Chapter 193 - The Counterattack
'I think the Mana energy is drained enough.'
Although he could not sense the Mana energy of the god Zei, Alvin could guess if the opponent had already used up a lot of Mana energy.
His sense of vision that was already beyond the limits of the hunters' abilities, even better than a handful of angels and gods, could see the tremors in Zei's faintly trembling hand.
That mark was enough for him to know if the god Zei had already drained his Mana energy so much and started to fatigue.
"I have a surprise for you, lowly god!" exclaimed Alvin while beheading the smoke body of giant monsters that continue to appear every time he managed to finish off.
Lord Zei who was concentrating on performing summoning magic while strengthening them, did not respond to the insults.
This adds to Alvin's belief that the opponent's Mana energy has begun to drain.
The god seemed to be very clearly concentrating fully on summoning the spirits of the monsters, as well as trying to recover the Mana energy.
"Well, whatever..," murmured Alvin quietly.
Alvin performs a spinning motion, splitting the bodies of the newly resurrected giant creatures before flying down and pulling Rimi and Cyntia to be by his side.
"What's wrong?" cyntia asked, feeling a little confused as Alvin suddenly grabbed her waist and carried her out of the shadow army's encirclement.
"Hide with Rimi first."
"Energy Where have you recovered?"
"...Yeah," said Alvin a little late.
Cyntia had no idea that Alvin could recover his Mana energy so quickly.
The recovery system that has been fused with the Mananya core performs a rapid recovery every time Alvin uses Mana energy.
"Rimi, pull back the insect army and go to the inventory with Tia."
"Good, sir."
Though unsure of what plan Alvin had, Rimi obeyed the order.
With a flick of a finger, Rimi ordered all the insect troops to re-enter their nest that Rimi had opened.

Alvin could see a slight smile at the wide mouth of the Zei god who thought that he and his army might have been exhausted from facing his shadow army.
But, what Alvin did after Rimi and Cyntia went to the inventory really made the Zei god surprised instead of playing.
"The Art Of Killing, part 4... The afterlife!"
After the invocation of the magic spell echoed, the darkness present engulfed the entire region of the shadow army's existence, along with the silence that swallowed the roars of the monsters.
Between the darkness, Alvin could see two red dots, which were the two eyeballs of the god Zei, wide open to see the situation around him which became pitch-black and silent simultaneously.
The state of silence and pitch darkness lasted only about a few seconds before finally disappearing, exposing the sunlight in the afternoon.
Simultaneously, the entire monster spirit that had previously flooded the place disappeared.

Lord Zei looked around him.
Not only could he not see his shadow army anymore, he could not sense their Mana aura at all either.
With the loss of the mana aura that connects between the world of death and its magic, the god Zei knew that he would not be able to summon the spirits of those monsters anymore.
'He can open the gate to the realm of nothingness?!'
"Lost your army?" alvin said with a grin.
The god Zei finally shifted his focus to Alvin.
The look in his eyes could send out a huge anger signal that Alvin could feel.
While trying to remember the face of a figure similar to Alvin in the world of the gods, the god Zei cast one of his magic.
Simultaneously, 6 black clouds the size of a sedan car appeared around Alvin.
A black lightning-like magic energy snatched out from the clouds and attacked Alvin almost nonstop.
While Alvin moves here and there to avoid a lightning strike, the god Zei casts his magic spell again, then shot a huge bolt of lightning from the tip of his sword into the middle of the black cloud that followed Alvin everywhere he went.
Zlaaaaaaarrr...!!!
A huge explosion echoed loudly in the air.
Just a few seconds after, Alvin seemed to fall in a kneeling position among the 6 black clouds that were still emitting small lightning that continuously rained down on his body.
Zlarr... Zlarr... Zlarr...!

["This cloud is similar to your skill. They're markers that will follow you wherever you go."]
"Yes," said Alvin quietly, trying to resist the energy pressure of the small lightning that was grabbing his body nonstop, almost without pause, to be able to get up on his feet.
The attack did look very simple but Alvin could feel the thunderbolts were absorbing the Mana energy from Hunter Equipment whose form had been activated and had protected him from the magic explosion earlier.

The real God Zei still holds a curiosity about the background of the opponent he faces, focusing on channeling his Mana energy to each lightning strike around Alvin.
He continued to add his magic power to the 6 clouds that were locking on to the opponent to be able to penetrate the opponent's extremely strong defenses, as well as absorb the Mana energy from the golden black armor protecting his body.
'His defense is really very strong.'
Lord Zei cast another spell. Simultaneously, the 6 black clouds surrounding Alvin expanded slightly.
Lord Zei then used all of the Mana energy he had absorbed from the Alvin Hunter Equipment that was already piling up within the clouds to help him carry out his imminent attack.
He pointed his sword at Alvin again. Then, with a loud cry, the black lightning that contained the destructive energy was much stronger and larger than before, scattering out from the tip of the sword of the god Zei, darted quickly towards Alvin who was still crouching on the ground.
Zraaatt...
Knowing that the opponent had attacked him at full strength, Alvin focused his senses of vision, staring straight at the black lightning that was moving very quickly towards him.
When he felt that the time to use his magic was very precise, with all his strength Alvin jumped back to enter the inventory portal that Rimi had opened a moment ago right behind him.
While leaping into the inventory portal, Alvin cried out loudly chanting his magic spell, Alvin,
"Gates of the Death!"

A gigantic crater appeared replacing the thick fog of dust that was slowly beginning to dissipate.
Right in the middle of the crater, the black body figure flickering lying dying helplessly.
The god Zei, as the only figure in the middle of the giant crater created from the magic explosion, was dying and almost losing consciousness from being hit by a strike from his own magic attack.

Just a moment ago, just before the black lightning of the god Zei hit Alvin, Alvin suddenly vanished from his crouching spot.
Instead, the god Zei who had already obtained the curse marks from the many iron pegs Alvin had thrown into his body from their fight, was absorbed into a gate that had suddenly appeared before him.
The god Zei was then ejected again from another gate that was in the middle of the siege of 6 black clouds and was struck by the black lightning that he had previously pointed at Alvin.
