Chapter 50 - 5 Hunter Jobs (3)
Although Lex and Jack initially have a belief that Alvin will come to help, but Alvin did not return also from his out-of-town trip after the gate of Dungeon A rank appeared in City T for 4 days.
That made the A and B rank hunters who had been waiting in front of the Dungeon gates for the past 2 days start to worry because the person the Association chairman said would come to help them, he said, never showed his nose, either.

"Mr Brown. Who is hunter actually? Why hasn't he come yet? There were only 3 more days left until the Dungeon Break occurred. If we don't get inside the gate today, everything might be too late." Said Robbie Cale in an attitude demanding the dexterity of the chairman of the Association.
Lex Brown did not respond immediately. The middle-aged man instead glanced at Jack Paul, who had just hung up his phone call to Vina to ask Alvin whereabouts.
Seeing Lex's gaze at him, Jack immediately shook his head so faintly that his movements were only realized by a Lex.
Sighs...
Knowing that, Lex finally gathered all the hunters who were ready to do a raid two days ago to get ready to enter the gate.
"Lords. We're going in now." Lex told them.
Hearing that, one of the A-rank hunters who usually didn't talk much, advanced toward Lex.
"Why did we suddenly enter when the person we've been waiting for these two days hasn't arrived, Mr Brown? Where's the hunter you said would help us?" ask the hunter with a cold look on Lex.
He was one of the A rank hunters who was dubbed as the strongest in City T. The leader of the Devils Shadow guild, Revi McCoy.
"He's coming late" said Lex quietly.
"How could a hunter come late when he was so needed? We're in an emergency!" sahut Revi with a snarling sound stuck in his mouth.
Lex was a bit dislikeful of Revi's style of always wanting to intimidate his interlocutors. Revi has been known like that for a long time.
Lex finally returned Revi's cold gaze with a similar look, before speaking to her in a growling tone as well, "Remember, we didn't hire him. He just wanted to help City T!"
"Then why don't you hire a hunter from another city? Where is the tax money we give to the association? Please don't be like that corrupt S City Association chairman!"
"Revi Hunter! You..."
"Gentlemen, please stop!" exclaim Ivory who immediately stood between Revi and Lex. He could see there would be a commotion if the two hunters continued to argue. Ivory then turned to Revi and spoke again, "There will be more time wasted if you and Mr. Brown continue to argue here."
Revi and Lex finally stopped the small commotion especially when they realized the gaze of everyone including the journalists was now on them.
Lex finally turned to look at the hunters who had gathered behind him.
"Let's go in now." Said Lex, who then walked first towards the gate.
Getting that order, all the hunters who were about to do the raid finally went towards the gate.

Civilians who were present there to encourage the heroes could see the tension on the faces of all the hunters who would conduct the raid.
Usually, hunters will behave gallantly and confidently when they see many people delivering their departure as it is today. Now, however, the hunters saw the men as if they were delivering their departure to a cemetery.

While the hunters walked inside the gate, local television which was live airing the conditions in front of the gate released lists of hunters who would conduct raids.
Simultaneously, the camera crew also pointed their cameras at the Hunter-hunters who were walking to the gate.
The highest ranked hunter, A rank, entered first, followed by a B rank hunter. While B-level hunters who act as backup hunters, waiting outside the gate if there will be B-level hunters who are seriously injured and want to be replaced.
Among them are A-ranked hunters like Lex Brown, the chairman of the City T Association who is now 65 years old. He is a Tank-type hunter who also acts as the captain of the raid team.
The second A-ranked hunter is Robbie Cale. The 35-year-old man was a Warrior-type hunter. He was the head of the second best guild in T City, Iron Wall.
Next was Revi McCoy, a 38-year-old A-ranked Assassin who was the head of the Shadow Devils guild, the number one guild in T City.
Then Ivory Cruz, a 28-year-old A rank Mage hunter who is the chairman of the Flames guild, the third best guild in T City.
The rest are B-ranked hunters like Jack Paul, Joey Garin, Edmund Green and the best B-ranked hunters from the combined 3 great guilds of Devils Shadow, Iron Wall and Flames.
The Dungeon Gate which was an extremely soft magic spiral would harden like a crystal wall when 30 hunters had already entered through it. It was a strange thing that until now had not been found the cause.
When 29 hunters had entered, the media crew who counted the number of hunters who had entered asked the captain of the gate guard team.
"Why did only 29 hunters enter? Did the team captain miscalculate the number of his hunters?"
"No. Mr. Brown couldn't have done such a mistake."
"Then, why is there still 1 empty place? Wouldn't it be much better if more hunters helped?"
"That's it. Just shut up and pray for them to successfully overcome this Dungeon before the gate-locking magic opens or we will all die!" sahut the captain of the gate guard team with a riled face.
Actually, Lex did ask to vacate 1 slot. He still has hope that Alvin will come to help.

Alvin collapsed with a breath of gasp. All the bones in his hands and feet were broken. His ribs are also broken.
While he was about to die with only 8% remaining, the System continued to praise him instead.
["I don't believe you can succeed without the help of my secret powers. Congratulations, you've mastered the tutorial of 5 job hunters. I think you'll be very fluent in using all your jobs from now on."]
Hearing that, Alvin was about to laugh out of pride at himself. However, his fractured jawbone made his laughter instantly turn into a ringing.
'You've helped me a lot. If you hadn't given me much direction, that Assassin would have cut my throat.'

Alvin, who unintentionally praised the system, finally realized that he had mispronounced. He wants to meddle but is not able to do it because swearing and berating without making a sound really will not make him satisfied.

Alvin still continued to lie down while the recovery system and self healing healed all the wounds on his body.
Due to his extremely heavy fight, which left behind many internal injuries and external injuries, his healing process was much slower than usual.
But, when the entire bones in his body had been connected and fused back together almost perfectly, Alvin finally got up and went towards the gate.
["You want to go? Your state of vitality is still below 25%. Only your bones have recovered."]

Alvin finally steps out of the gate and reappears in the 5th floor toilet in Rufino's corporate office building.
A janitor who happened to be cleaning the toilet was of course surprised to see Alvin suddenly emerge from one of the rooms he just cleaned and he knew there was no one there before.
The unfortunate man who was very surprised was of course immediately fell to his feet when he saw Alvin's appearance was very messy and terrible.
"S-si-who's k-you..."
"The curious ghost." Sahut Alvin who then left left the young man who was still staring at his back while gritting his teeth.
