Chapter 142 - Ancient Beings
The black dot in the sky finally expanded. Simultaneously, black clouds sprung up around the black dot, which was now in the form of a black gate, which still continued to expand until it finally stopped when its diameter had reached 100 meters.
Alvin thought the hunters, who had just managed to kill the goblin king, were, would be dumbfounded and speechless just watching the huge gate above their heads and trembling in fear as it felt a surge of magic energy aura emanating from the gate.
He did not expect that they had swiftly and very neatly already directly fled towards the gate to immediately exit the Dungeon.

He then looked up at the giant gate in the sky, where ancient creatures had started to emerge from behind the black gate that was in the middle of the gray clouds.
'Dinosaur?!'
["Same as a lich. They were created from DNA."]
'But, his Mana energy is very strange.'
["You can't absorb their Mana cores.']
'Yeah, I can feel it. They seem to have no body.'
["They are only formed from magic energy. Their Mana bodies and cores will evaporate once you kill them."]
'I understand.'
Alvin could also feel the intense energy of the gray cloud that had now expanded to almost fill the entire Dungeon area, drawing energy from the ground, creating a glittering lightning bolt that struck and targeted the hunters.
'Armor and his helmet are done?'

Alvin takes a black cloak and a leather mask from inside the inventory window that Mina made for disguise so that Alvin's identity is unknown to the City C hunter-hunters.

After wearing his robe and mask, he, Alvin goes to the raid team, who are now being chased by thousands of Raptors and hundreds of Ty-Rex who just landed on the ground after they came out of a giant black hole in the sky.
Not only that, hundreds of flying Pterodactyls filled the Dungeon sky under the gray clouds also began to approach them.
On the mainland, an 18-year-old teenage girl, who served as the team captain, appeared busy dispelling dozens of Raptors who attacked her comrades who had fallen while on the run.

Lucy Logan becomes the only hunter tasked with dispelling the monsters that follow the raid team, because she is one of the 3 hunters who have not fought at all since the beginning.
Together with two vice-captains, Ren and Yola, who are also his age, Lucy does store Mana energy to keep watch in case of an emergency. Damn, they were actually experiencing that emergency right now.

Luckily Ren and Yola came to help.

"They have all gone out the gate with Mr. Liu" Yola said.
"What?! They can get out so fast?!"
Lucy stared at the actual gate she didn't know where it was because she wasn't looking at the directions. So, he gazed around the Dungeon area alone to make sure there were no more members of his team there.
"There was a strong hunter who came to help" said Ren, while dispelling the Raptor with his ice blades.
"Who?"
"Don't know. He wears a mask and a long robe."
"Let's go first. He asked us to pick you up while he was guarding in front of the gate" Yola said half-screaming.
"All right."
The three hunters who had just risen to the S rank began to try to open a way to get out of the siege of ancient monsters.
With excellent and well-trained fighting techniques, the three 18-year-old teenagers managed to get out of the encirclement without needing much time.
After they made it out of the siege, they began to run regardless of the ancient creatures that tried to chase them.
But, just as they were about to reach the gate, they also began to get air strikes from the Pterodactyl horde that had since been able to fly around the gate area after they could not penetrate Alvin's defenses.
Just as they had started to get overwhelmed, a black-robed figure appeared near them and banished the thousands of ancient creatures even killing them all with just a single strike.
"The Art of Killing, part 2... Hunter Daggers."
After Alvin activated his skill, hundreds of daggers suddenly sprung from around his body.
Hundreds of daggers formed from Mana energy that shimmered all over Alvin's body then flew towards all the ancient creatures that were within a radius of 50 meters with him as the center.
With enough distance, the flying magic daggers also managed to prevent the ancient beings who were flying and running towards the gate to get out of the Dungeon.
"Stay near me," Alvin pinta on 3 hunters who gawk at the strange skill he just used.
For the first time, they saw a magic that could follow wherever the monsters went and decapitate them without ever missing a single moment.
In just a matter of seconds, all the ancient creatures that were there died unceremoniously.

"Are you a help hunter from the Central Association, sir?" lucy asked politely after all the monsters were killed and their bodies billowed into black smoke and disappeared.
Although Alvin's appearance wearing a leather mask and long black robe was slightly suspicious, Lucy knew that the man seemed to be on their side.
"I wasn't sent from anywhere" said Alvin.
Alvin looked at Lucy closely, remembering the face of someone very similar to him.
'He looks like Nathan Logan.'
Do you have a relationship with Nathan and Gary Logan?" ask Alvin.
He saw the girl's round eyes widen as he mentioned the names of the two S City Association hunters who were his captains when they had a raid accident first.
"You know my brothers?"
Alvin smiled bitterly from behind his mask.
"I don't know them very well."
"That's it," Lucy bowed. Alvin could see the fists in both of the girl's hands hardened.
"Your brothers are good and responsible hunters" said Alvin again and his remarks made Lucy look up and look at him again with a surprised expression.
