Talia observed the arrow for a while. After his shock subsided, he then realized that at the end of the arrow there was a letter tied. Talia turned her head in all directions, looking for the figure that shot the arrow. But his view was so dark. He could see nothing in the forest.
Finally, venturing out, Talia picked up the letter embedded at the end of the arrow. The yellowish parchment is neatly tied there. He tried to take it and opened the parchment.
The pink rabbit
Run when predators see you. Or you can fight back and turn into a predator.
That's the only writing on the parchment. Talia had not been able to understand his point when she suddenly heard a growling sound not far from there. Talia turned wary. He immediately stood up and sharpened his senses well.
The sound of the growl was heard getting closer, followed by the sound of rustling dry leaves being stepped on. Something was approaching towards him. Talia swept her gaze around. Unfortunately, he could see nothing in the darkness.
Finally, Talia did the only thing that made the most sense to do at such a time: she cast fire magic in the palm of the hand. The small flame managed to illuminate Talia's gaze up to a radius of two meters around her. Talia had not seen anything, but as the fire was burning, the growling and the whispering of the leaves paused for a moment.
Talia twisted her body, looking for a moving figure nearby. His eyes were then pounded on a four-legged creature that stood a meter and a half in front of him. The creature had a dense gray fur with a muzzle full of terrible fangs. His red eyes stared giddily at Talia, ready to pounce.
“Di ... dire wolf,” murmured Talia in disbelief.
In front of him, now stood a gigantic ancient wolf that was extremely ferocious. Dire wolf is the most ferocious predator in the snowy northern forest. The speed and agility of the monster was second to none. Talia's trapped!
If he ran, the wolf could definitely catch up to him quickly. However, if he remained silent, no one knew when the wolf would attack. While Talia was thinking fast, the wolf's growl grew even more intimidating. The monster again stepped closer to Talia, and put on a pouncing posture. Obviously, the dire wolf saw Talia as an easy prey for his dinner menu.
With a quick movement, Talia immediately threw a fireball towards the monster's face as well as summoned her flying broom to escape. At least the dire wolf can't fly. Talia's surprise attack distracts the monster. The girl managed to climb her broomstick and immediately tracked the ground and darted among the giant trees.
The giant wolf dire roared furiously as the hunt almost escaped. He also ran after Talia and began to jump up the tree very quickly.
“Sial! Is this a wolf or a puma? Why can it climb so fast?” sergeant Talia while speeding up his broomstick.
The wolf dire was chasing right behind Talia, making the girl even more frantic. He tried to fly higher to get out of the forest. But the effort is really not easy. The higher, the tree branches grow tighter and make Talia's vision range narrow.
“Actually what kind of test is this? Do they intend to kill people?” call Talia angry.
Talia then remembered the note she got from the tip of the arrow earlier.Or you could fight back and turn into a predator.
Also true. She is a witch. His abilities were much higher than those monsters. That was why monsters could be locked up in the forbidden forest. Because basically, witches are supposed to be at the top of the food chain. He's the one who has to be the predator! Not those monsters.
Finally, after setting the heart in such a way, Talia decided to try summoning her fire spirit. Desperate circumstances usually make one's strength awakened. And so, while continuing to focus on controlling the broomstick, Talia began to create fire magic in her left hand.
It's not easy to divide the focus like that, but he has to train if he wants to be strong. Talia threw the fireballs behind her back, towards the dire wolf chasing her. But the dire wolf always managed to dodge.
On the attacks that had gone out of nowhere, Talia had actually accumulated all her frustration and anger on the fire magic in the palm of the hand. He remembers how he first called Smoke. He must feel strong emotions so that the spirit can reach him.
Armed with that experience, Talia continues to think about the things that make her angry: the attack of the dragon, Ludwig's cruel attitude, and the peak is the death of herself at the hands of a dragon. The pent-up anger accumulated and made the fireball in Talia's palm so great. The fireball immediately burned the branches he passed and made the large trees in the area start to be engulfed in flames. If left unchecked, maybe massive forest fires can occur there. But Talia doesn't care. He is still consumed by his anger which is now overflowing.
“Are you very angry?” Suddenly a voice sounded in Talia's head. The girl smirked with satisfaction. Call answered.
“Your atmosphere is very strong. I like it.” The voice in his head was heard again. Anger still controlled Talia, so the girl did not pay much attention. The only thing Talia has in mind is destruction. Whatever it is. He wants to destroy everything.
“I call you, Smoke,” infuriated Talia with a raucous voice.
Instantly after saying that, Talia turned her broom in such a way that she almost hit the tree trunk next to her. The maneuver made himself now face to face with the dire wolf that had jumped towards him with his mouth open full of terrible canines. The ancient wolf was ready to pounce on Talia and******** its meat with one bite.
But Talia had indeed been waiting for that moment, just when the distance of the dire wolf was close enough to her, Talia threw her big fireball forward. From that fireball, a flying phoenix darted along with a loud crackling sound that sounded extremely majestic. The firebird crashed into the body of a giant dire wolf and immediately******* his body with a fierce fire licking.
The wolf howled in pain, then fell from the top of the tree and rolled violently until it reached the ground. His body continued to burn even though the dire wolf was wriggling on the ground. Shortly after, the monster's howling stopped. Talia lowered her broomstick and found the carcass of the ancient wolf was gone, charred to ashes. He became a predator.
