The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Sabertooth

Talia squirms slowly. That morning he woke up feeling refreshed. It feels like a new day. Ludwig had already agreed not to bother Kyle anymore. That means there is no longer a threat of attack from the young man. Now Talia's just thinking of finding a way to bring the two of them closer together.

Rather than that, Talia should also start thinking about Kyle's dark power. Today Talia promised to see Kyle. They will spend time together according to the promise they made yesterday. Coincidentally every weekend, the schedule of magic lessons is closed. Students usually spend time on free activities or visiting shops outside the academy.

Talia rarely travels during the weekend. Usually he just stayed in the dorm or played with Susan and her other friends. Even so, this is not the first time Talia has gone with Kyle over the weekend.

They promised to meet at breakfast. Kyle came first. The academy's dining room seemed deserted as students spent time in the city. They might as well have breakfast at a restaurant outside of the academy.

"Kyla!" sapa Talia who appeared with a bright face.

Kyle waved back with a smile. "You came alone?" the young man greeted Talia.

"of course. Who do I have to come with?" talia sat next to Kyle. The breakfast menu was bacon and omelette. Talia had to eat a lot to support her plan today. Talia's gonna take Kyle to practice.

"You used to come with Muela" Kyle said as he shook his glass of juice.

"We have promised to meet alone" Talia replied, scooping a large amount of omelets from a serving plate.

"Is that so? So what are our plans today. Are we going to the city? You can eat that famous desert. Or buy interesting items at the market," Kyle seemed excited.

Talia shook her head slowly as she chewed her breakfast. "No. No. gabe. We're not going to the city. Today I will take you to the forest. You already have the token of the Society right? We can enter the forbidden forest quietly, then train there," the girl explained with her mouth full.

Kyle frowned dislike. "On a holiday like this you really want to take me to practice? Are you so eager to become the best student in the Magic Talent Test tomorrow? Don't tell me you want to call other spirits too" he lamented disappointed.

"It's not bad if I have four spirits at once. But it seems like it's too much. I'm not such a greedy person," Talia said as she was.

He did not think of summoning another spirit. Having Undine and Smoke alone was already a miracle for him. Now, after Ludwig promised not to disturb them, Talia was no longer interested in strengthening herself.

"So why do we have to practice on holidays like this. We are not stupid students either. We've been at the top all along. I'm a first-rate student, if you forget." Kyle continued to protest.

"Don't be complacent, Kyle Gothe. Grabbing the first rank was easier than maintaining it. You have to try hard, Young man," Talia joked as she patted Talia on the back.

Kyle just squealed softly and then chuckled. "Truly you are ... ," he murmured later.

Even in the morning, the forbidden forest is dangerous. The trees that grew tight and so thick made the atmosphere of the morning feel gloomy. The sunlight blocked the leaves and made the situation in the forest dim. Fortunately, they did not meet many wild animals. Kyle was already on guard with his dark powers. Talia called Smoke just in case. The magic energy of the two of them kept the beasts away. Maybe the animals sensed a predator stronger than Talia and Kyle.

The girl also led Kyle to a more spacious place in the middle of the forest. The place he used to train with Ludwig. Talia's agenda today is to measure Kyle's ability to control his dark powers. Although Talia is also not sure that Kyle is willing to show her that. Kyle's expression was really bad right now. It seems like he is still upset about having to practice on holidays.

"OK let's start, Kyle," Talia said after they reached a fairly roomy spot.

"What do you want me to do?" Kyle asked back.

"Should we duel?" lulan Talia later.

Kyle immediately shook his head without hesitation. "I don't want to hurt you" he refused without a second thought.

Of course Kyle would answer like that. So how can Talia measure Kyle's ability if he doesn't want to be invited to a duel? If Talia had the ability to control beasts, it would probably be easier to train with those animals.

Just as Talia was saying that, suddenly a growling sound came from behind the bushes. The sound of rustling leaves being stepped on also gave a sign that a large animal was approaching towards them.

Talia and Kyle immediately turned wary. Talia still resisted his attack. The girl orders Smoke to do nothing, and waits until the animal emerges from behind the bushes. This could be a good opportunity to see Kyle's ability to control his dark powers.

A two-meter-tall large tiger with extremely long blade teeth finally emerged from behind the dense trees and bushes. His two eyes that were staring intimidatedly, accompanied by a snarl full of threats made Talia a little nervous. No beast tamers came with them. That means, the only way to get rid of the animal is to fight. But the size of this monster was completely beyond Talia's expectations. In addition, this knife-toothed tiger is famous for its ability to kill witches.

"Sabertooth," hissed Kyle who immediately stood in front of Talia to protect the girl. Kyle's dark aura thickened, indicating that the young man was already completely ready to fight.

Talia gulped bitterly. This was not the first time for the two of them to face such a dangerous monster. Even so, the threat that was before their eyes was truly real.

"Do you need my help?" ask Talia who has prepared with Smoke, the spirit of the fire.

"Just back off. I can handle it myself" Kyle said confidently.

Talia also complied. The girl then walks to a safer place, under a large tree, while Kyle and the Sabertooth face each other with hatred.
