The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Punishment

After a conversation with Kyle, Talia returns to the house accompanied by the young man. Talia had already told about her entire vision regarding Ludwig's plans. Now Talia understands Kyle's reason for always trying to get away from other people. His half-brother seemed obsessed with getting rid of anyone close to him. And because Talia was already Ludwig's next target, Kyle decided to stay with the girl all the time.

Arriving at the dormitory, Kyle advised Talia to avoid a quiet place and as much as possible with others when she had to go everywhere. Talia of course agreed with Kyle's suggestion. He was constantly alert all the time. Even at night he could not sleep well.

“We should raise this issue with the professor,” proposed Talia the next morning when he and Kyle were already in class.

“You think the teachers don't know who the real culprit is?” kyle spoke in a whisper so as not to attract the attention of Professor Li who was teaching about Basic Magic Theory. Talia who had mastered the material for a long time, felt no need to pay too much attention to the lesson.

“What do you mean? So the teachers already know who did it but they are punishing the innocent?” tanya Talia did not accept.

“No one dared to disturb my family. Whatever scandal Ludwig did, the school must have chosen to cover it up because of my father's powerful position. Even the royal family would not intervene for such a trivial matter.”

“Trivial problems? A student was seriously injured until he left the Academy. And now that Ludwig is planning to kill me,” siss Talia is inexhaustible.

“I think the reason Leo's parents pulled their son out of the Academy was because of pressure from my family. As usual, my stepmother moved quickly to cover up the problems Ludwig caused,” Kyle explained as he noted the lesson.

Talia sighed in annoyance. He put down a quill pen that he had been using to pretend to write. Talia only drew abstract scribbles that more resembled curse spells than lesson notes.

“So I have to be quiet when my life is on the edge?” the girl was desperate.

Kyle stopped his writing activity and looked at Talia with a serious look. “You're just avoiding the future you see. When will that happen?”

“That's the problem. I can only see the future, but I don't know exactly when it will happen. Maybe today, or tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. It could also be a month or even years to come,” said Talia while remembering the future greatness of Kyle who became evil. That's definitely not going to happen anytime soon. Seems like.

Kyle seemed to think for a while. “Then, we just try to catch the incident. Then we face it together, more prepared,” proposed the young man later.

Talia still dislikes the idea that she should be a decoy for Dirlagraun. The fact that the savage beast was much stronger than him made Talia shudder. It is impossible to defeat a Dirlagraun who is intending to*********** alive.

“You may always underestimate me. But at least you should know that I'm a Gothe, too. I have my father's blood and although my mother is just an ordinary person, it does not diminish my magic talent. I can defeat any monster sent by Ludwig. Thank you to him because I've been trained since I was a child to deal with those monsters thanks to his ambition to kill me.

“So you don't have to worry. Defeating one or two Dirlagraun tails is not a difficult thing for me. That's why Ludwig never came after me again,” Kyle said trying to convince.

It was the longest sentence Kyle had ever said to Talia. It seems the young man really meant it. Despite looking indifferent, it seems Kyle cares enough for her. But care alone cannot guarantee Talia's safety. He did not doubt Kyle's strength, considering that in the future the young man might destroy the Kingdom alone. But Talia still felt Kyle's plan was too crowded. What is at stake here is Talia's life.

“You can read his future again,” Kyle said without burden.

“It's not that easy, Kyle. It needs the right momentum to see the future without touching the person in question. It's not something I can handle all I want.”

“You can just touch it then,” Kyle again.

Talia breathed a tired sigh. “Actually you care about me or not?” the girl was helpless.

“I propose this precisely because I care about you. You have great skills actually. It's just that your guts are too small to harness that power, Ortega,” Kyle commented scathingly.

“What did you say?” the Talia sergeant who involuntarily let out a voice that was a little too loud.

Unfortunately Professor Li heard Talia's screech. The elderly professor glared at Talia sharply. The feather pen that had been writing itself on the parchment board immediately stopped moving.

“You love to make trouble, Lady Ortega. Cleverness is not always perpendicular to good behavior. If you do not intend to study here, you should just go out,” snapped the professor ferociously.

Talia gasped and could only sit stiffly without answering anything. He glanced at Kyle who was now back struggling with his notebook. The other children in the class had already turned their heads towards Talia with concerned gazes. Even Tina, Clara and Misa could only encourage her inwardly. No one can save Talia if Professor Li is already upset. He is known to be strict and fierce, especially in female students.

“What are you doing there, Lady Ortega. I told you to come out. Didn't you hear?” professor Li said again.

Talia nudged Kyle's elbow silently. He didn't accept it because he was the only one who got scorned. Kyle spoke more, but Professor Li did not mention the young man by name.

“I told you, Ortega. I am also the son of Duke Gothe,” whispered Kyle who instantly understood Talia's protesting inner voice.

“Do I have to use rude means, Lady Ortega?” gritting Professor Li for the last time.

“No need, Professor. I can walk out on my own,” Talia said quickly. He did not want to embarrass himself anymore by letting his body be flown out of class by Professor Li.

With a gontai, Talia cleaned her desk and walked out of the classroom and stood in front of the window. All the students who were there looked at him with diverse expressions. Some felt pity, but not a few openly laughed at him. Talia once again glanced sharply at Kyle before actually passing through the exit. It seemed that he was indeed no match for the sons of the Gothe family.
