Talia banged on Madam Hudges' bedroom door in a panic. It took a while until finally the housekeeper appeared in his nightgown. Madam Hudges's face still looks sleepy and she was confused when she saw many dormitory children who had gathered in front of her room.
“What are these nights like Lady Ortega?” ask Madam Hudges while wearing her thick glasses.
“Susan ... this ... she was attacked ...pterotos ... ,” Talia said stammered. His breath was still puffed up due to panic.
Madam Hudges finally realized the existence of Susan who had been cowering in pain while hugging her hand. Seeing the ulcer on Susan's hand, the housekeeper hurriedly told them to come in and disperse the crowd of other disinterested children.
After being in Madam Hudges' room, Talia and Susan were told to sit in the living room. Meanwhile Madam Hudges wrote something on the parchment, opened the window, then flew the parchment with magic.
“I've called the health care worker. You guys wait here. What exactly happened?” ask Madam Hudges who has now lost her drowsiness.
Talia recounted all their experiences just now, except for the fact that Ludwig did it. Madam Hudges took Talia's story seriously, then began to get angry because such an incident could happen in her dorm.
Madam Hudges continued to grumble until finally a flying stretcher arrived in front of Madam Hudges' room. The old woman immediately told Susan to go up on a stretcher to the health room. Madam Hudges will accompany Susan to the medical room. Talia, meanwhile, was asked to return to the room.
The girl insisted on going to the infirmary, but Madam Hudges banned her because it was already midnight. Finally, with a heavy heart, Talia returned to her room. Some of the dormitory children were still seen clustered in the corridor. They were in droves questioning Talia about the incident just now. But Talia was too tired to talk to them.
Finally, after apologizing, Talia left the children in the corridor and went into her own room. How shocked Talia was when she opened the door to her room and found Kyle already sitting on her bed.
“Kyle?” peekik Talia was shocked. The girl hurriedly closed the door of her room so that no one would see Kyle there.
The young man got up and walked over to Talia. “Is everything okay? I'm here because I'm worried,” Kyle said worriedly.
Talia bowed moodyly. “It ... I'm fine. His pterotos were also successfully exterminated. But ... Susan is injured,” sigh the girl is sad.
Kyle grabbed Talia's fingers and held her warmly. “Muela must be fine. Believe this. You must be tired. Be rested. I've made sure that Ludwig is no longer anywhere near here,” the young man's light is soft.
Talia nodded slowly. The girl walked to her bed and lay down. Tears poured out on his face. It felt like all his fear, anxiety and bitterness had just popped up simultaneously.
Kyle sat on the side of Talia's bed and still clasped the girl's hand. Eventually Talia fell asleep after crying. When I woke up the next day, Kyle was gone. He prepared to go to the Academy grimly. Talia plans to visit Susan in the infirmary before class starts.
As usual, Kyle and Leo were already waiting in front of the dormitory. The three of them walked towards the health room in a gloomy atmosphere. It seems that Leo was also hit because the incident might make him remember the assault of the dirlagraun against himself.
Health workers let them into the room where Susan was being treated. The girl looked fresher now, no longer curled up in pain. His injured hand was wrapped in a white cloth and could already be moved normally.
“You're coming?” greet Susan bright.
“How are you doing, Susan?” ask Talia who was standing by Susan's bed.
“You better focus on recovery, Muela. I'll take care of my brother,” timpal Kyle with sparkling eyes.
“You two, stop. Don't provoke him again. You know what happens when Ludwig is upset,” between Talia is worried.
“The professors also sided with him,” Leo added.
“Still we have to find a way to make him pay for his deeds. This is not fair. Just because he's the son of a Duke, doesn't mean he can behave as he pleases. I mean your brother.” Susan looked at Kyle again.
“We rarely agree, Mulea. Surprisingly for this matter, I agree with you.” Kyle agreed.
“Already, already. We better get back to class first. The lesson hours are about to begin. We didn't even get breakfast.” Talia again eyed the vengeful spirit of Kyle and Susan.
“Alright, come.” Kyle and Ludwig nodded in agreement.
“Recover soon and play with us again, Susan,” Talia said as she clasped Susan's fingers.
His friend nodded slowly and smiled. Talia, Kyle and Leo leave the health room and go to their respective classes. That day, not many things happened, but Talia felt herself being watched several times. The uncomfortable feeling continued even into the next day.
The morning after the pterotos attack, Talia is shocked by Kyle's chaotic appearance. His face was bruised and wounded. Even one of his hands was wrapped in cloth. There was a bite scar on the young man's arm.
Talia could already guess what happened. Kyle must have had a fight with his brother. Along the way to the dining room, Talia kept nagging Kyle for her rash actions. Even so, Susan, who had finally been left untreated in the infirmary, supported Kyle's actions.
Arriving in the dining room, Talia witnessed Ludwig who also did not lose his glass. Ludwig's injuries were a little worse than Kyle's. He and his entourage stared intently at Kyle from the Beast Tamer table.
Talia felt the intense gaze then realized her uneasy feeling from yesterday. Does Ludwig have the ability to see from a distance?
“You why?” kyle asked as he realized Talia was dumbstruck silently staring at his steaming soup bowl.
Talia took a deep breath. “What by chance, Ludwig has the ability to see remotely?” The question just slid from Talia's mouth.
“Why? Do you feel watched?” kyle asked back.
Talia did not answer. He only glanced at the table of Ludwig and his friends. They were still watching Kyle sharply. Talia shuddered back. I don't know why she feels uncomfortable. Even so, he should not make his friends anxious at such an uncertain thing.
“Nothing,” Talia muttered with forced smile.
Kyle, Leo and Susan were just watching the girl. The three of them clearly knew that Talia was hiding something.
