Chapter 26 - Joining the Magic Crystal Looting Team
“You want to go sport?”
“Yes. I want to get some fresh air for a while" said Alvin who has not completed his jogging quest today. He can complete other quests in the inventory but it is not convenient for him to jog there because the place is too narrow to be used for jogging.
"Be careful, the people from the Association must be going around looking for us."
"Don't worry, we're now in City T. They couldn't have searched all the way here."
"Are they not in the same organization? They could've worked with an association from another city, right?"
Alvin shrugged his shoulders. “I'm not sure about that.”
Vina had no idea that the City S Association had stood independently for the past 10 years and cut off the cooperation and networking system of the World Association. It was similar to a country shutting itself off from the outside world.
The S City Association did not even have any cooperative relations with the other cities that were around, even with their own countries.
It began with City S which was once very behind from other cities. A city that has no sea around it. Cities that lacked natural resources made their regional income very lagging behind that of other cities.
The very arid condition of the land also makes S City unable to open a farm. Until the city can only rely on its human resources to develop. However, there were not many things they could do with it as the S city was further left behind from the other advanced cities.
City S actually began to rise after the appearance of the Dungeon Gate 25 years ago. Its sizeable territory made them have very many gates for them to handle on their own instead of asking for help from other cities.
Gaining much of the wealth from the Dungeon, City S finally closed all ties from the outside world since 10 years ago. But, because of that as well, the hunter technology they had ended up lagging behind other cities in the country.
The Dungeon gate magic detector is one example. The tool is a tool that has been left behind for 3 generations of the latest tool. Because of this, the magic wave capture signal to measure the Dungeon's level is often inaccurate and often results in a raid accident if the detection team does not monitor the gauge for a long time.
Alvin and his raid team the other day were actually not the only victims of the gate magic energy measurement error. There are many other hunters who died because of a mistake that is actually very fatal but ignored it.
All of those things and everything that happened in S City was actually just the result of the greed of a family, who wanted to monopolize the entire raid result in their grasp.
They are a family that is now trying to build City S as an independent state with a monarchy system. Lewis Family.

"You want to get around town?”
Alvin stared at the transparent black screen before him.
While still doing the daily quest earlier, he suddenly obtained a new main quest from Rimi.

Alvin stared back at Vina, “Ya. I want to memorize the way around here. We will probably stay in the area here long enough.”
Vina grunts slowly, “Of course we have to stay here for at least 1 year. We've rented this bungalow for 80,000 dollars for a year, right?"
Alvin was silent as he remembered.
“K-you're right..”
'That's not a little money.'

He also deliberately chose the place because according to the System, the person he was looking for would pass through the place.
Alvin was actually a bit shocked when he saw the first part of the quest saying that he had to help Raymond and his team to complete a raid.
He himself almost forgot the hunter he had helped, but Rimi seemed to have saved the data.

When Alvin still wanted to ask the System again, he finally heard the chat sounds of some people. He could also sense the aura of Mana energy from them.

“Y-yes.., But, what are you doing in T City?” Ask Raymond again.
Alvin did not answer. He glanced at the 6 hunters standing to the left and right of Raymond, who were whispering among them.
They were talking about the news about Alvin who is now a fugitive of the S City Association. Nevertheless, there was no hostile expression from them.
“I'm actually looking for a team to carry out illegal raids or looting. You know that I'm now being boycotted by the S City Association? I am currently an unemployed hunter.” said Alvin, who wants to direct their conversation directly to the goals he has.
Raymond was a bit surprised but he nodded his head slowly a few times.
Being a hunter who was on the list of criminals and hunted by the Association was not a strange thing for low-ranked hunters like those who usually did the looting of magic crystals or raid frequently illegal in a Dungeon.
Raymond and some of his colleagues were also on the wanted list so often that they repeatedly had to pay exemption money to hunters from the S City Association who wanted to arrest them.
But, the case that happened to Alvin is a little different. He is accused of destroying the magic pillar and escaping from the Dungeon until all his comrades, who do not know that the magic pillar has been destroyed, are left in it.
However, since the Association did not have any evidence regarding it, the citizens of City S actually did not believe much in what the Association said through its official website. Moreover, the hunter they accused was only a low rank hunter who had also never made an experience point improvement at all.
That is, that hunter could almost be said to be only slightly stronger than an ordinary human.
"What do you think? Aren't you guys currently wanting to do the magic crystal looting inside the Dungeon?" alvin asked when he saw Raymond still did not respond to his words earlier.
Getting such a direct question made Raymond who was once saved by him feel a little wrong.
Raymond then turned his head and looked at his 6 comrades.
They were currently indeed coincidentally wanting to go to a Dungeon gate that the T City Association had yet to monitor in order to carry out the looting of magic crystals.

Unlike the six colleagues, Raymond instead forced his smile when shaking hands with Alvin.
