The Sight Of Future

The Sight Of Future
Presentiments

The next days went on normally. Both Kyle and Susan have now recovered completely. The gloves made by Leo also greatly helped Talia to be able to interact with her friends without causing any effects thrown into the future.

The magic talent test was already in sight. Even so Talia felt uneasy. Kyle repeatedly assures Talia that Ludwig may not be following his foolish plans again after a duel with Kyle the other day. But Talia's hunch just said otherwise. He was tempted to once again peek at Ludwig's future in order to get a definite picture of Kyle's words.

But two other friends of Talia also convinced Talia. Susan and Leo also said that Talia did not need to worry anymore because now she had mastered the spirit of fire. At least Talia's ability can be used against all the beasts that Ludwig sent.

Even Susan also suggested that she might have done something to Ludwig. Talia suspected that Susan had manipulated Ludwig's mind so that he no longer had the taste to destroy Talia. Although Talia is not too sure Susan's ability to penetrate the mental strength of Ludwig is so violent and full of evil.

In the end, Talia decided to dismiss her anxiety. He didn't want to make his friends worry. Especially since he also had to focus on the magic aptitude test. To be honest Talia is more interested in getting into the class of water or wind elements. Both elements imply tranquility and freedom. Unfortunately it seems a little impossible because now his ability to summon fire spirits is known by almost all schools.

The incident of the pterotos attack that left Susan injured made Talia forced to acknowledge the ability. He was interrogated for hours in Professor Theia's room, and although the professor clearly knew who did it, no decisive action was taken by the Academy against Ludwig.

Instead Talia actually became the center of attention because the professor actually felt proud because the students of his department were able to call the spirit of fire. With this ability, Talia was already assured of going into the fire element class for the rest of her studies at the Academy.

Kyle said that he would take the same class as Talia. After all since the main element was beyond the four basic elements, then Kyle was entitled to choose whichever class he wanted. Armed with this belief, Talia became unmoved to worry about the Magic Talent Test that would be held in two days.

Leo on the other hand, is still glued with his class choices. Will he choose the class of magic potion makers or magic objects. Leo is talented in both fields and is indeed interested in learning both. It was just too greedy to take two classes simultaneously. He also could not divide his body in two to follow the hours of lessons held at the same time.

"Makers of potions do make an established job. But there are already many herbologists in this kingdom. You're just gonna be one of hundreds of potion-making witches, Dean. Instead, making magic objects was difficult and rare. Because it's expensive magic items. If you want to be rich, you better pick a magic class," Susan advised one time they were having breakfast together.

"But my family is rich, Susan. I don't want to make money. I want to have some fun. Forging magic objects is hot and exhausting, although it's fun enough to do it once in a while" Dean said as he stuffed a grain of wine into his mouth.

"Well, I can't force you. But don't regret that your wife will become richer than you, and you will be oppressed in the household" Susan casually replied.

"Why are you suddenly talking about your wife?" Leo protested with his mouth full of wine.

Susan nodded slowly. "Eitherway. I'm thinking of working in Special Forces. Become part of the investigation division. A friend gave me some helpful advice. After I find out it turns out the monthly income is fantastic. So you have to get ready from now on" the girl said as she winked at Talia.

Talia laughed, but did not comment.

Susan shrugged her shoulders casually. "Think of it yourself, Dean."

Leo could only scratch his head that was not itchy. He was dizzy choosing a major, now must be added to guess the meaning of Susan's words. Talia just smiled at the interaction of her two best friends. They are getting closer by the day. Even Talia reached Susan and Leo alone in the secret room several times. Although Talia was convinced that Susan did not use her manipulative magic on the young man she liked, but somehow she felt anxious because Leo was completely insensitive to Susan's feelings.

"You alone, what do you want to do after you graduate from the Academy?" kyle asked Talia.

Talia thought for a moment. There is nothing specific actually. He still wants to travel around the continent before he replaces his father in charge of Ortega. Indirectly, Talia's future was already determined.

"I will return to Ortega and begin to learn to inherit my father's job as Count" Talia replied as she was.

Kyle seemed to think for a moment. "Yes ..it doesn't seem bad to also spend my life in a town near the port. We can enjoy the sea and beach every day. It must be very beautiful" said the young man, smiling at Talia.

Kyle's words made Talia blush. He did not think at all about his future with others, given his ability to always see the future. If he comes into contact with another person, then he will be thrown into the future of that person. How could Talia possibly live with others, even get married? It is the same as not being able to make physical contact with anyone.

Not to mention the fact that in the future, Kyle's dark power might explode and kill many people, even destroy the kingdom. Just remembering it made Talia shudder. Has he managed to shift Kyle's bleak future so far?

"Didn't you like my plan?" kyle asked to throw out Talia's daydream.

Talia smiled awkwardly. "I ... just bermum think to that extent. We should enjoy the present instead of thinking about the uncertain future" Talia murmured.

Kyle just smiled faintly. "It's okay. Just think slowly. I'll be patient too" he said.

To be honest Talia didn't know what Kyle would be patient for. Is the young man waiting for him? Waiting for what? Talia's mind became increasingly confused at the thought of this. Talia approached Kyle first. He didn't think Kyle would become so attached to him.

Talia breathed a heavy sigh. It was best that he did not think of such complicated things just yet for now. There were many other problems that caught his attention. One of them is about a boy who has been staring intently at them since: Ludwig Gothe.
