Chapter 68 - Surprising News For The Cruz Family

Alvin still did not believe what he had seen. He never thought that Ivory would show up there.

He of course immediately stopped his attack when he saw the woman he already knew as a very friendly and kind person suddenly hugged Billy with worry on his face.

"Bro... You didn't kill him, did you?" jack asked, after the car they were driving finally came out of the restaurant gate.

Alvin did not respond to the question and instead asked her back.

"Actually, what's the connection between Ivory Cruz and that guy?"

"What?"

"..."

Alvin kept staring at Jack who was focusing on driving, waiting for his answer.

"Ivory Cruz is his sister" said Jack.

Sighs...

"It's just worth it."

"What's going on?"

"He came by."

"Well, he said his sister was coming, right?"

Alvin nodded slowly. He also heard Billy say that when he kicked them out. But of course he doesn't talk about it.

"Billy Cruz and Ivory Cruz, they're siblings. They're three brothers and ZC's the initials of their father's name Zayn Cruz" Jack said.

Jack again continued, "The complete information of their family was indeed closed from the public. Not many people know that Ivory and her younger brother are the children of Zayn. The media doesn't know that either. All they know is Zayn Cruz and Billy Cruz."

Alvin grunted in annoyance.

"Does Miss Cruz have the same traits as her sister?"

Jack did not answer. He doesn't know exactly what Alvin means because he does know Billy but not Ivory.

sahut Rimi's. Rimi realizes that Mina also did not listen to him for being too angry at Billy's treatment.

'Well, whatever. I don't care about that either.'

"But, why would Miss Cruz bother being a professional hunter? Isn't he rich?"

"If so, I don't know either. But, Miss Cruz really takes her career very seriously. Mr. Brown might know the reason because he and Miss Cruz's father are old friends."

Alvin and Jack were quiet after that. They dissolve into each other's minds until their vehicles arrive at Alvin's residence.

After calling some of the best healers from her guild and sending her sister's friend to the hospital, Ivory goes to the restaurant's security room to check the CCTV footage.

He did not find out who had hurt his brother. But she discovers that Alvin has come to the restaurant and left just before her brother is harmed by an unseen person.

Ivory continued down to where Alvin had gone through CCTV footage and knew that he had entered the door connecting each corridor to the emergency staircase.

Ivory also saw the door open again without anyone being seen opening it. The same thing happened with the door in her brother's room before her brother was suddenly attacked.

Ivory leaned her body on the chair and let out a long sigh. He suddenly recalled what Jack had said when they had just exited the gates of an A-ranked Dungeon a few days ago.

'So he can disappear too...'

Ivory finally turned to the restaurant's chief of security staff and spoke to him, "Please don't report this to the authorities and the Hunter Association. Let me take care of it."

"But, miss Cruz.., what if sir..."

"If Billy or Reno insist, just say I told you to. Tell them to call me."

The attack eventually reached the ears of Zayn Cruz, the father of Billy and Ivory.

Zayn let out a big laugh as he looked at Billy and Ivory, who were also coming with him to the Association office.

Zayn turned to Ivory, who immediately nodded his head.

"Billy! Quiet down!" snarl Ivory, cut out Billy who was about to rebuke Lex.

Seeing the light of fire starting to shine in Ivory's hands, Billy who had been afraid of his sister was of course silenced.

Lex's phone suddenly rang. Seeing the one who called him Jack, Lex quickly accepted the call.

They looked at Lex's face that looked very serious upon receiving the call.

While Lex is receiving the call, Reno also receives a call on his phone.

Unlike Lex who is the host, Reno of course does not dare to receive calls on his phone. Especially after he saw the caller was only the head of the household assistant of the Cruz family, so he immediately refused the call.

The Cruz family fell silent upon hearing what Reno had just said.

"You're kidding me?!" billy said, at last, growling.

Lex continued Reno's obscure remark, as everyone was still staring at Reno in disbelief.

"There's an A-rank Dungeon gate appearing in the courtyard of the Cruz family residence and inside your company's magic crystal processing warehouse." Said Lex, looking at Zayn seriously.

"What?!"

Hearing that from Lex, of course, made Zayn and his children surprised. Billy even took his phone to check the truth of the information himself, but he didn't have to because it coincided with that, secretary Lex came in in a hurry and said the same thing Lex and Reno said.

Lex took a long breath. His face looks very grim. He then stared intently at Zayn, speaking again, "Now use your money to save your family and one of your companies. You know, the real hunter can help us get out of T City. Jack can't even find his whereabouts."
