Meet Friends

Talia chose to flee from Ludwig without answering her question. The girl immediately went to the dining room to eat dinner. Some of the new kids apparently already made their own groups. All children sit in groups with their new or long-known friends. Only Kyle was seen sitting alone at the end of the table.

...When he first came to the dining room, Talia unconsciously walked towards Kyle. It just happens automatically. Luckily, he soon regained consciousness before he reached his destination. Talia immediately deflected her steps and sat down on the other side of the table, away from Kyle....

The young man continued to stare at Talia sharply, like a predator looking at its prey. Talia desperately acted as naturally as possible so as not to attract Kyle's attention again. But in vain. Kyle had been watching Talia since she first walked into the dining room.

Shortly after, there appeared a Leo who walked over from the Alchemy Department table. Leo greeted Kyle and sat down before the young man. Finally Kyle no longer cares about Talia because he was busy chatting with Leo. Talia sighs in relief. I think he can breathe properly now.

“You're the first child?” ask a voice surprising Talia.

The girl looked over. It turns out that next to him now sits a child who is also well known Talia: Susan Muela. Talia circulated her gaze then realized that she was sitting too far away from her friends on the first level. He now sits in the senior areas of the second and third levels.

“Sorry, already sitting carelessly here. I will return to the ranks of the first level children,” Talia said as she stood up.

“It doesn't need to be so. I didn't mean to throw you out. Sit comfortably,” Susan said as she grabbed Talia's wrist.

Talia reflexively brushed off Susan's hand that was gripping her wrist. Susan looked surprised because of Talia's rude attitude. But strangely enough, Talia was not at all thrown into the future once Susan had touched her. She was still in the dining room, standing awkwardly before Susan who looked in shock.

“Ah, ma, sorry. I was surprised so unconsciously .. ,” let Talia regret her actions. The girl then sat back down next to Susan, and paused her intention to leave.

Susan smiled faintly and nodded. “Of course. I also apologize for suddenly holding you carelessly,” Susan later said. “By the way my name is Susan. Susan Muela's. I'm a senior of level three,” he continued to introduce himself.

“Talia. Talia Ortega's. I'm on the first level. Sorry for not getting used to the Academy situation and instead sitting here carelessly,” Talia said.

Susan nodded a few times. “It's okay. All children can sit where they like. But do you really have no friends on the first level?

Talia nodded small. “Not yet,” the answer is short.

Talia is not technically lying. Although he already knew almost all the children in the first level, and was friends with some, even being friendly with Kyle, but all of that happened in his previous life. While for now, there are indeed no children who know Talia in the first level.

Susan finally nodded with a smile. “Then just sit comfortably here. I also don't have many friends,” he said.

Talia knew that Susan did not have many friends because of her manipulative abilities. But Susan, whom Talia knew before, never used that power on her own friend. Talia also did not mind at all if she had to be friends with Susan in this life. Susan is a good and fun friend.

“Is that? How about we just be friends,” Talia chirps later. The girl reached out her hand to Susan. He wants to make sure that his power to see the future is no longer working.

Susan looked at Talia's hand in doubt. “Because you're a new kid, maybe you don't know my powers yet. So can invite me to make friends easily like this,” he said grimly.

Talia shook her head sure. “I want to be friends with you, regardless of whatever power it is. You're a nice, fun boy. I can feel it even though I just met for the first time,” Talia argued sincerely.

Susan was stunned for a moment. “Is that?” susan asked with a smile slowly rising on her face.

Talia nodded confidently. “Of course. I will not regret being friends with you,” he continued while raising his hand higher.

Susan sighed with a small smile. “Alright then. Thank you for inviting me to be friends,” Susan said as she welcomed Talia's hand. Both also shake hands.

Surprisingly, nothing happened to Talia. The girl tried to close her eyes as she shook hands. But when he opened his eyes again, he was still in the same place: the dining room shaking hands with Susan. Is Talia's power to see the future gone?

“You want to keep loving me until when?” susan asked returning Talia's consciousness from her complicated thoughts.

Talia hurriedly released her hand clasped awkwardly. “Ah, sorry. You're my first friend. So I'm a little too happy. So, may I call you comfortably, Susan?” ask Talia later.

“Of course. Then I will also call you comfortably, Talia,” Susan smiled.

Talia smiled and nodded happily. “Iya. Call me comfortably,” he said kindly.

Talia is grateful she can be friends with Susan again so soon. Even so, Talia's mind was still troubled by the fact that she had lost the ability to see the future. Why did his ability suddenly disappear? Talia should immediately find the answer as well.

After dinner, Talia was finally able to return to her dorm room. The room was exactly the same as when Talia first came first. His belongings have not been laid out and are still neatly stored in his big bags and suitcases. Talia has to rearrange her things tomorrow.

The girl laid her body on the bed. “What does that mean I also lost Smoke?” ask it to yourself.

Talia raised her right hand into the air, then tried to use fire magic. A reddish flame tongue was burning stably in his hand. His ability to control fire seems to still be able to remember. Not like it used to be, when Talia was afraid of using her fire power.

“Smoke,” sighs Talia trying to call her fire spirit. But, nothing happened. Smoke did not appear.

The girl sighed disappointedly and then coiled on the bed after turning off the flame in her hand. “So now I have lost the ability to see my future, as well as my fire spirit. Whether I should be happy or sad,” lamented grimly.

“Wait. I'd better take note of important events in the past to be able to estimate the same event,” Talia murmured again. He moved quickly, got up from his bed and grabbed the parchment and quill.

Talia started writing some important events in her past life. When she started writing, the girl was silent for a moment. “In this life, maybe it's better I don't be friends with Kyle. Because of me, she ...” Talia bowed grimly. Yeah, that's for the best
