Chapter 43 - The Stone Should Indeed Be Hard
Alvin and Ivory jump backwards to avoid a giant golem lunge.
["The woman will die if you let her fight. His defense on physical attacks was extremely weak,"]
["This golem has an extremely powerful magic defense and a terrifying physical attack for him. You be careful too. His level is above yours."]
'I understand. But, in what rank range was this creature actually?'
["If likened to the hunter in this age, he is between the A and S rank."]
"It's just worth it." Muttered Alvin, while pulling Ivory who became the target of the golem, with his net.

Alvin catches Ivory's body on the verge of colliding with him, then takes him running away leaving the golem, which of course goes straight after them.
"He's very strong" said Alvin, holding Ivory to run with him.
"Y-yes... Should we just ask for help?"
Alvin shook his head.
"I'll try to handle it myself. You go first. If I don't get out in 3 hours, please get help."
"What-what?!"
"Please believe me."
Ivory looked at Alvin's face. He could see the confidence in the man's eyes.
"alright. Careful, ok?"
Alvin nodded slowly.
He then removed his grip from Ivory's wrist, then turned to block the golem chasing them.
Alvin instantly fired spider webs at both legs of the golem, who noticed the attack and immediately jumped to avoid it.
The golem jumped high past Alvin. He seems to know that Alvin is a troublesome opponent because of his nets and chose to chase after Ivory who had burned him, also killing two of his guards.
"Damn. Can monsters also have feelings of vengeance?"
Alvin chased after the golem while continuing to fire his nets again at the creature's two legs.
After doing the effort several times, Alvin finally managed to snare the two legs of the golem, until the creature finally fell back. Not until there, Alvin shot many more nets into the body of the giant creature, until his entire body was wrapped like a cocoon.
["Don't use magic attacks on him. He won't be affected by it,"] The system reminded.
Alvin nodded slowly. Remember how the monster was also completely unaffected by Ivory fire magic which could even destroy the body of its bodyguards in just 1 to 2 attacks.
"What about the poison skill?"
["He has no blood and muscle tissue. His body was formed from magic. Destroying his heart was the only way to kill him."]
"All right."
Alvin took Miranda's dagger from inside his inventory window then used his Assassin job skill puncture and stabbed the golem's chest multiple times.
Cranks... Cranks... Cranks... Cranks...
Fireflowers scattered every time the two daggers in his hand slammed into the body of the giant golem stone.
But, all the attacks he did had absolutely no effect on the golem.
"The protective magic is very strong," Alvin murmured as his stabs did not manage to penetrate even scratch the body of the golem.
["Effort. It's supposed to be hard, right?"]

This time around, the golem did not want his opponent to maul just like that. With a loud shout, the golem fired magic from its mouth that managed to break through the net and hit right into Alvin's body.
Andnggggg!!!
Alvin bounced away and only came to a halt as his body struck and smashed a large tree with his back.
"Crazy... He spent half my health point with just one attack" muttered Alvin, surprised by the opponent's attack power, even though he had had time to change jobs and use self defense from his Tank job.
Seeing the golem trying to tear the net with his mouth now free, Alvin immediately ran towards the golem and attacked him again using the puncture skill again with Mana energy greater than the previous attack.
Cranks... Cranks... Cranks... Crank...!!!
But, his effort was not lost much in vain from the previous attack because his attack could only scratch the body of the golem.
His attacks actually made the nets in the body of the golem start to fall apart and the golem immediately attacked him again.
Alvin finally opened the portal of the insect army and used his locusts to withstand the onslaught of the monstrously rampaging golems.
Bangs... Bangs... Bang...!
The grasshoppers that tried to block the golems immediately bounced when the creature beat them.
Alvin also summoned his praying mantis to help destroy the body of the golem because he knew the grasshopper had a strong physical attack.

While the golem was being preoccupied by his army of proboscis, Alvin began to observe the monster.
He saw the two legs of the golem being knocked away while coincidentally stuck in the shattered webs that scattered on the ground.
At that moment, Alvin realized something. The golem was extremely strong but he had a hard time getting snares from his net.
"System, why does he seem to weaken when exposed to fragile spider webs but can survive other physical attacks?"
["Spider webs are indeed a bit fragile but have a strong sucker physical magic."]
Alvin nodded slowly.
He then used the spider webs noose again on the four wrists and legs of the golem, also on his neck. Alvin then asked the 18 surviving locusts to pull the net in 5 different directions.
He also took out and ordered his mosquitoes to continuously suck the Mana golem energy in his chest, before finally attacking the golem again when his Mana energy was already fully charged back.
Alvin fired another net at the chest of the golem, right where the mosquitoes were absorbing Mana energy.
After doing that, he switched jobs to Warrior, took his sword and stabbed the chest of the golem, which he had marked with spider webs, with the full force of his physical attack.
Vusshhh... Stab...!!!
The attack managed to pierce through the body of the golem stone and hit right at its heart.
The body of the golem stone finally collapsed after his heart that was pierced by Alvin's sword came to a halt.
"Wow... Two levels at once?"
["He is very strong and his Mana core produces a lot of experience."]
Alvin, who was happy when he found out that he had gained two levels at once, until he was now at level 62, suddenly fell silent when the System mentioned the Mana core.
He recalled that all the Mana cores from these monsters in the Dungeon had been absorbed by him.
"They must be confused when the monsters don't have Mana cores, right?"
["That's none of our business."]
"W-what? But it was Rimi who had absorbed it."
["You're asking a creature without a being to take responsibility? They'll think you're crazy."]

As Alvin was still thinking of a way to escape the matter, the heart of the golem before him suddenly transformed into a gray-colored crystal and gushed out from within his body.
Excitedly, Alvin instantly picked up the item and looked at the status window of the item that appeared before him.

Alvin then broke the crystal in his grasp to directly use the item.
"All jobs?"
["Yes. It's passive status for all jobs."]
"It's nice. I don't have to change jobs anymore when I meet an opponent who uses magic attacks, right?"
["Not really. It would be best if you survive by using the Tank job."]
"That's so..."

As he finished checking his status and leveling up, Alvin finally realized there was a person hiding in the bushes and was watching him.
Not just one person, but two.
Alvin turned his head towards the bushes and boulders that were some distance away from him.
"Who's there?"
He then saw Jack Paul and Ivory Cruz coming out of the thicket and from behind a boulder as he walked towards the site.
'Ah, I forgot how to explain my strength to them.'
