Chapter 221 - Second Quest
Alvin and Mina wake up in the early hours after they hear suspicious movements outside the house where they spend the night.
At first they want to go straight out and ambush those people, but Mina ultimately prevents Alvin from doing so.
"Don't attack."
"I'm not going to kill them."
"Not because you can't interfere. Let's go out first."
Alvin followed Mina who had walked first to the door and opened it, then saw Ronald, Zhu Ming, Liu Gong, Mira, Steven and Jester were in the yard with their faces looking pale.
'They were almost out of Mana energy. Are they following us?'
"What are you guys doing here? You guys tailing us?" asked Mina in a cold tone.
"Pardon us..," Zhu Ming said with a gasp of breath.
After traveling for nearly 48 hours on a relentless run, the six hunters almost died of exhaustion.
Initially they wanted to rest, but when from a distance saw the wall of the village of Gernalda that had collapsed, they undo the intention and continue on their way to check what happened.
They thought another village had attacked the village. However, when they found no trace of troops from other villages, they began to be confused and went around to check the condition of the destroyed village and found a house that was still standing upright by accident.
"W-are you two the ones who attacked this village?" ronald asked in a loud voice.
Although the middle-aged man could still stand up like Zhu Ming, he had almost run out of Mana energy as well after using it to run.
"Yes" said Mina. His expression was still as cold as before, feeling no pity for the exhausted-looking hunter-hunters from his village.
"Why are you following us?" Mina asked back.
Ronald and Zhu Ming stared for a moment before Zhu Ming answered the question, "Do you want to be our part?"
"You're asking me to be your protector?"

Zhu Ming glanced at Ronald who was staring at Mina with his mouth open. What Mina said was too blunt, leaving the middle-aged man shocked by her nature.
"I know why you all want to join me. You want to survive until all your families come here, right?" mina said again.
The sentence continued to brighten it made all the hunters look at him awkwardly.
Although what Mina said was the truth, the arrogance in the girl's words made Zhu Ming feel uneasy.
He wanted to invite Mina to join them. However, the way Mina spoke was as if saying that they were the ones who wanted to join her and needed her help to survive.
Although Zhu Ming was unhappy with Mina's attitude, what Mina said was actually very appropriate.
They need Mina to survive until all their family members come and they can protect her as well.

Because no one answered the question, Mina also invited Alvin to go on their way to the next quest location.
"Wait... You want to go?"
"There are still some quests that we have to complete" Mina said without turning her head.
"Tu-wait," Ronald hurriedly followed while taking out 6 quest plates that were smaller in size than Mina's quest plate. "We also have to come. We took the same quest as you took, "Ronald said hastily.
Mina turned around, staring at the quest plate in Ronald's hands. He knew, it was just a supporting quest plate.
They would not get any reward if the quest was successfully conquered because the plate was just a means to be able to go through the village boundaries.
"I know you have a support plate to go over the village line and want to help me."
"Y-yes... We. indeed should help you. But.., can we rest for a while?"
"I don't need you" Mina said as she swept through the ruined village with her gaze, as if to show Ronald that she didn't need their help at all. "And again, your quest will also be completed once I finish everything."
"Y-yes... But..."
"See you later" Mina turns and invites Alvin to continue their journey without paying attention to the six hunters.

"They need me, they should just ask permission to join me. Too expensive to sell."
"But you do want to protect them, don't you?"
"It doesn't mean I'll let them come with me if I'm running a quest. Just bother. I can protect them, but I can't wait to see how slow they're going."
"You're right," Alvin laughed. It would be boring if it had to run at the speed of those six hunters.

Just like before, the two arrived at a village as the day entered twilight.
From there Alvin can conclude that the creator of the planet has determined the same distance between villages.
'What is the distance made so far that they don't fight every day?'
What Alvin thought was true. There is a considerable distance between villages. If the distance was covered normally like the assailants of Korda village, it would take 5 days of running to reach a village.
If that distance were to be forcibly traveled as Ronald and his comrades did, one would indeed arrive at the destination village with only two days.
However, they would definitely be instantly killed afterwards as the other party would be able to finish off those who ran out of Mana energy easily.

As before, Alvin and Mina monitored the situation of the village from the top of a tree.
In the village, almost all creatures were busy gambling dice by risking their rations, as Alvin had seen when he first entered the tower of Korda village.
"Gambler's nest?"
"This village is indeed devoted to creatures who during their lives like to gamble."
Mina then directed both of her palms at the village. After the magic spell spelled out from his mouth, a rain of magic spikes fell flattening the village. This time, Mina did not leave a single house for them to spend the night in.
As before, Mina goes to the ruins of the tower to search for a book listing the villagers and find out if Chris Maxwell is there.
"He's not here either."
"Maybe he's alive."
"It could be..."
Alvin looked around, looking for a building that Mina might have left behind.
"We don't spend the night?"
"No. They'll probably come again tomorrow morning and keep following us."
After Mina took the quest reward, they continued on to the next village.
The two arrived at the following village in the morning.
Just like before, the two looked for tall trees to monitor the state of the village.
But, since this time they arrived when it was still bright, while the guarding of the fort was still tight, the guards above the fort could see their movements.
Mina hurriedly hid behind a tree while Alvin activated the ghost skill to disappear.
"Skill is very effective" Mina said with a happy smile.
Alvin sends the magic ghost skill to Mina to make her not look the same as him, because the ghost skill can be shared by the user on others as long as the skill is active.

Mina nodded slowly. When Alvin is suddenly seen by him, he knows that Alvin has shared the magic of the skill with him.

However, he did not have time to make the attack when a very large force suddenly came pulling and flying him, as well as Alvin, back towards the village where they came from.
