The Hunter System

The Hunter System
Chapter 46 - Looking at New Business Opportunities

After sending Jack a reply, Alvin reopens the quest Rimi gave him.

This was the tenth time he had opened that quest window in just this single day.

...•••●●●•••...

...Main Quest's...

...The Complete 5 Job Training...

...••••••••••...

...Activation conditions: Level 61...

...••••••••••...

...Reward :'s :...

...1.1. Hidden Reward's...

...2.2. Unlock all active and passive job skills belong to level 61...

...•••●●●•••...

Alvin repeatedly stared at the quest from his level-up reward, especially at the second reward he would get if he successfully completed that quest.

'Open active and passive skills all level 61 jobs.'

After that, Alvin opened up again all the skills from all his jobs that all active and passive skills level 61 is still locked.

'If I complete this quest before going to that A rank Dungeon, will I help them a lot?'

The thought of the emergence of an A-rank Dungeon had greatly troubled him in the past two days.

According to the map he had, the A rank Dungeon gate would appear in the next 3 days in City T, whereas he was currently still at level 62. There had been no change at all since the last time he defeated a giant golem in the B rank Dungeon of the Flames guild.

"But I have already done a raid in 9 other Dungeons after coming out of that B rank Dungeon," thought Alvin, staring out the window of the SUV he was riding in.

Dungeons ranked D and E did not give too much experience point on their current rankings. However, only two types of Dungeon gates are available in City T. So he can't complain about it.

'Or maybe there are going to be gates of rank C and B that are missed by me?'

Because of that thought, Alvin finally reopened the map of the Dungeon gate and looked at all the maps more closely. Unfortunately, there are only two types of Dungeons that are scattered in the map.

There were several Dungeons ranked C and B. But, everything is red. That meant that the gate was already visible on Earth and of course there was already a guild that had bought its raid rights.

He had indeed thought of joining the raid of those guilds. If asking Jack for help to put him in the guild raid, there was a chance that his request would be approved.

The problem was, those guilds would definitely suffer a huge loss if he took out the Mana cores from all the monster corpses.

From Ivory's story, the Flames guild even suffered a loss of nearly half of the cost they incurred to purchase the B rank Dungeon raid rights that all of his Mana cores Alvin had taken. The nominal loss is not small.

.........

"Bro. Is something bothering you?"

"Yes?"

"Your face looks very hard."

"Huh?"

Raymond grabbed the rearview mirror near his head and pointed it at Alvin's face.

Alvin was somewhat surprised when he saw the expression on his face inside that mirror.

Seeing Alvin's surprised expression, Raymond laughed.

"Look, you're just surprised, right?"

Alvin forced a smile and it looked strange to make Raymond laugh even louder.

"Do you have a problem? What's that about our warehouse that can't hold any more monster corpses?"

Alvin clucked.

"I almost forgot that there was a problem too."

Searching for a much larger warehouse was another matter that he had to solve as quickly as possible, as his speed in conducting the raid was much higher than the System's speed in processing the corpses of his monsters.

"Is there a company in this city that rents warehouses for raided commodities?" alvin asked Raymond who was driving their SUV.

Alvin recalled, in City S there are companies engaged specifically in that field. They rented out warehouses to large guilds who wanted to store the corpses of monsters themselves without sending them to the Processing Center.

"There is the largest financial company in the City of T is also engaged in that field. Are you trying to go there?"

"financial companies? Why are they renting out the warehouse too?"

"Well, that ZC company even monopolizes almost all business sectors in the city. They are truly ultra-rich companies. The branch of his business even went out of the country."

"so... Can we go there now?"

"Ok, boss!"

......................

The ZC Group office building was really very tall and had a very grand design.

Looking at the magnificent building before him, Alvin who was initially very confident in the savings he now had, almost lost his confidence when they just arrived in front of the ZC Group building.

"I hope someday we'll have an office this big" Raymond said, surprising Alvin from his daydreams.

"Well..."

.........

A direct marketing assistant manager greeted Alvin and Raymond with great hospitality.

The young lady did not even care about the appearance of those two extremely close hunters. He could guess, they must have just returned from doing the raid.

The ZC Group company has provided training to all employees engaged in marketing to be able to recognize which are hunters and which are conventional business people.

They are forbidden at all to underestimate a hunter just from his appearance, because it is very rare for a 'new' hunter to dare to enter the ZC Group to buy something there. All hunters in Kota T know that what ZC Group has to offer is a classy product. So, there would be no hunter with a thin pouch daring to enter there, including the two handsome men before him.

.........

The young lady then showed me all kinds of warehouses they had, ranging from the usual to the premium ones.

What surprised Alvin was when he saw some warehouses that turned out to be inside the Dungeon gate.

"wait. Is this the Dungeon's gate?"

"Right, Mr. Rufino."

"Why does your company rent out the Dungeon as a warehouse? Wouldn't it be dangerous?"

"Y-yes?" the young lady looked puzzled by Alvin's question.

Seeing Alvin's confusion, Raymond immediately spoke to him softly, "Bro. This is a Dungeon whose monsters have all been wiped out. Only the magic pillars were left inside that Dungeon."

Alvin frowned and remained silent for a while while still looking at Raymond.

"Ah.., I see..," muttered Alvin after he finally realized that the actual Dungeon gate would never be closed if the magic pillars that were usually near the boss area were not destroyed.

'Really, why didn't I ever think of getting there?'

["That's why this company could be rich. They see opportunities that fools don't think."]

'thank you.'

["Huh?"]

.........

"But, is this warehouse in the form of a Dungeon really safe?" ask Alvin again.

"It's very safe, sir. You can see here" said the woman while changing the display on her laptop screen.

There Alvin can see a list of gates and guild names that ensure the security of the warehouse. Most of them were large guilds that had previously conducted raids in the Dungeon and rented out Dungeons, with the intermediary of ZC Group, after 'cleaning' all of their contents.

Alvin then saw and learned about all the things that were on the laptop screen, which he had not realized.

The companies in S City did not rent out a Dungeon as a warehouse and Alvin only knew that such business was done in other cities and even in other countries.

["This business is a bit of a hassle. First, you must have a strong name to do this business. Big and strong names can guarantee tenants not to worry about losing the assets they store in it,"]

["Secondly, you need to find a gate outside the urban area. You can't possibly leave the magic gate in the residential area open"]

["Three, you must have many hired hunters to guard the gate of that warehouse."]

'How do you know all that? Did you go for a walk while I slept?'

["You forgot where I came from?"]

'Sorry.'

["Hey, what's wrong with you? Why have you looked so docile these past two days?"]

'It's okay. But, thanks for your explanation. I am very interested in this Dungeon rental business.'

["... Whatever."]

.........

"Are you interested in renting the warehouse from the Dungeon gate or from a building, Mr Rufino?"

Alvin rubbed his chin for a while, then chose a premium warehouse which was a 6-story building that also happened to be not too far from where he lived.

"That's a good choice, sir," said the woman somewhat stuttered as she looked at the choice Alvin made.

It is a warehouse and an office located in an elite area with a yearly rental price of 10,000,000 dollars.

Not just any rich hunter who can rent a building in the elite area.
