Chapter 2 - Inside the Dungeon
Although Alvin had a much lower Mana energy than Brondy, he never felt fear at all for the person who always bully and make friends at Hunter Academy excommunicate him.
Alvin immediately stood up and faced Brondy bravely.
"Hey... Oi... Never mind. We haven't even entered the Dungeon yet and you guys already want to waste Mana's energy here?" Shiva tried to mediate them, to prevent further commotion.
"What are you guys doing?! Quickly put on the raid gear and gather in front of the gate." Said a hunter in a loud voice and managed to make Brondy instantly lose his guts.
The hunter who had just reprimanded them was Nathan Logan, a C-ranked Association hunter who would lead the team in conducting the raid today.
Hearing what Nathan had just said, all the hunters began to prepare and put on the raid gear they had.
After seeing all of his crew in a combat-ready state, Nathan made his way first to the gate.
Nathan stared at the large oval-shaped magic gate with a slightly uncomfortable feeling. There was a strange thing that he felt was wrong on the magic energy emanating from the gate.
Slightly doubtful of the circumstances, Nathan turned to one of his colleagues, who also worked under the auspices of the Hunter Association.
"Is this really a D rank Dungeon gate?" nathan asked the punk-haired man.
"certain. The detection team has checked it over and over again, Mr. Logan." Legally.
Nathan furrowed his eyebrows and then left his waist while staring at the blue gate of the metallic night for a long time in silence.
'Weird, why is the magic energy so big? Doesn't this feel like an A-rank gate?'
"Captain, the team has been late for an hour and a half from their schedule" Brondy recalled seeing Nathan as seemingly hesitant.
Hearing that, Nathan let out a long sigh to get rid of his bad prejudices.
'Maybe I was too tired from barely resting in the past three days.'
Nathan eventually turned around and spoke out loud to the team he was leading.
"We're in now!"

The Dungeon was dark. The stars in the night sky that were blocked by the Dungeon area's magic barrier, looked blurry until they did not reveal their shine.
Some hunters directly turn on portable lights made of shards of magic crystals they carry to illuminate the dark environment they are in. However, portable lights that do not have too bright light can still not make the surrounding situation bright as they want.
The raid team ended up staying in that place for a few minutes while familiarizing their eyes to the darkness of the Dungeon surroundings.
Meanwhile, Nathan took out a Mana energy detector to check the locations of the monsters.
Up to 15 minutes later, the raid team finally moved towards the first location which was the location with the smallest Mana energy compared to the other locations.
Nathan chose the place because he knew it had fewer monsters.
"Mr Logan doesn't seem like a brave man, either" Brondy whispered to the fellow walking next to him, "If it's my sister, she'll lead us straight to the location that has the greatest amount of Mana energy," he added.
"See him. Always talking bad about others. They are much worse." Said Shiva, who walked next to Alvin.
Alvin turned to the girl and looked at her with a lazy look. Although he agreed with what Shiva had just said, they were currently inside the Dungeon. Finding a fuss in a place like this with a fellow hunter is a very bad choice.
However, Brondy who walked only a few meters in front of them could hear Shiva's words earlier.
Brondy stopped his footsteps and turned around.
"You want to die?!" snapping Brondy with a growl.
But, he did not stare at Shiva, but at Alvin.
"Tsk... You just dare me?" sahut Alvin who then smiled cynically.
Getting the mockery, Brondy steps forward to grab Alvin by the neck with his hand, but Shiva instantly prevents by standing in front of Alvin.
"What do you want to do? We're in the Dungeon. Why don't you just go get into trouble with monsters? Don't you dare?" Ejek Shiva's. Not only with his words, but also accompanied by a look that was very demeaning Brondy.
"Can you shut up?! We're close to the monster's location." Gary Logan, a D-ranked senior hunter.
He is also a hunter who works under the aegis of Asoiasi Hunter, just like Brondy and Nathan, his older brother.
Gaining the bluff, Brondy's guts shrieked for a moment. Although actually has the same rank as Gary, but he lost far experience in terms of fighting.
The mood was silent again.

Nathan and Gary investigate first to see what kind of monster they're about to encounter.
From behind the rock enough for them to hide, Nathan and Gary saw 6 golems sitting together, forming a circle.
"Golms." Nathan murmured.
"It'll be more energy draining for our mana, but better than any spider or other insect-type monster." Gary Said.
"I mean, can you feel their Mana energy?"
Gary shook his head. He's still a D-rank. Of course it could not sense the Mana energy as detailed as A and S rank.
"Can you feel the details of their Mana energy?" gary asked with frowning brows. He also knew that his brother could not.
As Gary had expected, Nathan shook his head.
"But, from the detection device I saw, I expected there would be at least thirty monsters here." Nathan tells what makes him feel awkward about the situation in this Dungeon.
Gary fell silent, thinking about the meaning of Nathan's words.
Unlike other types of monsters, golems could be Dungeons of the E rank, the lowest, until the A rank was the highest.
If the attendant from the Association did not check the gate magic properly, it could be that the hunter who did the raid would have mistook the monster rank, if they met the golems.
"Are they highly ranked golems? Did they check the gate's magic energy properly?"
Nathan nodded. "They said that this Dungeon was truly D rank."
Gary frowned. "Are some of his golems in hiding?"
Nathan almost laughed at the question.
"Golems don't like to hide like goblins."
"Tsk... I know it too. I'm just kidding" Gary said. "So, what are we gonna do? We continue the attack or just go back?" ask Gary again.
Nathan did not answer. He recalled the words of their comrades in front of the gate earlier.
"I should not have trusted that person and asked them to call the examiner and recheck the magic energy of the gate." Thought Nathan, regretting his carelessness.
He knew, the gate magic examiner might be lazy to check properly because their bonus was always on the corruption of the Association officials.
"Nathan?"
Hearing Gary's voice, Nathan awakens from his daydream.
"We go back first. I'll discuss it with the others." Take Nathan.
However, when they had just come out of the hiding place and intended to go back to the group, they heard a screaming sound from the direction where the group should be.
"Why are they so noisy?" gary whispered, suspicious.
Nathan and Gary finally run as fast as they can to get back in the group.
While they were still halfway through, the two hunters met a hunter who ran frantically right towards them.
"Mr Logan, our team is being ambushed by monsters!" Excited Nolan, the hunter who had just arrived after desperately trying to escape to find the team captain.
The armor he was wearing broke here and there. Nathan can also see a lot of blood around his mouth and nose.
"Damn! They were truly high ranked golems!" Nathan grumbled furiously.
Shortly after, Alvin and Shiva also arrive at their place.
"You're Healer, right?" nathan asked Alvin.
"Yes, sir." Alvin Sahut.
"Please help him." Pinta Nathan, "Me and Gary are going to the troupe."
Before they left, Nathan asked Alvin and Shiva to hide in a nearby rock mound.
However, while they were still on their way to hide, the 6 monsters that had been in the eye of Nathan and Gary, appeared from behind them.
