleasure
Alvin was also about to laugh as Miranda and the 19 Association hunters who were around the woman laughed at him.
From their gazes, Alvin could guess what they were thinking.
'They must have thought I came for being stupid, right?'
And his guess was right, because one of the hunters who approached him immediately mocked him according to what he thought.
"If I were you, I would probably dig a tunnel and hide there for the rest of my life compared to having to fulfill this raid call" he said half-whispering. He did not want the journalists who had also gathered around the gate to hear what he had to say.
Ever since the media learned that Miranda and her team were about to conduct a raid, they flocked to the location of the Dungeon gate the day the raid was scheduled.
Covering the activities of the very famous Hunter Association in S City was one of the life goals of journalists. They will benefit a lot by doing so.

"I am an F rank hunter. But I'm not a coward like you" said Alvin who then smiled cynically at him.
"You're so brave..."
Alvin who had a body taller than the hunter immediately approached and whispered in his ear, "Who is a coward here? See how many people you need to ensnare an F rank hunter."
Hunter was so furious that he almost kicked Alvin's stomach with his knee.
However, Alvin who already had the sensitivity status he had just obtained after level 40, could instantly feel the intent of the attack. He hurriedly retreated and stayed away from her.
"You invited me to pick me up for a fight at the gate or to do a raid? If your goal is to fight here, then I'll go home now" said Alvin again, after he retreated about 3 meters from the hunter.

Just a moment after all the hunters had entered the Dungeon, the journalists were shocked by the arrival of the two famous hunters in their city.
Seeing that the hunters who were on the official raid list were no longer there, the two hunters immediately ran away towards the head of the gate monitoring team.
"Have they come in?" ask Hunter the man who came with his sister.
"Mr Xavier, Miss Xavier, why are you here?" the supervisor team leader who was surprised by the presence of the two hunters, asked back.
"We're looking for Alvin Rufino. Where is he?"
The team leader pointed towards the gate while answering that question.
"Mr Rufino and the team have already entered the gate."
Robert Xavier looked at the gate worriedly. Though he and his sister had driven their car very quickly when Vina Rufino asked for their help because she suspected that Miranda Lewis would harm her sister in the Dungeon.
"Lord Hunter, can we get permission to enter following them," Erfhina Xavier asked quickly. Just like his brother, he also worried about Alvin's condition which Miranda and his men might harm.
Seeing the strange appearance of the two hunters, the head of the supervisory team actually wanted to contact the headquarters to request permission for them.
However, someone who was much more influential than the two hunters was suddenly already among them.
His movements were very quiet. Although he was actually a Mage-type and fat-bodied hunter, with his extremely high rank the middle-aged man could move as smooth as a B-rank Assassin.

After saying that sentence Norman, one of the 3 S rank hunters in S City immediately left the location of the Dungeon gate without caring for the Xavier brothers.

Then, in a whisper he conveyed it to Miranda. "This is a B-rank Dungeon, Miss Lewis."

Miranda's heart suddenly beat faster after hearing that information.
A B rank Dungeon was a Dungeon with a fairly high rank. They rarely show up.
It would usually require a minimum of 5 A rank hunters and 15 B rank hunters to overcome the Dungeon.
However, the pounding Miranda felt was not because she was afraid. The woman was even very happy when she found out that the place where they were in was very dangerous.
