No child likes to be around Susan Muela. It was common knowledge that Susan had the magic ability of mind manipulation and hypnosis. There was no secret that could be hidden in the presence of Marquis Muela's eldest daughter. Therefore, when they found their elder brother standing in front of the door of the health room, the three friends of Talia suddenly resigned.
“Ka, then we will go first. See you tomorrow, Talia,” Clara said as she pushed two of her friends away.
Talia was about to prevent the departure of Clara and the others, but they had already dashed as fast as lightning. Talia is alone with Susan. Talia cursed inwardly while thinking of ways to avoid being affected by Susan's manipulation magic.
“You don't have to bother my jeng, Lady Muela,” Talia said later.
“I told you, I'm here to do an interview,” Susan said as she walked into the room.
“I don't think it's too good to do an interview,” it's Talia trying to figure out a way to escape.
“But you said yourself that you were okay. Just a few questions, Ortega. It won't take much of your time. I just want you to tell me everything you know about this assault, including Ludwig Gothe's involvement. Ah, one more thing, the reason why Kyle Gothe could be in the right place and time to save you. Did you guys know about the Dirlagraun attack that day? How did you know that?” cecar Susan leaned in with many questions at once.
Talia's head suddenly felt dappled. It felt like he wanted to tell Susan everything right then and there, including the fact that he could see the future and prevent the Dirlagraun from attacking her. In the midst of this powerful desire, Talia realizes that Susan has begun to use her manipulative powers. Talia has to fight. But how?
“Speak, Ortega,” once again Susan urged.
The words had almost come out of Talia's mouth. Feeling so desperate, Talia could only think of one way to get out of the situation. He just touched Susan's hand. The last thing Talia saw before she entered the future world was a face of confusion.
In the next instant, Talia was already standing in a newspaper club room. An automatic printing machine driven by magic energy makes hundreds of copies of an article recently written by Susan Muela. Susan herself stood in front of the printing press with glittering eyes and an unusually depressed expression. He nibbled on his thumb nail and looked at the print of his newspaper intensely.
“This is crazy. This is incredible news that the academy will not be able to hide. Even the kingdom will collapse,” Susan murmured to herself.
Talia tried to look at the printing press and read the news headlines Susan was observing with all her focus.
...Explosion of Dark Energy:...
...Kyle Gothe Rampaged and Killed Nearly All of the Academy's Students...
... ...
Talia suffocated in shock and closed her mouth as soon as she finished reading the headline. “Cannot be. So Kyle became a villain because of his dark energy explosion. It happened while we were students. I have to find out what date this will happen,” murmured while trying to control myself.
“A, I just want to be more familiar with you, Lady Muela. May I call you comfortably. I want to be friends with you,” to Talia for the first ridiculous reason that comes to her mind.
Susan looked doubtful. He was suspicious of Talia. Better so than Talia having to be swayed by Susan's mind manipulation magic. Now the magic doesn't seem to work anymore after Talia visits Susan's future. However, it was not impossible for Susan to cast the magic again after this. Talia should keep a tight eye.
“Sorry if you make you uncomfortable. It seems I'm still a little traumatized by what happened yesterday. Because that's what I said. Forget my words just now. I'd better go back to the dorm and rest. Sorry for not being able to talk to you for longer, Lady Muela,” Talia said as she hurriedly escaped.
Susan still looks confused. However, just before Talia disappeared at the exit, Susan called out to her.
“Talia. You can call me Susan,” she said short.
Talia turned around awkwardly and then looked down politely. “Thank you, uh .. Susan,” she replied slowly then turned back and left the health building as quickly as possible.
It's afternoon. Night was almost here and Talia felt alert every time she saw the field that split the academy. He abandoned his intention to return to the dormitory. The shadow of Dirlagraun who attacked him yesterday still made him shudder. He did not want to cross the field alone. Kaerna, Talia decided to have dinner in the dining room. Soon, the other kids will be there too. He can return to the dorm after dinner, with his other friends.
The dining room is not too crowded. There were only a few children who were seen waiting for food to be served while reading a book or gossiping. Talia swept her eyes, but did not find a single person she knew. Finally the girl decided to sit alone at one of the tables at the corner end of the room. Lucky he brought his parchment and his quill pen. Talia can concern herself with the information she gets from the future, especially about what she sees in Susan's future. Kyle's burst of energy might be happening in the near future!
Talia tried to calm down. It cannot be frantic and rash. While recording her memories, Talia thought about many things. Starting from the possible causes of Kyle being brutal and attacking the academy to the palace, to Ludwig's evil plans against him. Gradually Talia was frustrated. He ruffled his own hair while sighing in despair.
“Wait. When I saw Susan in the picture of the future, Susan looked different. Susan's red hair is now just shoulder length.
While in the vision of the future, her red hair was braided in half along her back. That means it's still quite a long time to wait for Susan's hair along her back. Unless Susan uses a hair growth potion, of course. Talia tried to rule out the possibility because it only made her head throbbing more dizzy.
“Why are you writing so many of my names? Did you miss me?” ask a voice to break Talia's daydream.
It turned out that Kyle was already standing next to him as he looked over Talia's shoulder and read the scribbles on the parchment. Talia hurriedly squeezed the parchment so Kyle wouldn't read more. Luckily his chicken claw writing is hard to study. So Talia assumes Kyle may not have fully understood what those doodles mean.
“How did you know I was here?” sergeant Talia was surprised.
“I didn't know you were here. I just want to eat and see you sitting alone like a depressed person,” Kyle said as he sat next to Talia. “So why do you think of me so desperately?” the young man asked.
“A, I don't think about you!” kilah Talia was nervous.
“Lantas why did you write my name so much there?”
