Chapter 77 - Uninvited Guest
"Then, let's go home first. There are a lot of things I have to work on," Jack asked after seeing that this was a good time for them to leave.
"May I speak to you for a moment, Mr Rufino?" pinta Ivory, before Alvin stood up from his seat.
"certain. What'sthat?"
Ivory shut up for a second. He was actually a bit hesitant to talk about it, so he tried to compose a very precise sentence before speaking.
"Regarding what my sister has done..."
Alvin sighed immediately when he heard the opening sentence, causing Ivory to spontaneously stop what he wanted to say.
"That has nothing to do with you, Miss Cruz."
"Y-yes? I mean..."
"My dealings with him and your dealings with me are different things" Alvin said. He already knew that Ivory had felt bad for him since he was still on his way to the Dungeon gate in the factory.
At that time, Alvin could see very clearly that Ivory wanted to apologize for what her brother did and Alvin did not like it.
She does know Ivory's good intentions, but Ivory has no faults and no responsibility whatsoever to replace her brother apologizing, unless the brother is dead and can't do it alone.
"Let her apologize for herself if she thinks it's necessary. And I'm asking that you don't force him to do that."
Ivory's speechless. He was a bit doubtful if his father and brother would come to apologize in person even though they had no more problems regarding the gate that Alvin wanted to open. It was after they found out that Alvin had helped them to close the gates in both areas of the Cruz family.
"I have kicked him pretty hard, after all" Alvin said, smiling cynically. But he soon felt guilty when he realized that the one he broke was Ivory's brother, "Pardon me..."

"Why did you take me to Miss Cruz's apartment?" alvin asked as he and Jack were already on their way to his rental bungalow.
"Vina asked me to take you somewhere else first when I called her to ask permission to enter your bungalow. At that moment Miss Cruz happened to hear it and suggested taking you to her apartment which happened to be not far from the factory."
"Did she know I fainted?"
"Y-yes... Sorry, I have to tell you the truth."
"No problem..."
Alvin furrowed his eyebrows, astonished by Vina's extremely unusual reaction when he found out he had fainted after coming out of the Dungeon.
"By the way, what about the gate in Cruz's courtyard? You want to shut it down or make it a storage shed, too?" ask Jack.
"You haven't closed it yet?"
"Yet. Mr. Cruz said that you could use it as a storage shed if you wanted to. So is the Dungeon near your storehouses."
"So he changed his mind?"
"Well... He finally realized that none of the S rank hunters were interested in helping even though he already offered a high fee."
"What's? Why is it like that?"
Jack laughing.
"They knew that the government and the businessmen in T City would raise a large amount of money in case of a Dungeon Break. So they turned down the pay the Cruz family offered because they knew they would get an even bigger profit in case of a Dungeon Break and were asked to handle it."
"Tsk... Are they more concerned with money than human life?"
Jack smiled bitterly. He glanced at Alvin for a moment before finally responding to what Alvin said, "The world has changed, bro. High-class Hunters no longer considered Dungeons a threat. They consider it an opportunity to reap wealth."
Alvin snorted in annoyance, while Jack smiled as he looked at Alvin's angry expression.
"I hope you won't be like that."
But, Alvin suddenly smiled cynically.
"Unless someone pisses me off like the Cruz family."
Jack laughed again.
"What are you laughing at?"
"No... It's just that, you don't seem to want to ignore the safety of others. You still came even though you knew the Dungeon was in their territory."
Alvin speechless.
What Jack said is not true.
He would not have come if he had known from the beginning that the location of the gate was in the Cruz family residence and would not have overcome his Dungeon had Rimi not made an impromptu subquest.

"Didn't you want to come down? Is there anything you want to talk about?" jack asked, as Alvin did not get out of the car after they arrived in front of his bungalow unit.
"No... I'm going down now. Thank you for driving me" said Alvin, who then got out of Jack's car.
Alvin was silent for a long time after seeing a car parked in a guest parking lot located not far from the rental bungalow unit. He knows that car very well.
Alvin also instantly knew there were two hunters inside his bungalow after he finally arrived at the doorstep.
He remained silent for a long time at the door of his unit, listening to the cryptic conversation that had taken place inside the bungalow before finally entering it.
"It was fitting that Vina didn't come right away when she found out I had passed out and instead asked them to take me somewhere else first," thought Alvin who knew his brother always worried about him but felt strange because his brother did not come immediately.

"You're back?" vina asked calmly as she saw Alvin enter the middle room.
Although Vina looked calm, but Alvin could see the worry in her eyes.
"Yes..," said Alvin quietly.
He looked at Vina for a long time and smiled at her to make her brother feel calm, before finally turning his gaze to his father, as well as the two guests who came with his father.
"Did your business trip work?" marco Rufino asked, as Alvin was sitting on the couch near his brother.
"Yes father..," said Alvin quietly, glancing at Vina.
The two then looked at each other and smiled faintly afterwards.
Alvin then looked at Marco and his two guests again, wondering in his heart how they could find the whereabouts of him and his brother here while they kept it a secret that they were in City T.
"Dad called me a few days ago. You didn't read my message?" vina. He knew his sister must be thinking about it.
Alvin shook his head slowly. He simply read Vina's latest message and replied to it before going to the Dungeon in Cruz's courtyard.
"What's going on?" ask Alvin. He realized there was something unpleasant that happened just from the atmosphere in the room.
"You'd better come with us back to City S" said Robert Xavier, who came with Marco Rufino and his sister Erfhina Xavier.
Robert and Erfhina did come specially to pick up Alvin and Vina, to escort them back to S City on the orders of Arthur Maxwell, the person who had been protecting the Rufino family from the cruelty of life in S City.
Alvin did not respond and instead turned his head back to Vina.
"I've said that we'll be fine here" said Vina, as if understanding Alvin's gaze.
Vina who knows Alvin is now very strong, from the stories of Raymond and Jack, thought Alvin wanted to keep his ability a secret.
He also said that Alvin was on a business trip out of town to offer a product of raid equipment belonging to the company they worked for and did not inform him that Alvin was conducting a raid to help City T, which was not the case, nor does it tell us that the two of them are now wealthy.
Alvin nodded slowly, then looked at Robert again, "What really happened? Why do we have to go back?"
"Duncan Lewis is back. He's looking for you" Robert said quickly. He then looked at Vina, who he felt did not understand the dangerous threat of the Lewis family because Vina had refused to return when he had explained it repeatedly.
Alvin nodded slowly.
Seeing Alvin's reaction that seemed to have also underestimated the dangerous situation, Robert and Erfhina looked at each other in astonishment.
"You know he's a dangerous hunter, right? He's now ranked S, after all" Robert reminded.
Alvin nodded again.

Robert grunted softly.
"Disregard the hunter politics that are happening in City S. You must attach importance to your safety and Vina's first. Go back to City S and settle down first at the Maxwell family residence."
Alvin shook his head.
"We can't live like that. Anyway, how long are we gonna hide behind the wings of the Maxwell family? Someday, they'll definitely ambush us when you're all off guard."
"It won't be long. Come back first because Mr. Maxwell will take care of the problems in City S in the near future."
Alvin didn't respond. Instead, he stared fixedly at Robert.
"What do you mean, Mr Xavier?"
"Miss Tia will be back in two days."

Alvin suddenly fell silent, staring at Robert almost unblinkingly.
