The Hunter System
Chapter 41 - Raid Guild Flames (2)

After the entire raid team members were inside the Dungeon, Ivory took out a monster magic energy detection device from inside her bag.

He watched the device very carefully and seriously before finally talking to his team members to set the strategy.

Alvin who really wanted to learn how a large guild works in raiding, watched what the team did carefully. And in just a few minutes, he was immediately amazed at the team.

Alvin has been in several raid teams before, but has not found a very professional team like this.

The team from the Flames guild didn't even talk much when they were already inside the Dungeon. They are also very agile in running what the team captain wants.

It was very inversely proportional to what the Association team in City S did. Associations that should be more professional than a guild, actually apply as well as they would when inside a Dungeon.

Alvin also noticed the way they went to the location of the existence of monsters carried out with a very systematic formation, which was also very different from what he used to see and do when he was in the raid team of the S City Association first.

The team formed a neat little circle as they were walking towards the monster's location.

All Tank-type hunters run in the outermost part of the team on four different sides, alongside Warrior-type hunters that run side-by-side in rather deep positions.

Support-type hunters like Mage and Healer were in the middle of the team, while Assassin-type hunters walked outside the circle, at the back.

'It turns out the way professional hunters go to the location of monsters alone can be this neat.'

["This is how it should be. Although it was very rare for monsters to suddenly come ambushing a raid team, but this formation was a basic formation that had to be done. So, if any monsters came ambushing, the team would not have any problems since the Tank and Warrior were at the outermost part on four sides. Assassins who are behind there can also directly kill ambushers. Isn't something like this usually taught in the Academy?"]

Alvin smiled bitterly.

'Indeed it is taught, but the people in the Association consider this a very silly thing since monsters usually never ambush a raid team halfway through.'

["They are ridiculous. Your raid team was hit by a monster ambush. You remember, right? If they were to leave with a formation like this, there would probably be many more survivors compared to the dead!"]

Alvin let out a long sigh as he recalled the incident. Just then, it was fortunate that he had seen a monster that suddenly appeared from within the bushes and immediately attracted Shiva to escape. Otherwise, he would probably have died in that place as well, just like most of his comrades had experienced.

["It's a good thing you met Bimi then. Otherwise you would have been dead."]

'Y-yeah... Huh huh? Who's Bimi?'

["He System Tutorial. Ckck... Have you forgotten it?"]

'...'

.........

Alvin was a little surprised when someone suddenly pulled his arm when he was still talking to System.

"Mr Rufino, please stay close to me, ok? We've entered monster territory" Ivory's hand on Alvin's wrist.

Alvin stared at the transparent map, then nodded slowly.

......................

The raid team finally entered the territory of a group of golem-type monsters and immediately gave a surprise attack.

Mage-type hunters give long-range attacks first with their fire magic.

After that, then the Warrior-type hunter advanced to attack the half-destroyed golems to directly stab their hearts.

That heart was the weakness of a golem-type monster. They would only die after their hearts were destroyed.

After the Warrior completed the task, the Tank-type Hunter advanced to head off the dozens of golems that escaped the first attack.

Simultaneously, a Mage-type Hunter with ice magic, attacked to freeze the bodies of the golems.

After the bodies of the golems were frozen, the Assassin-type hunters finally charged forward and instantly destroyed the hearts of the monsters.

In just 10 minutes of doing the same thing over and over again, dozens of golems in the first location were successfully finished off.

The way the hunters fought that was very systematic was indeed very great. However, the real Alvin was very amazed at the excellent cooperation, so could not concentrate on what was happening around him.

When the monsters died, he felt a strange thing that he was not expecting. The entire Mana core of the monster that had died, was suddenly absorbed into his body.

'Rimi, why did you suck up the core where the monsters were?'

'Wh-what?! Rimi, can you not absorb their Mana cores?'

'How far is it?'

["20 meters."]

'Dangerous. What would they say if I was away from the team?'

["Then stay in the group and enjoy the free experience."]

'...'

.........

A person standing near Alvin, turned to him and smiled mockingly as he thought Alvin, who was now pale-faced, was frightened after seeing their battle.

"You scared?" ejek Edmund's.

Being ridiculed like that, certainly makes Alvin very angry.

'This asshole...! Rimi, just absorb all of his Mana cores!'

<...> ["..."]

.........

The same thing the guild did in the next locations until they finally arrived near the Dungeon boss area only after conducting a raid for less than 3 hours.

Ivory returns to give her team direction before they go to the Dungeon boss.

Alvin, of course, watches everything they do and discusses it carefully.

'They are very good.'

["But they have a weakness."]

'They have weaknesses?'

["Yes. I really appreciate the captain of this team. He seemed to know that weakness and had already found a way for his team to overcome that weakness very well."]

'What is that weakness?'

["Wait. If they fail to set up a formation against the boss, you'll see."]

......................

Just like what the System said, the team was instantly chaotic when their formation had been messed up by the 3 monsters residing in that place.

The mistake started when the Warrior-type hunter could not finish off one of the golems that had been hit by the fire magic attack by Mage-type hunters.

At that time, Ivory, who had never attacked since the beginning, finally intervened. He attacked the golem that failed to finish off his Warrior team with fire magic that could instantly blow his body. However, one of the golems that did not manage to be frozen by the Mage hunter, had already advanced towards the raid team.

The tanker could indeed block the golem. But the problem started from then on.

The Dungeon Boss saw a small mess of the opposing army. He immediately jumped into the middle of a team consisting of Mage and Healer-type hunters.

Baaammm!!!

The golem landed between them while making the land tremble violently due to the magic energy he brought along with the landing of his body which was almost as high as the 3-story building.

"Edmund, move!" ivory exclaimed, when she saw Edmund did not seem to have time to escape from around the boss.

Unfortunately, Edmund who was still dizzy due to the impact of the Dungeon boss' landing magic earlier, did not have time to run away to avoid the monster's fist.

Baaammmm!

"Armghhh!"

The Dungeon boss's fist struck right across Edmund's body and made the hunter bounce very far away.

Seeing that, one of the Healers immediately went to Edmund to check his condition.

"You okay?" alvin asked, watching Edmund who was vomiting blood with a big grin.

"You... What the hell are you doing? Heal me immediately!" edmund.
