Pim passed them both just like that. Talia and Kyle clung tightly to the wall so that the faun was unaware of the existence of the two of them. Finally, after the figure of Pim disappeared perfectly behind the corner, Talia also released her crystal magic.
“You turned out to have Crystals disappear.” Kyle commented.
“My father gave it to me when he came here,” Talia said weakly. His energy was completely drained. In a day he travels the future three times. His body felt extremely limp now, his legs as if turning into a very flaccid jelly.
Kyle swiftly caught Talia's body that was already about to slump to the floor. Luckily the girl had yet to release her embrace from Kyle's arm. You don't have to look at the visualizations of the future anymore.
“Are you okay? Should we just go to the health room?” kyle asked worried.
Talia shook her head slowly. “I'm fine. Just tired. We'd better continue our journey to the place you said it was.”
Because Talia insisted, Kyle finally complied. They walked back towards the Alchemy Department building. Kyle was addressing Talia carefully. Fortunately, the rest of their journey so far has been pretty smooth.
The Alchemy Building had a different complexion and atmosphere than the Department Enchanter. The building was built to resemble a mysterious old stone castle. There were many underground rooms or even towers where alchemists conducted experiments. The place was very quiet, in contrast to the classroom of the Enchanter Department which was always crowded. Instead of Crystal lamps, these alchemists actually used torches as lighting. Corridors with floors and stone walls are found almost everywhere.
Talia and Kyle went down corridor after corridor, down the slightly damp stone steps, until they finally reached a three-way intersection. Kyle stopped right at the center point of the intersection. The young man then put his hand on one side of the damp stone wall.In a moment, a magic pattern flashed dimly with a faint blue light.
“This, transmutation circle?” Talia muttered in amazement.
All this time he had only seen such magic patterns from books alone. His father was indeed an alchemist, but he had no alchemy talent at all. Talia Perah tried to create one of the transmutation circles to perform spirit summoning. However, his magic pattern did not react at all.
“Leo told me about this secret room. Said it was a senior Alchemist who made this room to be used as a place to conduct forbidden experiments.” Kyle explained while still trying to flow his magic energy through the palm of the hand. The light from the transmutation circle was getting brighter.
“That person must be very talented. Making magic patterns as complex as this, to produce a secret room is not at all easy,” Talia comments that have long since dashed hopes of becoming an alchemist.
Not long after, the stone wall before them shook slowly. Dust and small stones fell from above due to the tremors. Kyle removed his palm from the transmutation circle, then allowed the stone wall to slowly shift to the side. A door!
“Not everyone can open this door. Only the magic energy that was already recognized could open it. Leo put my magic essence into the transmutation circle, and it became a kind of key to open this door,” Kyle explained as he let Talia inside.
A room as big as a classroom greeted the two of them. The room was filled with tables with a very complete variety of alchemist equipment. Stone furnaces, iron cauldrons, even measuring cups and magic crystals. The room was already similar to Talia's father's workspace at home.
The stone door behind them closed slowly. The vibration again makes dust and small pebbles fall. The room is similar to an underground cave with two large pipe funnels attached to the ceiling as an air circulation tool.
Kyle snapped his finger. A moment later a blue spark appeared from the tip of his hand. Deftly the young man threw small tongues of fire into the six corners of the room. Torches in the entire room were immediately flared up to illuminate the entire view.
“Sit down and rest first. You look fucked up,” Kyle proposes while holding Talia on a small sofa with a soft back
“Kyle, can you promise me?” said Talia who has coiled comfortably on the sofa in maroon color.
“What?” kyle asked, who sat in front of Talia, looking at the girl seriously.
“Do not try to provoke Ludwig.”
“What was that you saw just now?”
Talia nodded briefly. “In my vision, you attacked Ludwig in his room. But Ludwig doesn't seem to have rhymed me. He said it was three days since I touched him. That means three days from now, Ludwig has not carried out his plan,” Talia explained at length.
“Then, that means I still have time to teach him a lesson,” growled Kyle with glittering eyes.
“I told you not to provoke him. If you do that, Ludwig will be suspicious because you seem to know the plan. It will take him on the occasion when .. uh, I touched him accidentally,” Talia muttered wrongly. He has not described in detail how the girl touched Ludwig.
“It won't make him immediately think that you have special abilities,” Kyle said.
“I don't want the problem getting bigger Kyle. The only way is to train my ability to face the beast,” press Talia stubbornly.
Kyle took a long breath in fatigue. “I also do not think that it is a safe action to do,” murmured while leaning his body onto the sofa. “And now you are exhausted from having too much contact with others. Is there no way to handle it?”
Talia sighed gloomily. “Tomorrow I'll try wearing gloves. But it will definitely be very striking,” he lamented.
“That's better than constantly looking at the future of others until your magic energy is drained so.”
“You're right. I don't think we can start training today. At least there are still three days for me to do the exercises.” Talia tried to think that she was training alone in her dorm room. However, with his unstable fire control ability, he might be able to burn half of his room contents before sunrise. Talia needs someone to train her.
“So you want to skip class for three whole days? Ptofesor Theia will obviously give us a severe punishment. Maybe pluck the roots of the Mandragona plant, a plant that always screams every touch.
“We can do it at break time and after completion of lesson time,” Talia said later.
“And you're gonna miss lunch? Any dinner? Isn't the time too short to try to master the fire element?” cecar Kyle was constantly worried.
“Just trust in my ability, Kyle,” Talia timpal though he himself is actually also doubtful. But right now, that's the only idea that comes to his head.
