The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Self Rescuing

Arriving at the mouth of the cave, Talia found that many people had gathered there. The professors and the school's guardian faun were massively protecting the area and attempting to seal the cave. When Talia and Ludwig appeared, the people were very surprised. Even so Professor Theia seemed grateful. Talia tried to run out, but Ludwig held her back. The young man then stuck his tag forward and apparently in front of them now there is a solid transparent wall and impenetrable.

"Ortea! Gothe! You survived?" greet the professor running to meet his two injured students. "Open his defensive magic so they can get out" he ordered later.

The eight adult witches who were still raising their hands to create protective magic seemed hesitant. Such magic can usually only be performed by Alchemists.

"It's too dangerous to open the barrier now. The dragon could have gone out and messed with the city" said one of the Alchemy department professors.

"Don't be stupid! Do you want to lock these two disciples in a cave? They're safe and we need to get them out before it's too late!" urged Professor Theia.

"But ... ." One of the alchemists still wanted to refute. But the sharp gaze of the Professor head of the Enchanter Department made them finally comply.

The barrier of the transparent wall disappeared from Talia's presence. Ludwig then grabbed Talia's hand and took the girl out.

"Come, hurry! Hurry along!" urged Professor Theia while waving her hand to make a gesture closer.

As soon as Talia and Ludwig passed through the mouth of the cave, the magic barrier again covered the entrance. Both were full of pain and full of wounds.

"Professor, you intend to lock us in?" sigh Ludwig stinged.

"We have no choice. The dragon is too fierce to get out of here. He could tear apart cities and kill people" the Professor said, visibly feeling guilty. "By the way, where's the other kid. Aren't there three people trapped in the cave? Is he ... ?" professor Theia continued in horror.

"Kyle is fine. It's just. He is now in a difficult situation to explain. I think the dragon will die soon too" Ludwig said.

"What do you mean, Gothe? Even the dozens of magicians gathered in this place alone would probably not be able to deal with the detached dragon. How could your sister do that?" sergeant Professor Ursula, the head of the Beast Tamer Department who burst out from the crowd.

"Everyone knows that he has dark powers like you." Ludwig returned.

"Although that's the case, his dark power is still unstable. If the boy were to use it now to kill the dragon, does that mean Kyle Gothe would lose control of his consciousness?" Professor Theia asked again.

Ludwig remained silent. Without needing to answer, everyone instantly knew what had happened to Kyle in there.

"I've called Duke Gothe here. He was already on his way to the Academy" added Professor Rilley, the Head of the Alchemist Department who had been listening earlier.

"In that case, maybe you won't be able to save Kyle. He ... had drowned too deep in his own darkness," murmured Ludwig grimly.

Talia shook her head slowly. "No. I ... There's still me. I'm going to save Kyle" Talia chanted with confidence.

Everyone in the room turned to Talia. The head professors then realized that the girl had now been followed by four spirit elements of nature. A very rare and surprising event of course.

"I will use the power of light to save Kyle" Talia said.

"But it's not easy to do. Even if you've managed to summon four nature spirits, your body needs to be trained for many years before it can receive such great power of light" explained Professor Theia solemnly.

Talia nodded back. "No. We don't have time. Please teach me. It's a pity to do it this time, too" insisted Talia in compulsion.

"Can't, Lady Ortega, it's a very dangerous act. You better go save yourself now with Lord Gothe. Professor Li will help you get to a safe place. Your power is too precious to be sacrificed now." Professor Theia insisted.

Professor Li, the teacher of the basics of elemental magic, walked over and tried to take Talia away. But the girl was angry. He refused to be taken away from the place.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm going to save Kyle! If the Professor doesn't want to help me, then I will find my own way" Talia argued firmly.

The girl then ordered Euphoria to throw herself away from the professors. The girl soared and floated in the air ten meters above the ground. The professors down there immediately shouted. Some of them also started flying to catch Talia.

But Euphoria did a good job. That wind spirit made a tornado circle around Talia's body, similar to a defensive fortress that made anyone unable to get close. Taking advantage of that, Talia immediately thought quickly to continue her plan.

"Tell me how to summon the light element?" ask Talia on the four elements.

"You must unite the four of us in pure energy. Literally, you have to control four elements at once at a time" Euphoria replied politely.

"But the act wasn't easy, Talia. If you fail, you can kill yourself because of the uncontrolled overflow of magic energy." Undine gave advice.

"That's right, man. With your current abilities, that reckless act is suicidal" Leto chirped roughly.

"But if you want to try it, I won't hesitate, Contractor. Just try it, "push Smoke to encourage.

Talia had not had time to give an answer, suddenly the cave where the dragon lived exploded violently. The explosion threw Talia's body away, including those below.

"That's Kyle. He had already defeated the dragon and now he appeared with a killing intent!" talia chuckled as she observed the pitch-black aura that appeared in the distance. He doesn't have time. The opportunity is only now, or everything is in vain.

The girl then focused all her energy on summoning the four elements simultaneously. The river water near the valley was turbulent because it was controlled by Talia. The water overflowed to a kind of small tsunami down there. Talia also called out for even more roaring hurricanes. The shaking of the rocks above the ground continued to churn, creating a great earthquake thanks to Talia's ability to summon earth elements. Lastly, an unusually large burst of smoke fire completes the four elements that Talia now seeks to control.

His body felt like it was being torn apart when the four elements were united and controlled together. His entire magic energy was mixed and sucked in at the same time. Talia tried to hold on, but the excruciating pain burned all over her body, making the girl barely faint again.

"No ... I .. must .. endure .. ," he murmured while grimacing in pain.
