The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Caught

Talia was no less surprised to hear the news. Events in the past have changed. Was that the effect of his change of attitude all this time? Since most of the beasts in the forbidden forest had already been exterminated, the place had become relatively safe for the students who were using the power of water.

The girl sighed in despair. Should he miss the test on the first day? That's not possible. The main goal is to get into the water element class. After all, all the children of his level have seen Nova who is preparing to leave with a fit body. How could he apply for permission in such a sudden moment like this?

In the end, Talia decided to continue to take the Magic Talent Test. The girl walked unsteadily towards the place where the test was conducted, which was the river near the valley.

"You're really going to leave? Are you sure you can handle the problems that will arise later?" kyle asked worried.

"No. I'm not sure. But how else. I think I should face it. I don't know why I don't think I'll be able to avoid that situation forever" Talia said as she continued.

Susan who was walking with them seemed confused. "What happened to the river? Wouldn't it be easier to show your waterbending talent near a river?" ask the girl curious.

Talia just sighed softly and then shook her head. "It's okay, Susan. Youre right. It would be easier to face the creature with the breath of fire near the river," he muttered reassuredly.

Susan is confused. "Creature? What creatures? What are you talking about?"

Talia just smiled as she looked at her best friend. He did not know if after this he could still meet Susan again or not. Therefore Talia decided to say goodbye. "Thank you for all this time, Susan. You are my best friend" said the girl sincerely.

"Huh? Why are you talking like that. As if it would go far away. You will only take the Magic Talent Test. Are you too nervous?" susan asked worriedly.

Talia nodded briefly. "Looks like. I'm just too nervous. Then I'll go first, Susan. Our direction is different. Good bye."

Without waiting for Susan to answer, Talia then darted towards the exam spot. Kyle followed the girl away while Susan could only stare at the backs of her two best friends while dumbstruck.

At the lips of the forbidden forest, the crowd of Department Enchanter children who were about to take the examination had already gathered. Professor Theia, the Head of the Enchanter Department stood in front of the line of children with a stern expression. He counted the number of his disciples until everyone was present without exception.

Talia hid the fact that she already had a magic token as access to the forbidden forest. Therefore when the professor distributed the new token, Talia accepted it without much comment. Only Kyle kept glancing at the girl with a face full of worry.

"It's still not too late to go, Talia," whispered Kyle near his best friend's face.

"I'll just call the Undine and ask permission to return first to the Dormitory" Talia said, looking for an exit.

Kyle was already about to argue again, but Professor Theia's blaring voice was already reverberating. The professor asked all the children to march and start entering the forbidden forest in turns.

"Everything is lined up that is rapid and follow the existing path. No child should be out of line when entering the forbidden forest" Professor Theia ordered.

He then guided the line of disciples through the transparent magic barrier and began to enter the forest quietly. No children spoke throughout the trip. That's why Kyle can't advise Talia anymore. There was only the sound of rustling leaves being trampled along their journey.

In Thalia's heart, a sense of anxiety and uneasiness began to rage. The girl recalled the sound of the dragon hissing and her experience of dying before this. Cold sweat began to wet Talia's hands. His nervousness also emanated from the pale face.

Without feeling it, they finally reached the slope of the valley, where a clear river flowed quietly. This river separated the forbidden forest area with the valley mountains surrounding the eastern part of the Academy.

Talia then spread her gaze. So far, nothing strange has happened. The students began to progress in turn to show their talent of controlling water. Some turn water into ice swords, others make river water dance rhythmically. The girl did not pay much attention to her old friends who were undergoing the exam. Instead his mind was just focused on waiting for his turn to arrive. He wanted to get out of that place immediately.

Just as Kyle's turn advanced, Talia suddenly felt that sensation. The state in which he is at the tip of the horn. When his anxiety peaked, suddenly a rumbling sound followed by a great earthquake struck the place.

Without needing to be told, Talia instantly recognized the situation. The girl looked at Kyle in panic while her other friends were already shouting at each other in fear. Kyle, also aware of the danger, grabs Talia's hand and drags the girl away. Luckily Talia has been using gloves made by Leo that are specially ordered since the ability oraclenya back. Therefore Talia need not be thrown into Kyle's future.

The two of them ran like fidelity, piercing through the dense forest while the other children frantically scattered in all directions. Professor Theia's voice trying to calm the situation was not heard at all. Everyone panicked and thought only of their own safety.

Not until half way through the forest, the sound of roars and giant wing flaps sounded from behind Talia's back. The dragon has come out! Talia and Kyle speed up their steps and realize that running on foot will only get them caught soon.

Talia also called her broomstick, then streaked as fast as lightning through the lush forest hull. Kyle followed him from behind. Euphoria, Talia's wind spirit, is called upon to make it easier for the girl to control the speed and direction of her flight. Talia tried hard to calm her panicked self. He must focus on escaping because he knows that the dragon is indeed eyeing him. But where should he go?

Talia's flying speed was already at its maximum threshold. Kyle was left behind there while Talia was already barely out of the forest. Talia had already reached the lips of the forest when a sudden burst of unusually large flames ambushed her from the front. The dragon was already in front of Talia!
