Chapter 39 - Supervised By City Association T
"Didn't you see any movement from him other than raiding hidden gates?"
"There is no sir. He simply went to the hidden gate and returned to his rented warehouse after that. His daily life is also only filled with jogging around his residence or storage warehouse." Jack is currently giving his weekly report to Lex Brown, chairman of the City T Hunter Association.

"Yes, sir. The Flames Guild asked us if it was possible to grant Alvin Rufino raid permission in City T?"

Lex furrowed his brows. He felt that what the Flames guild wanted was very strange. How could they possibly bring an F rank hunter to a B rank Dungeon.

Lex didn't question it because he was worried about Alvin. He knew there was something Alvin was hiding. He and Jack guessed that Alvin might just hide his powers, so they didn't have to worry about the Flames guild harming him.
From the results of the investigation, they know that Alvin began to suspect since he got out of the Dungeon accident that killed 11 Association hunters and 5 hired hunters.
They also suspected that something had happened to Miranda and her 20 comrades when Alvin became the only hunter to escape a B rank Dungeon some time ago.
There's no way Miranda Lewis could have escaped the man they suspected of being Brondy's persecutor. Alvin must have done something to her.
What astonished Lex was the purpose of the Flames guild to invite F-rank hunters to conduct a raid in a B-rank Dungeon. That'sthat's all.

Jack nodded slowly.

"Is that a bad reason?"
