The Hunter System
Chapter 123 - The Recruiters From the Big Guild of Town T

"There is no item this time," complained Alvin, as he dried his wet hair after he finished bathing.

["There was nothing precious about those monsters. They are also just lowly monsters"] said Mina.

"Low monster?"

["Of course. You can also easily defeat them, right?"]

Alvin grunts quietly. The words were only considered as a comforting sentence.

["But, there are some monsters of the same race that are much stronger than them. The difference is in the horns."]

Alvin recalled the number of horns from 3 different types of monsters but still in one race the same.

"One horn means S rank, 3 SSS rank horn. Actually, how many types of monsters are there from that race?"

["In that race there were 6 types of monsters with different levels of strength. Just like the hunter-hunters of the human race,"]

["The strongest among them was the six-horned one and had a metallic purple body skin that resembled that of the bald one."]

"That's it...,"

"But, who exactly are the Dungeon-makers? You promised to tell me, right?"

Alvin heard the sound of a deep breath from Mina before he exhaled again violently.

["Actually the future hunters are also not yet clear who they are. But, according to the data collected, there were over 20 creatures of their kind who were responsible for the opening of all Dungeon gates around the world."]

"Twenty?!"

["Yes."]

"You mean a creature that is like a bald man and a blonde woman that is still 20?"

["The bald one is not included. I mean, that blonde woman. They should start springing up gradually starting from 5 years from now. I'm also a bit confused as to why they're showing up to humans so soon."]

"..."

["Hnnn? What do you want to say?"]

"One is that strong..."

["That's how... I know you're frustrated. But trust me you'll be able to face them."]

"Can I beat them? I'm not pessimistic. But. The aura from her magic energy alone made me unable to move."

["Don't worry. As long as you follow my lead, I guarantee it. That's why I'm here. As long as you can overcome them one by one, you will definitely be able to defeat them and wipe all of the Dungeon gates off the face of the Earth."]

"..."

"certain."

After Alvin allowed Rimi to transfer experience points, he heard Rimi say the word 'level up' four times.

"Level 112."

["You haven't leveled up in a long time."]

"That's because there aren't many high-ranking Dungeons I get."

["You can ask Rimi later. Rimi kept many future S-rank Dungeon gates."]

"...Why didn't you say it long ago?"

["I told you, later, right? After you complete the level 101 quest. Right now you're still gonna have a hard time dealing with it."]

"...Is the future S-level Dungeon much harder than the S-level Dungeon just now?"

["The coordinates for the gate that Rimi kept were only the coordinates of an S rank Dungeon's gate that had a minimum SSS-ranked monster warrior. Suppose there are 1,000 monsters as strong as your woman in one location. What say?"]

"Let's finish the level 101 quest first."

Mina laughs.

["You don't want to clean up your personal affairs first?"]

"Ah. I almost forgot."

["Those Dungeon makers gave a pretty big shock effect, right?"]

"...Nevermind."

......................

Cyntia woke up early. He immediately searched for Alvin but did not find his existence at all and only found a plate of breakfast that Alvin had prepared for him at the dinner table.

"Did he wake up so early?" Cyntia murmurs. He then read a small note next to his breakfast and smiled at it, "This is ridiculous. I can eat anything as my breakfast" Cyntia muttered again then laughed.

While enjoying her breakfast, Cyntia heard a noise at the door of the bungalow, before someone pressed the doorbell.

"Who?" Cyntia scrunched her eyebrows together. He could not sense any magic energy from the person at the door.

'Are the refugees back?'

.........

The four men who were in front of the bungalow were shocked when they saw Cyntia emerge from behind the door.

"Yes?"

Glup...

"It's so pretty" the four men's inner.

"p-excuse me... I-this is Mr. Rufino's residence, right?" ask one of the men while staring at the nameplate listed below the unit number of the building, next to the door.

Cyntia looked at the four men in turn, watching their extremely neat and expensive-looking clothes.

'Like recruiters hunters only.'

"Yes," said Cyntia.

The four men exchanged looks.

"A-are you Miss Rufino?" ask another man who feels a little hesitant because Alvin is not married.

He was also familiar with Vina Rufino because his guild had already signed a cooperation contract with their company. He knew, this woman in front of him was not Vina, Alvin's sister.

Cyntia was surprised at first. His face blushed shortly after.

"B-yet..., can't be said like that yet" said Cyntia timidly.

Degs...

'Stupid. What did I say?'

Cyntia looked at the man again. "Are you all there's a need with Alvin?"

The four men returned to their eyes after hearing Cyntia mention Alvin's name in a slightly different tone than just an ordinary friend or family. The look in his eyes, as well as the look on his face also looked different when saying the name of the hunter.

From there, they knew that the beautiful woman standing before them must be someone near the hunter who was in their recruitment target.

For several days they waited for Alvin's arrival after getting information about the man's prowess from their respective guild leaders.

Unfortunately, their attempt to find Alvin who went to City S failed because they could not find the information at all there.

So, when the guild master informed them that Alvin had returned to City T, they hurriedly returned from the evacuation, driving for a full night only to arrive early in the morning at Alvin's residence.

Unfortunately, all the competitors also turned out to be the same mind and this is where the four rivals from different guilds are now gathered.

.........

"Yes, miss...!" one of the men handed him his business card. "I am the head of the recruitment division of the Shadow Devils guild. We want..."

"Miss, I am the secretary of the Iron Wall guild," said another man cutting off the sentence of the division head of the Shadow Devils guild.

What they did was also followed by two other men who also thrust their business cards at Cyntia.

After guessing that this beautiful woman must be his close friend Alvin. They knew, if they were to be able to persuade this woman, there was a chance that they would get Alvin's signature to join his guild.

"Miss.., we have a very interesting offer for Mr. Rufino if you give me time to..."

"Miss.., please listen to me first. I'm..."

Cyntia no longer listened to what they said. He took the four business cards and smiled kindly at them.

"I'll hand over your business cards to Alvin. For the deal, you better discuss it directly with him."

"But, miss..."

"I'm having breakfast" said Cyntia. His friendly smile had not disappeared at all.

Cyntia actually had no problem serving what they wanted to talk about a little longer. But he had just sensed an invisible person touch his hand and he was sure it was Alvin.

"Then... We will wait for Mr. Rufino" said one of the men, pointing to the gazebo in the bungalow courtyard.

Cyntia followed the direction the man was pointing. "Is that not a problem?"

"No... It's part of my job. You don't have to worry."

"Not that. I mean.., let's see. Isn't the gazebo between two yard boundaries?"

"Y-yes?"

They stared at the gazebo and realized that the gazebo was standing on two different units.

"If the neighbors allow it too, I don't think it's a problem if you want to wait there" Cyntia said.

'Unfortunately the neighbors must still be in exile and you will not be able to get permission.'

He then waved at the four men before entering and closing the bungalow door again.
