The Hunter System
Chapter 187 - The Black Gate Opener

Alvin clicked his tongue, looking at the kind of monster that had just come out of the black gate.

They were the monsters he least wanted to come to Earth among the many monsters inhabiting the planet out there that had all along appeared in a Dungeon.

'They are from the monster planet...'

Mina also clucked when she saw who had come to mess with Earth.

["It's really bad."]

'Who invited them?'

While approaching and finishing off the flying dragon and wyvern snake that could have burned down Rimi's army of flies that are still weak, and, Alvin watches the various types of monsters that are piled up in front of the gate and guesses who might invite these monstrous creatures to come to Earth.

From what he knows, there must be a creature, whether it be a creature, angels or gods from one planet who gather creatures from another planet if they want the whole planet to come to their residence.

For example, Beelzebub, a former angel of the white vortex, can invite creatures from the red vortex. That's why the gate of the red ring previously opened on Earth.

Meaning, there must also be someone responsible, whether it be a creature, an angel or a god who invites all the monsters that are currently invading the Earth from the monster planet.

This massive invasion was different from the limited number of monsters that came out of a Dungeon Break.

Dungeons also only needed one angel to create them without inviting the entire planet to come.

The monsters that came out of the Dungeon Break gate would not be this many either. Only a handful of monsters from a region, not all monsters from the entire planet came to destroy.

["What Anna said is absolutely evident. Since they can't master and enslave humans anymore, they want to destroy the Earth"] Mina lamented.

"The Art Of Killing, part 2... Dagger Rain's."

Alvin uses a magic spell, creating hundreds of thousands of magic daggers to chase monsters that have spread very quickly and escape the rampage of Rimi and his army of soldiers who have started the battle since.

Unlike the previous battle, this time, the army of costumed insects with robots looked a little difficult just to subvert a single monster.

The monsters were extremely agile, also possessing magic energy that was slightly superior to the insect army Alvin had already developed.

In fact, millions of flies who have just become followers of Rimi seem unable to face the monsters from the monster planet. Many of them have started to fall.

"At least the poison from the flies had a slight effect" Alvin said as he looked at the weakest army of monsters that seemed to stagger.

Although the monsters did not die immediately because they were used to the poison, but they started to sink because they were sucking too much different poisonous fumes that the fly troops spread right in front of the black gate.

"Is this just my feeling? Don't they look faster and stronger than when I faced them?"

["It seems that due to the difference in atmosphere between Earth and their planet that contains toxic magic. They can move much more agile here. Also, the air on Earth is much better than the toxic air on their planet."]

"I think that's the answer."

Alvin flew off, chasing after the wyvern troupe that had just exited the gate and darted quickly past him, heading southwards.

He finished off several wyverns with iron pegs, then chased dozens of dragon snakes that had flown far, also heading south.

On his way, Alvin followed dozens of other wyverns fresh out of the gate.

He stopped the flight, thinking that the wyverns were chasing him. However, they flew curved around him just like that, following the horde of dragon snakes that had already flown far ahead.

"Move in the air a little bit over me" complained Alvin.

The speed of using the airbender is only 20% compared to the speed if he travels by treading the ground.

However, Alvin continued to travel by air, avoiding forests and rivers that would certainly prevent him if he ran on land.

"Where the hell are they?" alvin said slowly while looking at the land below, hoping to recognize the environment he passed. "It's the direction to City T, right?"

["You're right. They headed for City T,"] said Mina after asking Rimi who brought all the maps that had been Alvin's guide.

......................

But, after he got there, then he knew what the cause was.

Many of the City T hunters were outside the bunker.

Thinking Alvin, Rimi and Cyntia had already successfully exterminated the Dungeon's creator, all of the hunters came out of the bunker to celebrate the victory.

Alvin did manage to finish off Beelzebub and the monster army from the red vortex.

However, without them knowing, there is still another attacker who is actually the root of the whole problem that is happening on Earth, who is the master of Beelzebub and 30 fallen angels that they only use as accomplices.

......................

Lex Brown, Ivory Cruz, Revi McCoy and Robbie Cale fight alongside hundreds of hunters to survive.

They just fight for it.

Those monstrous monsters were not at a level they could overcome by using strategy anymore. The comparison of their strength and the monsters was far greater than the distance between the Earth and the sky.

All the hunters did was run around while occasionally attacking from a distance to distract the monsters from the comrades that were almost preyed upon.

Until finally, when one of the giant dragon snakes let out a breath of fire, the hunters could only widen their eyes, waiting for the giant fire to grab and obliterate their bodies.

"The Art Of Killing, part 1... Return Gate!"

Along with a loud cry that rang out from the sky, a huge blue gate appeared right among the hunters, who were already resignedly waiting for death to pick up, and a giant fire that was flying to deliver them to death.

The blue gate engulfed the entire flame that was blown towards the hunters, then spewed out again with a power and size that was much greater than what he had swallowed.

The flames returning towards the monsters were no longer red. The blue flame burned all the dragon snakes and wyverns that were there, as well as those that were passing by to circle the blue gate.

Woooooooooooss...

.........

The ash from the burned monster's body filled the air.

Hunter-hunters who survived death, most of them fell with their hearts racing.

Some of them looked up, looked at the figure of the man they were convinced to be the savior of their lives, then cheered loudly in gratitude, begging the man's name.

In the sky, Alvin watched the hunter who seemed happy and moved by what he had done to them.

But, there was one hunter among them who seemed unhappy with his presence.

"Isn't he not part of the hunter?" thought Alvin.

His brows frowned, remembering that the person should not have had the resurrection of being a hunter.

Alvin finally descended from the sky, approaching the hunter-hunters who were cheering shouting his name.

"Mr Rufino!" exclaimed Lex, while walking quickly to Alvin who was still a few meters from the ground.

"Master Brown" said Alvin.

But, Alvin ignores Lex's helping hand to shake hands with him.

He evades Lex and the other hunters who are clustered around Lex, entering the crowd to come to the hunter who immediately runs away when he realizes that Alvin's sharp gaze on him must be suspicious.

The hunter ran very fast towards the forest, a place where he had performed a summoning ritual on creatures from the monster planet.

He was an ally of the purple vortex creature that had invited the monsters from the brown vortex to come to Earth.

"Just as long as those monsters fly here. Turns out they came to him."
