Chapter 66 - CEO of ZC Group
"What's wrong with you, bro? You seem very uninspired" asked Jack, who had met Alvin in front of his residence earlier, who had seen a cloud over the man's face.
"Do I look like that?"
"Yes. Hugely. If it's because of this meeting, I hope you'll be more patient. Trust me, this time you'd better give in."
Alvin snorted softly, turning his gaze to the twinkling lights of the city that looked beautiful from the car window that opened beside him.
In fact, Alvin did not even think about the meeting that he would do soon. He had only felt uneasy since this morning after seeing Ivory's disappointed look on his face when he refused his invitation to go together.
["That's for sure because of this meeting. If there wasn't this meeting, you wouldn't have seen the sweet woman's disappointed face."]
'Be quiet!'
["Actually I'm a little disappointed. I'll probably drop a little poison on the CEO's food and drink later."]

After driving for 1 hour, they finally arrived at a very luxurious restaurant area with a large writing ZC group on top.
It was the most famous 5-star restaurant in Kota T, one of the businesses owned by ZC group.
When they arrived at the main door of the restaurant, a male servant greeted them and found a parking space for the car they were driving.
Alvin looked at Jack's disappointed face as soon as they reached the front of the restaurant building.
"Is there anything that bothers you?" ask Alvin.
Jack shook his head slowly but Alvin suspected that something was really troubling his mind. It could be seen from his bitter smile before Jack finally went to the reception.
After talking for a while at the reception, Jack finally returns and invites Alvin to go follow him.
"It doesn't look like the conversation is going to go well" Jack said as they walked toward the elevator."
"Did that receptionist tell you something?"
"No. It's just that someone should have been waiting for us in front earlier and someone would have taken us to the meeting room."
"Ah, so..." Alvin nodded slowly. He knows what makes Jack uncomfortable.
"I hope you can be more patient." Jack said, pressing the elevator button.
They climbed all the way to the 9th floor of the building, which was the top floor in that fancy restaurant.
When they just got out of the elevator, Alvin could immediately see the classic luxury that was in the 9th floor corridor.
Unlike the outward appearance of the building, which seems to be made of concrete, each wall and floor in the corridor are all coated with old wood with a distinctive aroma that is very soft.
Jack carried Alvin on until they finally arrived at the door of the room.
"Dam. It's bad" said Jack slowly.
"What's wrong? Are we going home?"
"No. No one welcomes us at the door. It's funny, right?"
Alvin almost laughed at hearing that.
"You're overreacting."
"No. An important person seems unlikely to not accept his guests well. Unless he really wanted to insult that guest."
"That's it. Just open. Do I need to open it?"
Before Alvin touches the doorknob, Jack first grabs the doorknob and opens the door for Alvin.
Jack laughed when he saw where the door was taking them.
They are now on the roof of the building.
Alvin grunts quietly. Staring at the twinkling lights of the city that looks very clear from where they are now.

"Damn. He really wants to insult us." Bait Jack.
Alvin who had been picked up earlier looked grim, instead laughing when he saw Jack was angry.
"Hey, didn't you ask me to be patient earlier? Why are you angry?"
"Sunday here." Jack. He then walked with wide strides toward a group of men in black suits who stood staring at them since the beginning of the arrival of the two men.
"Where's your boss?" jack asked one of the men.
The man lowered his head and answered Jack very politely.
"He'll be here in half an hour, Mr. Paul."
"What?! That asshole!" aspersons Jack. He is really angry now.
Even though Jack was spying on their boss violently, the 10 men did not dare to be angry at him at all.
They are indeed hired hunters who serve as bodyguards of the ZC group assigned to this restaurant. But they were only F-rank hunters who knew who Jack was, the right-hand man of the chairman of the City T Hunter Association. So, they did not have the guts to reprimand him. In fact, they immediately lowered their heads in fear when they heard Jack swearing just now.
"Then tell your boss we'll be back. If he's..."
"It's okay. Let's just wait" said Alvin, cutting off Jack's curse.
"What's? But he's humiliating us, bro! Look, he told us to wait for him on the helipad. He thinks we're the same as these bodyguards?"
"It's okay" said Alvin.
Jack wanted to talk again, but he saw a flash of anger in Alvin's eyes. So, he broke his intention. Jack finally just cleared his throat while staring at the 10 men glaring at Alvin bravely.
They were afraid of Jack. Aside from his high position in City T, Jack was also an A rank hunter. But they were not afraid and immediately felt angry at Alvin, as Alvin looked at them with his horrible gaze.
"This asshole dares to look at us like that? He's just an F-rank hunter, right?!" he swore at some of them, in his heart.
Jack finally waited patiently because Alvin asked for it, also because he saw a glimpse of anger at Alvin's expression even though the man tried to hide it as best he could.

Exactly 30 minutes later, a black helicopter descended on the helipad.
There were 4 men with black suit stelan down first before finally two men with haughty-looking casual attire came down later.
The ten hunters who had been waiting for the langung bowed respectfully to them and gave them a way in the middle.
The six men who had just arrived were finally walking past Alvin and Jack without caring about them at all.
When the six men had entered the building, one of the ten hunters approached Jack and spoke politely to him.
"Mr Paul, please follow me."
Alvin frowned, but he kept walking with Jack following the man.
"What was one of them the CEO of ZC group?" ask Alvin to Jack.
"Yes." Yeah."
Alvin laughed immediately after Jack answered him.
"God. He doesn't even look at us even though we've been waiting for him?" alvin said in a loud voice, without caring for the 9 hunters who heard it while following the two of them from behind.

The hunter led them into a room with very beautiful decorations.
Alvin was quite surprised by the beauty of the decoration of the room, until he almost forgot his irritation to the two haughty-looking men. However, his admiration instantly disappeared as he looked at the two men who were already sitting in a carefree fashion on the leather sofa, at the end of the room.
They did not stare at the guests who had been waiting for a long time, not even bothering to say hello at all until the impatient Jack greeted them first.
"We're here, Billy," Jack told a man who looked his age, but had a much higher degree than him.
"Is he the one?" ask Billy to Jack. He asked so, but did not look at Alvin even glanced at him.
