Talia tells of Louis' plan to send pterotos to his house. Susan sizzled angrily at the news. She offers Talia to stay in her room for a few days. Talia could have accepted the offer. But the girl still had to practice a lot for her magic to improve. He cannot always depend on others. Finally, Susan also helped Talia train her fire magic.
“As I taught you yesterday, just imagine those tongues of fire dancing in your palm. Slowly, drain your energy to that point,” Kyle said as he sent his magic energy into Talia's hands, helping her to remain stable.
“If you do it like that, Gothe, his wild animal is out gouging Talia's eyes,” Susan commented sarcastically.
“Don't just denounce, Muela. Do you have a better technique than making Talia burn half the hostel?” timpal Kyle is no less cynical.
“Just point your finger at the beast, and burn without hesitation,” Susan said as she practiced her words. He held his index finger up. A burst of fire emerged from his fingertips, then slid straight up to hit the stone roof.
After she finished doing the action, Muela blew her index finger in style. “Like that,” chirps proudly.
Talia could only gawk at him. If it was water or wind magic, maybe Talia could do it easily. It can even bring in a small tornado if it wants to. But the fire element has always been his biggest obstacle.
“You should first compress the magic energy until it is really strong.” Kyle suddenly made a bluish fireball over his right palm. The ball whirls in such a way that it reaches the size of a rugby ball.
“After being strong enough, you just threw it towards the target, and ..” BAM!
A loud explosive sound rang out from the end of the stone room. Kyle did as he said. The fireball in his hand he just threw it so that it hit one of the old marble tables that were lying in the corner. The table just exploded, leaving a puff of smoke and scorched stains.
Talia and Susan were speechless. For a few seconds, the two of them could only watch the poor oval marble table, crumbling without doing anything wrong.
“What are you two doing now? Are we here to fight power?” Talia folded her hands to the front of her chest and stared intently at Kyle and Susan in turn.
Both of his friends immediately realized their mistake. Kyle cleared his throat awkwardly, while Susan instead grimaced regretfully.
“Sorry, sorry, Talia. I got carried away. Ah, you better learn slowly first. Now try to put a flame in your hand. Small,” Susan said as she walked closer.
“If Leo were here, he might have made you a useful tool for self-protection,” Kyle choked as he threw his body onto the sofa.
Susan stopped her steps. “From what I've heard, it's rumored that Dean Leopold is going back to the Academy. The kids at the club talked about it. He said, as soon as he recovered, Dean himself begged Duke Gothe to be able to return to the Academy,” Susan recalled.
“Leo ... to Academy … ? Meet with dad too?” Kyle looked surprised. Which one made him even more shocked: the news that his best friend was going back to the Academy, or about Leo pleading with his father.
“So you don't even know how it is, yeah, Gothe. It's worth it that you're nicknamed an onion in your family,” Susan said, ruffling her waist.
Kyle breathed a response. “At least now I know,” sergeant is upset.
Talia tried to melt the atmosphere. “Isn't that good news? We can get together again with Leo,” said the girl cheerfully.
Talia bowed moodyly. Susan's words have a point. Even so, Leo is a genius child. He must have a plan after returning to the Academy.
“I'll try harder,” screeches Talia later. The girl raised her hand to make a fire. He trained hard until lunch was over.
The next lesson went on without any significant problems. Unfortunately Talia's power has been drained because it constantly tries to do fire magic. So far he has managed to burn the edges of the maroon sofa, a worn wooden table turned into charcoal and just make a metal tube heat up. Kyle gave an example by melting a similar tube. The young man said that if he wanted to kill the pterotos, at least Talia would have to make it into a roast.
Time passes quickly. Suddenly the clock came home. Talia and Kyle rushed towards the secret room to continue their training. Susan followed in a hurry from the third floor. The three of them also walked together towards the Alchemy Department building.
Their journey did not encounter many obstacles. Talia didn't need to use her vanishing Crystal to avoid anyone. Finally they arrived at the door of the secret room. As usual, Kyle opened the stone door with a circle of transmutes. The door opened slowly.
Once inside the room, they were surprised by the presence of a young man who looked familiar.
“Leo?!” peekik Talia did not expect.
Leo waved one hand with a smile. “Let's leave some time, but this room is fucked up, Kyle. And now you also bring two beautiful Misses to this simple place,” Leo said with a nosy grin.
Kyle did not answer Leo's words. The young man simply walked over while smiling with relief. The old friend hugged me briefly.
“I heard you went to see dad,” asked Kyle after taking off his arms.
“That's. My parents insisted that your stepmother, Duchess Gothe, ask me to resign. The only person I can ask for help is only Duke. That's why I was desperate to see him as soon as my condition improved,” Kyle explained later. “By the way you don't want to introduce me to our new friend?” Leo glanced at Susan who was looking at him curiously.
It is clear that the soul of journalist Susan is now tempestuous. Susan looks like she's about to pounce on Leo and poke him with a lot of interview questions.
“Susan Muela,” Susan said without waiting for Kyle's answer. The girl did a polite curtsy. Graceful movement as greeting introduction.
“Uh .. Dean Leopold. You can call me Leo,” Leo said misbehaved. She did not think Susan was so aggressive. Even so, Leo still returned Susan's curtsy by bowing his body.
“I'd rather call you Dean. It feels more familiar. That's also if you don't mind.” Susan stood up straight again. Now his hands are stretched out to greet Dean more casually.
Dean cleared his throat awkwardly. The young man was not used to facing such a confident lady. Nervously, Susan's hand was welcomed. They also shake hands.
“The Dean call ... somewhat … . But it's up to you. Call as comfortable as you are,” Leo said later.
Talia looked at Susan's eyes glittering. A satisfied smile was on the girl's face. Talia might have just misseen.
