The Ramona Magic Academy is the largest academy in the Western Kingdom, one of the four empires that swear allegiance to the Ramona Empire. Therefore, the students in this academy were from different regions. Talia was the daughter of the Count in the Western Kingdom. While Kyle Gothe, was apparently the son of the Duke of the Northern kingdom, the region most populated by monsters. Therefore Talia finally understood why Kyle had such a terrible nature. He was raised hard by his family. Even so, Talia still did not like it.
Besides having a bleak future, Kyle is also very annoying. Talia regretted having been lured to the young man's face. After finishing the reception ceremony, Talia turns out to be placed in the same class as Kyle. Even Leopold, the one who claimed to be Kyle's best friend, was in another class, but why should Kyle have such perfect grades as him? As a result they now also have to share the same bench as the winner of the highest score in the entrance exam.
Kyle's infuriating attitude didn't just happen when they met in the forest or during the welcoming ceremony. Kyle even sighed tiredly when he saw Talia about to sit next to him.******* which implies disgust, as if Talia was a disease germ to be avoided. If only Kyle knew that Talia felt even worse. He half-deadly wanted to sneer from Kyle, especially after seeing the future of the young man.
"You ... ,"
"Don't talk to me. I'm not interested in anything that comes out of your mouth" Kyle cut as Talia tried to be friendly.
Talia could only clench her hands while holding back the anger. That was how his first day at the academy only contained an unspeakable oath to his teammates.
By late afternoon, the introductions and class divisions were over. All students of the Academy get a special dormitory that is separate between men and women. Because it was too late, Talia had yet to see her room. He headed to the building with a lighter feeling because he realized he would not meet with Kyle for a while.
The room was quite comfortable. A wooden bed and a pair of tables learned from the same material to be the only decorations in the room. Talia doesn't demand much. He was satisfied with his comfortable bedroom. Talia's stuff was already sent by Shopie. Some large bags looked neatly barked in the corner of the room. Talia hasn't wanted to unpack her luggage yet. Instead of the girl actually smashed comfortably on top of her single bed.
"What am I supposed to do with that boy? Kyle ... ," Talia murmured to herself.
It turned out that he could not let go of his mind from Kyle. All the feelings were mixed in Talia's heart.
"He's a bitch. No wonder that his future is to be a villain that destroys the kingdom," Talia's timpal suddenly turned upset.
"But wait a minute." Talia continued her monologue while turning her body into a stomach. "If the kingdom is destroyed, then what happens to my family. My father was a noble who served the kingdom. Wouldn't his actions destroying the kingdom trigger a war? Then my fate and that of my family will suffer, "his murmurs keep turning their brains.
"Aahh .. what to do. Sometimes I hate this power" Talia choked in frustration.
For some time Talia kept thinking and thinking. He forgot his meal until his stomach rang.
"All right! It sucks, but for the sake of a good future for me, I will change your destiny, Kyle Gothe!" call Talia while clenching her hands.
The next morning, Talia left for the Academy with a shunt. He slept late last night thinking of a way to get close to Kyle, a cold, human-hating creature. After seeing the young man come first, Talia's burden felt heavier.
"Hello, Kyle. Did you sleep well last night?" greet Talia with a forced smile.
Kyle looked up and stared cynically at Talia as if the girl was an annoying nuisance.
"Are you stupid? I told you not to talk to me" Kyle said.
Talia tried to maintain her smile even though her heart harbored anger. "We are my friends. It's good that we can be a little more familiar" Talia said as she put down her bag and sat next to Kyle.
The young man only let out a short sigh and did not answer anything else. Throughout the first lesson, there was no chance for Talia to talk to Kyle. Basic magic lessons are boring. Talia has mastered all the basic techniques of magic because since childhood she often practiced alone in her home library. Talia's father is very rarely home. Talia is free to do anything alone.
Talia glanced at Kyle who was watching the lesson carefully. Unexpectedly the young man turned out to be very diligent. Kyle even recorded all of those lessons in neat writing. As important as the idea came to Talia's mind. He tore off the end of the parchment and wrote something.
Tear the parchment and put it in front of Kyle. For a moment the young man stopped taking notes and looked at the paper from Talia. Kyle's expression turned irritated. Kyle turned his head towards Talia so dramatically while glaring in warning. Talia gasped and hurriedly turned her face away. This strategy did not work either.
Lunch break has arrived. Talia was deliberately waiting for Kyle to clear her books. As the young man stood up, Talia followed him.
"Are you going to lunch, Kyle?" ask Talia cheerfully.
Kyle did not reply and continued to look forward as if Talia was not with him. Talia took a deep breath to extend her patience as well.
"I wonder what menu will be served for lunch. I missed breakfast this morning, so now it's hungry." Talia continued to chatter without caring about Kyle's reaction.
Suddenly the young man stopped his steps without warning. Talia also stopped in surprise.
"Why?" ask Talia confused.
Kyle finally looked at Talia, albeit with a threatening glare.
"Stop following me. You're really disturbing. Don't you have any self-respect?" kyle nodded in a low voice. Clearly the young man was trying to keep his words from being heard by the other students who were also in the same corridor.
Talia almost exploded in anger because of Kyle's hurtful words. But he remembered his sight. The ruined palaces, the dead. He has to stop that.
"I don't want to. It's up to you to say anything about me, but I'll keep following you and talking to you. What can you do to kick me out?" talia said boldly.
"You ... ," growled Kyle. Kyle's face was about to break if only he didn't try to control his anger.
"Why do you hate other people so much, Kyle? I didn't even do anything that bothered you" Talia protested.
"Your existence alone is very disturbing. Go, or I'll tell the teacher that you came with magic" Kyle later threatened.
Talia was shocked. "You ... . You can threaten a weak girl like me" Talia said, trying to act cute.
Kyle snorted in disbelief. "You? Weak one? Which weakling came to the Academy with a magic broom?" the young man did not want to lose.
"wait. After thinking about it, we met in the woods. I'm sure you didn't come to the Academy in a normal way either" Talia said, pointing to Kyle's face.
"That's .. You don't need to know," sissed Kyle annoyed. "Just do as you please. I don't care" he continued, walking away.
"Aha .. You're also hiding something turns out, Kyle. Let's tell me," teased Talia later.
Kyle refused to speak again. He launched his silent action and let Talia continue to babble alone. Talia was not too upset. At least now Kyle can't throw him away anymore.
