The Magic Talent Test in the Enchanter Department was held for four consecutive days. Each day is a test for each element. In order, the test schedule is:
Day 1: Water Element Talent Test
Day 2: Wind Element Talent Test
Day 3: Ground Element Talent Test
Day 4: Fire Element Talent Test
All Academy students are required to take the entire test. Later the teachers who will determine the appropriate class after seeing the results of the test.
Talia was quite enthusiastic on the first day of the test. Performing water magic is very fun and always keeps her calm. Water was the first element he learned as a child. That was unintentionally too.
Talia was probably seven years old. He was playing in the rain secretly. Her mother was sick, so the whole waiter was focused on taking care of the hostess's needs. His father had not been home for a long time either. Therefore Talia felt free to play the rain without being caught.
However, while playing in the front garden, suddenly his father's horse-drawn carriage emerged from the gate. Talia who was afraid of being scolded immediately ran into the shade. But his entire wet body could not be hidden and his father would probably know that he had been playing with rain.
When scared to death, Talia could only continue to think about being able to dry her body instantly. Miraculously, all the water that was soaking into the dress, her hair and her entire body suddenly obeyed Talia's mind. The water rolled down and then disappeared completely. By the time her father arrived before Talia, the little girl's body had already dried up completely.
That was the first time Talia had studied magic self-taught. No one knows about it. From that moment on, Talia continuously tried to give orders to the water. He finally mastered the water element as easily as doing breathing movements.
“You look happy,” comments Kyle standing next to Talia among the ranks of the first level children of Departeen Enchanter.
They were all lined up neatly in a horticultural garden belonging to the Alchemist department located behind their department building. There are three stages in this water control test: water as life, water as healing, and water as protection. This morning all the students had to do the practice of watering the horticultural plants with their water magic evenly. It is the implementation of water as life.
“Playing water is fun. Isn't that right?” talia said cheerfully.
Kyle just smiled looking at the girl as excited as a child. Talia watched her friends take turns watering swaths of garden plants that could scream or spit out acid. Some of them smiled with satisfaction at successfully growing new shoots on a patch of Humming Vervana. The purple plant is compact to sing a hymn of praise once its shoots grow in unison.
Misa gets a patch of troublesome plants. He should water a patch of black Hebane that likes to spit acid whenever he gets a spicy comment or hears harsh words. Misa accidentally slipped slippery wet soil and then cursed near the plant.
Rebut row Hebane – no less than a dozen white flowers veined with a black base – spit at the girl so excited. The acidic liquid ejected in all directions and attacked Misa even before she displayed her ability to control the water element. The poor misa.
Unfortunately, it is not easy to cultivate Black Rubwort. Wrong in the slightest, its properties turned into poison. Growing this little grass is not easy either. The plot that Kyle had to work on mostly contained back Rubwort leaves that had been mongering. The maintenance is very difficult and this grass also dies easily.
Kyle advanced to his own plot witnessed by the entire first-rate child. No one made a sound when they saw Kyle in action. The plants are the hardest among other children. It looks like Professor Theia accidentally gave Kyle the plant because she knew the Gothe family's plural talents were known.
Kyle looked confident. With a light movement, the young man flicked the finger of his right hand. The next second a large wisp of water approached him obediently. Kyle again waved his hand, then the water blob responded by forming a kind of small drizzle over the swath of black grass.
A moment passed, suddenly the entire dried grass was refreshed. New shoots emerged from the wasteland and instantly became a huge, fat grass. Kyle's crop plot soon became the most fertile among the others. The black grass was ready for harvest.
All the children who saw it immediately’woah’ amazed. The talents of the Gothe family's children were indeed not playful. Talia and Professor Theia applauded in satisfaction at Kyle's achievement. The young man always exceeded the expectations of others.
“You're amazing, Kyle,” Talia whispered as soon as her best friend got back on her feet next to her.
Kyle smiled warmly. “You can definitely do well too,” reply the young man.
Talia nodded confidently. He can't wait to grow his own flowers. Talia's turn has come. The girl is called forward and gets a swath of very active red Pixy Poppy. Talia was disappointed.
Pixy Poppy is a tuber-shaped medicinal plant with one red poppy flower on its head. Plants are easy to grow with just a little water. When the age is ripe, Pixy Poppy will bulge as big as a bowl of soup, and stay on the ground waiting to be lifted.
The problem is, when it is young, the plant continues to move around the entire area of land where it is planted. Not infrequently, so active, Pixy Poppy damage other plants that are nearby. That is why the Pixy Poppy should be placed in a special area that is only for its own species.
And here's where Talia is. In a compartment covered by a knee-high concrete fence, measuring 5x5 square meters, containing only three Pixy Ponny plants that move and dig to and fro at a speed that is difficult for normal eyes to follow.
Professor Theia gave Talia the task of doubling the number of Pixy Poppy shoots to five plants. Talia could have doused the entire area with water. However, Pixy Poppy does not like to run on wet soil. The plant may dig deeper until it is no longer visible. It was impossible to flood the entire area with water. The river may appear there.
Talia thought hard. How to give water to the three plants so that two of them can grow new shoots? Suddenly he remembered Smoke. Talia got the idea from her fire spirit, combined with the incident when she made herself dry as a child. Talia could order the water not to be absorbed by the soil, instead becoming a large blob and looking for Pixy Ponny's body. That way, the water can be absorbed by the plant.
So Talia did her plan. He raised both his hands and made three lumps of water in the air. He then waved both hands and three lumps of water immediately darted in search of their respective targets: Pixy Ponny. It took a few minutes without a reaction, before the first Pixy Ponny stopped running. The second, then the third.
In the next second, each of those Pixy Ponny had apparently sprouted one, two, three, even five shoots each. The entire area was filled with nimble little tuber plants in just five minutes.
Talia punched the air happily. He celebrated his success in making his crop plots sprout. Professor Theia and her other friends applauded. Kyle greeted Talia with a proud smile. The first day of the Magic Talent Test ended perfectly.
